The service from the linemen is top notch. The after hours power outage reporting is some of the worse. They want you to use the app to report outages but when you live in rural areas and don't have service, you can't use the app. The call center will hang up on you and will even hang up on 911. Downed lines to the call center meant nothing. read more

The evil arbitrary power company most Lagrange citizens have to deal with. Terrible billing practices and they charge you whatever the hell they want because they have a monopoly over us being the sole energy supplier because "what are you going to do about it??" The whole "Summer Rates" thing is complete BS and they charged me summer rates well into October last year. This is one of the main reasons I'm leaving Lagrange. I hope this place goes out of business. read more

If only I could change electric companies but sadly they are the only one who services where I'm at. I wish I could give 0 stars. Even if you are on auto-pay don't be surprised if you get a penalty fee! When I questioned this I was met with an extremely unprofessional customer service representative. Also told "no electric company has a set due date every month".... like what? Seriously? OKAY. Let's pretend this is true, NOT ONCE WAS MY HUSBAND OR MYSELF INFORMED OF THIS. Otherwise I wouldn't have put my crap on auto-pay. Extremely unprofessional, dishonest, and such a sneaky company! I wasn't even fully upset when talking to her because I know the woman I was talking to isn't in charge of really anything and I told her so that my frustration was in no way aimed at her personally, and yet what made the situation worse and the reason I requested to talk to the manager was when she then proceeded to mock me. We had 8 street lights out in our neighborhood. At 9:00 am on a Monday morning I call Diverse Power To ask them if they would put us on the list for repair. I gave them the numbers from each poll. By nightfall every light had been repaired Now that's what you call great customer service. read more

I wish we could have purchased a home outside of Diverse Power. We did look. They are far reaching in our area. Terrible customer service. Terrible rates. Unethical practices regarding bills. We have been extremely unhappy. If you could choose your power company, we would be gone in heartbeat. read more
