Spell check messed up name of the garage should be Pettyjohns not patty jones. I called towing service back they said tow truck driver dropped off car. Called service technician he said tow truck driver never dropped off keys. Once again called tow truck dispatcher she said she would call pettyjohns . We drove to Bethany, MO from where we live North of Lineville, Iowa to say we were on our way. Cody the technician said they found the car in lot. The tow truck driver had told me when he picked up car that the office would email receipt to me Monday. I told him I needed receipt to turn into insurance company for reimbursement. Monday called dispatcher said, "would email receipt in 15 minutes." Waited when no response drove to there office in Lamoni, Iowa picked up receipt. Their customer service is terrible. The broken fuel pump meant that you had to completely remove the fuel tank on this very large van. Most shops were unwilling to even take it at all. East Side stepped up and agreed not only to take the van but to get it done the next morning. The young man they sent with the tow truck was quick and professional. We got a cab and headed to the hotel. East Side got to work on the van and were partically done by time we got there the next day. They completed the work quickly and professionally. Their charge was more then reasonable and we were on our way home by lunch. I cannot thank East Side enough for how they were willing to step up and help us out. Parents of Northwest Missouri students…read more... My daughter who attends the college in Maryville called me and told me her car wouldn't start. Not knowing any mechanics in Maryville I went on Yelp and found Shell towing and service. I called them and talked with a nice gentleman by the name of Marshall. He told me he would give my daughter a call and set up having her car towed to there shop. Within 30 minutes Marshall had my daughters car picked up from her house. My daughter told me Marshall made her feel comfortable and safe. Marshall called her after getting her car to the shop and said the starter was out and needed to be replaced and it would be $420 including the tow. So my daughter told him to go ahead with the work. She called me about 30 minutes after that conversation and said Marshall reached out to her again and said her original starter was good but it was missing a bolt so they went ahead and put a new bolt in it and her car was ready to go. My daughter told me her bill was just $120 witch was labor and the tow. Marshall and Shell could have easily said they replaced her starter and taken $420 from my daughter. But they were honest and respectful and made my daughter feel safe. It's really nice having someone who you can call, since as parents we aren't able to be in the same town as our kids all the time. First LIE; Shawn, Bill & Shawn Jr ALL proudly shared with me the new 30K Engine Analyzer they had & would be using to diagnose the reason for the SERVICE ENGINE SOON warning dash light coming on. Second LIE; Yes THAT SERVICE ENGINE SOON is the correct light that was on & the reason I brought my mother's car in. Shawn was aware THAT was the warning dash light that was lit & he even reset it following their unneeded service. Not a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. Third Lie; I DID NOT MOVE ANY BARREL blocking your carwash entrance & for you to accuse me of doing that is beyond ridiculous. If Shawn is such an honest guy, as you initially touted to me, he would have told you HE MOVED THAT BARREL & then told me to drive in & he'd start the carwash. It never started, not one drop of water was ever released. Shawn even apologized to me saying he was sorry he didn't realize it was not working.
