Prior to this, I had only used the LIBBE open system. While the LIBBE can be helpful as a short term solution for constipation, my experience with Nanja and the closed system was far more comprehensive and therapeutic. Although Nanja is present throughout the session, the experience is still private, respectful, and comfortable. You are fully covered at all times and safely monitored throughout the treatment. Her presence allows her to observe what is happening in real time and respond to the body's needs, which is not something that is done with the LIBBE systems offered in Bakersfield where clients are left alone during the session. Nanja uses gentle abdominal massage to help aid the removal of accumulated waste and with permission also incorporates pressure points and guided breathwork. This hands on approach made a noticeable difference not only in comfort but in results. It also allowed her to tailor the number of sessions needed based on what my body was actually doing rather than a one size fits all approach.
