From the very beginning, I felt confident that she truly understood my vision--and she brought it to life beautifully. One thing I truly appreciated about working with Courtney is that she does not nickel and dime you. She was always upfront about costs and actively looked for ways to save us money without sacrificing quality or style. She offered thoughtful suggestions and alternatives that stayed within our budget, which made the entire planning process feel honest, supportive, and stress-free. Courtney and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding day seamless and perfect. Everything was handled with such care and professionalism, and our wedding day was truly everything we hoped for. I am so thankful for Courtney and her amazing team. We hired Courtney as our partial planner, florist and day-of coordinator and we owe so much of our perfect wedding day to her. I do plenty of event planning for clients in my own job so I did EXTENSIVE research on every planner in the area and from the very first phone call, I immediately knew my partner and I were in the best hands. Planning: Courtney was on every single detail and helped us to design a venue where we needed to bring in all of our own vendors. She was responsive, flexible, attentive and has excellent contacts with the best vendors when we needed recommendations. She provided honest feedback and helped us to stay within our budget which we so greatly appreciated. When we shared some of our more creative ideas and non-conventional ways to have our day, Courtney didn't bat an eye and immediately went into figuring out how we'd get it done. For all of her services, her pricing structure is extremely competitive. I was so particular about certain details and in meetings, I'd mention something once and the next moment, Courtney had it in our file. Florals: My jaw literally dropped when I first walked into my venue on the big day. I had given her my Pinterest board for some initial ideas and she HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK. I cried when my bouquet was handed to me, it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. From our chuppah, aisle, bridesmaid bouquets, centerpieces and all the small details, Courtney and her team nailed it and are insanely talented. Day-Of Coordinating: Courtney will know what you need even before you know you want it. She thought of EVERYTHING and my husband and I felt so cared for and looked after. She bustled my dress, she had food waiting for us after the ceremony in a private room, she showed me how to hold my bouquet, she timed everything perfectly, and so much more. From her extensive experience with weddings, she anticipated everything I or our bridal parties could ever need. I didn't lift a finger on my day. Her calm, fun and lovely personality was just a joy to have around. This review alone could never do her and her work justice. She is truly passionate and genuinely loves what she does and it is so apparent in her work. Courtney went ABOVE AND BEYOND and did it all with a smile and wonderful energy. We can't stop getting compliments from all of our guests on what a fantastic job she did with our wedding day. Highly, highly recommend.

In the wedding business it's important to remember you get what you pay for. This has been the best money spent in all of my wedding expenses, so far. Bash came HIGHLY-RECOMMENDED thru about 6 different websites, so I reached out to LT, and made arrangements to meet with her. I fell in love the minute I met her, and signed her immediately. There isn't anything LT won't do in the best way possible, to make this day amazing. She's planning it all, including the rehearsal dinner and farewell brunch, blocking rooms, hiring vendors, booking formal wear appointments, monitoring our budget, monitoring our wedding Web site, save-the-dates, invitations, the list goes on and on and on. I don't know how she keeps it all together, and looking effortless! To date, she has schlepped us to numerous wedding venues, catering tastings, vendor appointments, kept me from melting down numerous times in the midst of planning my wedding, is on-track with all of my whacky requests and handles my micro-managing with absolute grace, stays in constant e - mail contact with me, and is definitely the calm in the storm. I still have 9 months until my wedding, and without LT and Bash, I'd be lost and probably in a mental home by now. I will most definitely update my review once our wedding is over, but for now, I'm here to tell you that Bash Event Planning, and LT are AMAZING!!! I wish I could write a glowing review, but my experience with House of BASH fell far short of what…read moreI expected from a professional wedding coordinator. A wedding is one of the most important days of a couple's life, and the reason we hired a coordinator was so that we could be present and enjoy the day rather than manage it ourselves. Unfortunately, my family, friends, and vendors ended up stepping into many of the responsibilities we specifically hired House of BASH to handle. What makes this especially disappointing is that the written scope of our $1,800 "Something Old" package explicitly included vendor management, master timeline creation, rehearsal coordination, guest direction, reception flow, troubleshooting, and two experienced House of BASH coordinators. The sales process vs. the reality When I first inquired with LT, she was extremely upbeat and confident on the phone and described everything House of BASH could provide. I initially planned to use her for both coordination and floral/design services. The design process was one of the first places where I became concerned. I provided a Pinterest board with the aesthetic and ideas I wanted, and the resulting proposal largely consisted of images from that board rather than a developed design presentation showing how those ideas would be translated into our wedding. The proposal itself was difficult for me to follow and did not give me confidence in moving forward with the additional design services. I ultimately decided not to continue with those additional services and lost $300 associated with the design process. At that point, I decided to handle much of the design myself. Communication and professionalism Once we moved into the planning process, my experience was very different from the initial sales call. Communication with LT was often blunt and made me uncomfortable asking questions. I was told things were "unusual" or "not what [she] experienced in years in the industry" when I asked questions or made decisions differently from how she typically runs weddings. I also worked primarily with an assistant throughout much of the planning process. When we had our venue walkthrough about a week before the wedding, the assistant asked questions about details we had already discussed, including linens and cocktail stirs, even though we had already confirmed we were not doing those items. More importantly, the questions that mattered most to the actual flow of our wedding were not discussed in the level of detail I expected from a coordinator. The package we purchased specifically included vendor management, master timeline creation, and two experienced House of BASH coordinators, so I expected the team executing our wedding to be very familiar with our plans. Timeline and preparation I chose to build our master timeline around our photographer's schedule because photography was extremely important to us. LT repeatedly described my approach as "unusual," and I felt pressured to follow her preferred way of doing things. Ultimately, I stayed with the timeline that worked for our photographer, and I am grateful I did because it allowed us to get the photographs that were important to us. The bigger issue was that I felt I had to prepare extensively for the coordinator rather than the coordinator preparing us. We created our own comprehensive wedding binder containing our timeline, vendor information, ceremony music, meal assignments, substitutions, and day-of instructions. We printed copies and distributed them to our wedding party and family because we wanted everyone to have access to the information. Despite that, even in the week leading up to the wedding, the coordination team was still asking questions about details such as ceremony music that were already clearly documented. The rehearsal Our rehearsal was scheduled for 11:00 AM. My wedding party and I were there on time, but LT arrived at approximately 11:08 AM. Eight minutes may not sound significant, but the package specifically included rehearsal coordination and leading the ceremony rehearsal so the wedding party would know where to be and when. I had not been given a clear answer beforehand about which coordinator would be present, so I personally had to call and text to figure out who was coming. That experience did not give me confidence going into the wedding day. Wedding-day coordination and vendor management This is where the difference between what we purchased and what we experienced became most apparent. Our package specifically included vendor management, oversight of vendor setup, coordination with catering, management of the day's timeline, guest direction, reception flow, and troubleshooting. Unfortunately, my family and I ended up stepping into several of these responsibilities. Catering and vendor meals Our vendor meals and substitution meals were clearly documented in our wedding binder. On the wedding day, LT did not know which individuals were su

Clearly we had to make alternative arrangements--and make them quickly. That's when we met Lindsay Sims and TOAST. In that incredibly short span of time, using her wide network of contacts, she and her team created a remarkable series of events...all of them at the height of the "season". She figured out logistics, found and filled gift bags, had itineraries and programs beautifully printed, persuaded our hotel to provide a private hospitality suite, made reservations for fabulous dinners (one at an exclusive club). She also arranged for us to drink champagne while viewing fireworks from the top of a mountain; to take a sleigh ride past a frozen river to a nighttime dinner at a cabin in the woods. She organized a splendid hair and make-up session before the ceremony. She hired exceptional musicians and a talented florist who filled the RIGHT church with beauty and joy. The reception was the perfect finale. One guest was so impressed that he wrote an article about it for a local magazine. Another said she had to pinch herself in order to realize the experience was actually happening--it felt like a dream. (Fortunately, the photographer was so skillful we have proof.) Through it all, there was NO stress; we were able to relax and savor every minute knowing that Lindsay had it under control....working with her was a true delight. Anyone who has the opportunity of using her services has been blessed.

Words cannot express how my wife and I feel about our wedding planner, Jordan Xu, of Emily Jordan…read moreEvents (formerly Jordan Flowers of Wedding Belles). She is the best. We were truly lucky to have found her. Throughout our entire wedding planning process, we were very appreciative and grateful to have Jordan by our side. We relied on her heavily. Her guidance and support made everything about our wedding so much easier. We trusted her fully. We can't recommend Jordan and her team enough. Our wedding was April 15, 2022 at the Atlanta History Center. We first started working with Jordan in July 2018. Yes, we had been planning our wedding for about 3 years 9 months. No, we did not plan it that way. Our original wedding date was May 30, 2020. My wife and I had planned for a roughly two-year engagement and wedding planning period. Then of course, COVID happened. Our wedding was postponed twice: First, to May 7, 2021. Then, to April 15, 2022. Jordan was with us and supported us every step of the way. We went from planning a pre-COVID wedding to a post-COVID wedding. We went from in-person planning sessions to virtual planning sessions. We went from "normal" tastings to masked and socially-distant tastings. (BTW, the tastings - both for the food at the reception and for our wedding cake - were some of my favorite parts of the planning process.) We found Jordan after doing internet searches for Atlanta wedding planners. Jordan was one of multiple planners we contacted. One of the planners we spoke to wasn't a good fit. She recommended Jordan to us. Also, an Atlanta wedding photographer I know put in a good word about Jordan. After meeting with Jordan, my wife and I agreed, Jordan was an excellent fit. We immediately felt comfortable and jived with her. Coincidentally, Jordan and my wife went to the same college for undergrad (Emory) and Jordan and I are from the same part of North Carolina (Piedmont Triad). We've gotten along with Jordan so well that we consider her and her husband our friends. They are just really good people. Jordan is very professional and organized. With her years of experience in the wedding industry, particularly in Atlanta and with our venue and vendors, I knew we were in great hands. In general, my wife was more involved in the planning process with Jordan - she was more particular about certain details than I was. However, I think I was involved at an "above-average" level for a groom. I attended every meeting, but admittedly, tried to stay as hands-off as possible. Jordan was invaluable at securing appointments with the vendors that made the most sense to us based on our budget and preferences. Here were our vendors: * Venue: Swan House, Atlanta History Center * Florist: Unique Floral Expressions * Caterer: Affairs to Remember * Cake: Confection Perfection * DJ and MC: Andy of EuroAndy Events * Ceremony Music: Piedmont Strings * Furniture: EventWorks * Wedding Car: Ramblin' Reck from the Ramblin' Reck Club * Photographer: Leigh Wolfe Photography * Videographer: WedFlix * Bride's Wedding Dress: Sweet Elegance and Gizzelle James Couturiere * Bride and Bridesmaids Hair and Makeup: Scoobie West & Company * Bridesmaids Dresses: Bella Bridesmaids * Groom's Tux: TRIO Custom Clothiers * Groomsmen and Bridesman Tuxes: The Black Tux * Hotel: InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta * Trolley: Georgia Trolley Services * Dance Lessons: Fred Astaire Dance Studio (Durham, NC) * Planning Platform: Aisle Planner * Website, Registry, RSVPs: Zola * Paper Save the Dates and Invitations: Minted * Digital Save the Dates and Address Collection: Paperless Post Going through two years of postponements, we did have a couple vendors change due to life circumstances: (1) Our cake vendor changed from Lush Cakery to Confection Perfection. (2) Our dance studio changed from Daza Dance to Fred Astaire. A few of the vendors, we found ourselves. For example, I already had an existing relationship with TRIO, so I got them to do my custom tux. My wife and I already had our minds set on a Swan House wedding. Jordan made it happen. She and her team, along with many of the vendors we chose, have a lot of experience working together *and* working at the Atlanta History Center. So, for the most part, everything was quite easy. I think the hard part, at least for me as the groom, was decision-making on certain details (e.g. menu) and getting our guest list in order. In addition to securing the vendors that fit us best, Jordan and her team (including Sydney Woods and Gerard Wright) took care of so many details, I can't even begin to tell you; from reviewing and coordinating contracts and payments to little things on our wedding day, such as getting lip balm for my lips that were chapped from so much kissing. Jordan is a consummate professional. Simply put, Jordan exceeded our expectations and executed the wedding of our dreams. Check out our wedding trailer to see exactly what I mean: https://bit.ly/3laAY1h. Thank you, Jordan!
