They have a HUGE selection of Patagonia goods as well as camping/living essentials like Yeti tumblers. I found the better sweater in the color I'd been eyeing for a while and was able to get it! All the brands that I saw are QUALITY stuff- brands that stand behind their goods when life happens. When we visited their…read morestore for the first time, we were overly impressed with everything their store has to offer, it is just amazing. Next, Heidi and Dave took the time with us to explain all the features about the Eclipse. We eventually proceeded to purchase the Eclipse and it was delivered by Dave personally with what they call their "white glove" delivery service to customers in the lake Gaston area. Again, Dave took time to go over all the features for setting up the Hobie Eclipse. We are pleased to share that we have taken the Eclipse on the water and absolutely love the board. It is extremely stable, nimble to maneuver, and very fast. We thank Heidi and Dave for their patience and support as we made this purchase and look forward to doing more business with Lake Gaston Outfitters in the future! Gary and Tracy C

They have a small lot and plentiful Brightleaf parking across the street…read more(although you do have to pay for that lot, and they aren't able to validate since they aren't technically part of Brightleaf). I got an iced decaf americano with vanilla, which was delicious and came in a glass since they knew I was sticking around. They have a lot of seating and the whole place feels bright, airy, open and clean. They also have a cute store on the left hand side of the space that sells outdoor clothing, shoes and gear. The Deets: I had brunch with some friends that live in Durham and after the meal, they directed me to stop into Yonderlust for a coffee beverage stop instead of having one at the restaurant. We stopped by and ducked into the cafe side...I say cafe side as 2/3 of the space there is an outfitters/apparel shop and the other part houses the coffee shop/cafe. The cafe side (as well as the apparel shop) is very nicely done inside, very appealing and clean. The coffee seating area was packed, it appears to be a great place to stop and sit/work a spell even on a Sunday. Ordering moved through fairly quickly and I put in my request for a hot skim latte to the very nice and positive person at the register. The wait was not long before my beverage was completed, and your beverage/name are both called out to pick up when it's ready. I did manage to find one lone chair to sit and drink my tasty beverage while my friends did some shopping in the apparel side. I enjoyed my latte, I'd most definitely stop in again when in the area.
