A Perfect Oasis in the Desert! My recent stay at The Dive Palm Springs was an absolute dream from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and a refreshing welcome drink that instantly melted away my travel stress. The retro-chic design of the courtyard set the tone for a stay that felt both stylish and effortlessly cool. I stayed in the " Paris Suite #1" and wow--what a sanctuary! The Parisian decor, plush bedding, and private patio with mountain views made it impossible not to relax. Little touches like l'occitane bath products and an Amazon Alexa added such a personal, thoughtful flair. The pool area was my happy place--crystal-clear water, cozy lounge beds, and a fire pit for evening hangs under the stars. The location couldn't be better: a quick stroll to downtown's shops and restaurants, and the free bike rentals made exploring the nearby Midcentury homes a breeze. Eco-friendly, vibrant, and full of soul--this spot is a gem. I left feeling recharged and already planning my next escape here. 10/10 would dive in again! Pro tip: Book a poolside cabana for the ultimate chill session. You won't regret it!

My husband and I love this place so much! I will definitely be coming back. There is just so many good things to say about it! First of all, I am so happy that they are chemical free! The luxury linens are not washed with a bunch of toxic chemicals! The room was so lovely! Great shower, so many thoughtful touches. The grounds are absolutely wonderful! A fountain, a pond, pool, spa, firing, so many lovely nooks, and sitting spaces. The staff was the absolute best! Everyone was so lovely and helpful. You even get a free breakfast that was actually quite good! I can't recommend this place enough.

A Lovely Oasis My recent stay at Dive is just what I needed to nourish and recharge my mind, body and soul. The hotel has a very chill, attentive vibe with extra friendly staff ensuring your stay is top notch. This is the first time I have slept on natural linen sheets (always thought I was a sateen girl) and it was heavenly--with the mattress being nice and cozy (I need to have a serious thought about buying linen sheets for my home because I prioritize the coziness of my bed and bedroom!). The pool area was perfect and I struck up fun (non-invasive) conversations with other travelers. It was perfect.

Small and dark room. AC unit blows directly on bed. Thermostat does not work blows very cold air

I regret my stay here !The room does not match the advertised photos, presenting as a small, with minimal natural light, with only two small windows near the front door without screens to open the window due to bugs at the end of a hallway. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, and the thermostat malfunctions, causing the unit to continuously emit cold air at a high speed directly at the bed. Additionally, the bathroom floor is improperly sloped, resulting in water accumulation and flooding during showers. The bed is uneven due to wear, impacting comfort. While the staff is friendly and the breakfast is good, and the outdoor pool area is well-maintained and nice. Not worth the price paid.

This place is pretty dreamy! The perfect place to stay for some serious R&R! Aesthetically the place is so charming and the grounds are upkept beautifully! They have a decent size pool that is kept at 85 degrees and the jacuzzi at 104. Misters are ongoing to keep you cool while sunbathing which is appreciated in the desert! The staff truly goes above and beyond to ensure you feel welcomed and have a comfortable stay. Huge shout out to Ken who was so welcoming and can also make a mean spicy margarita! I recommend not passing on ordering from the cocktail bar because the drinks are done exceptionally well! TIP: Small hotel boutique of 11 rooms so book in advance. The rooms do NOT have a TV because they truly want the guest to unplug. Complimentary parking and breakfast onsite which is appreciated.

This little place is soooo charming! When you first walk-in, it's like walking into an enchanted universe. It is so inviting and it takes a minute to even try and take it all in. So many little details and every square foot of space is used properly. I found this gem and took my husband for his 50th. In advance I ordered som add-one to the room. Strawberries, a charcuterie board and balloons. They nailed it! Everything here is so thoughtful. I see why so many reviewers make heavy note of the French vibe. We feel like this is our own private community with other friendly vacationers. You can order your petite déjeuner via text or walk up to the little kitchen window. Same with your drink orders. Everything on the property is just a few steps away. I like how it seems to draw a more mature crowd of professionals and we are all here for the same thing...relax and restore. Now, the staff...WOW, they are lovely. They have a genuine friendliness and are very attentive. They deserve a lot of credit for ensuring everything is running smoothly and they do an excellent job. Lastly, our Frenchie....the staff gifted her a toy, treats and some extra potty bags. She LOVED her new toy and doesn't want to let it go. If you are looking to decompress and unplug, this is the place to be. There are no tvs in the rooms (which I love), the pool is just a few feet from your door as is the kitchen and everything else you need. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay here again.

Every year, for our anniversary, we go to Palm Springs, and our go-to place to stay is Talavera, but we decided to stay at Dive this year, and we weren't disappointed. It's an adult only, beautiful boutique hotel with a French Riviera vibe. We stayed in the Orchard. It's the only room with a private jacuzzi, and it has a three hole putting green, which my hubby loved. You get a complimentary breakfast, and they serve lunch and drinks. We loved lounging on the beds in the cabanas once the sun went down. The June weather was perfect. Sunny during the day to swim and cool enough to hang out at either of the two firepit areas. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. I definitely recommend staying here or Talavera. Both are uniquely different, but they both feel like you are swept away into another place and not in the desert.

We had an excellent long getaway at Dive recently. We had our flight down to Palm Springs cancelled last minute and had to scramble to find a way out there. Dive was very accommodating to our last minute changes and assured us we'd make it work. The grounds were beautifully cared for with lots of places to sit and relax in the sun. We enjoyed breakfast by the pool each morning. It was a simple menu of yogurt, granola, fruit, and croissants. Simple, but it gave us an easy way to wake up slowly and start our day. The pool was absolutely fabulous and heated up enough to actually be comfortable to swim in. The hot tub was wonderful too and we enjoyed taking late night dips in the evening when the temps were cool. Rooms were small and simple but well designed. No TVs, so perfect if you are looking for a place to unplug. Our favorite part was how quiet it was on the property. With only 11 rooms, it made the weekend feel like our own private getaway. Highly recommend for a splurge weekend in Palm Springs!

What a weekend getaway gem in Palm Springs. The ambiance and design of this boutique hotel is fantastic. We stayed for a couple days over the weekend and can say the experience was 10/10. Rooms were clean and decorative. Common areas were a vibe. Breakfast was delicious. Best of all, the service provided here made the experience that much better. We had Cesar as a host who went above and beyond for us. Cesar we are very appreciative of you and thank you for making this trip spectacular!

Exceeded our expectations! This wonderful gem is unassuming on the outside until you enter the gate and discover the beautiful paradise that awaits inside. So much love and care has gone into the grounds, the vibe is wonderful and the water feature adds to the tranquil experience. First come first serve pool side cabanas, a fire pit and very clean pool and jacuzzi. I haven't even got to the room yet! I mentioned when I booked that my husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. When we arrived our room had been upgraded to a suite, there was a rose petal walkway, a chilled bottle of wine and a card from the hotel wishing us a happy anniversary! So special! The room is clean, artfully decorated and the bed is so comfy. My husband also loved the day bed and enjoyed a nap. We loved our peaceful stay at the Dive and will definitely be returning in the future.

The Dive is so beautiful for a small boutique hotel. The layout of the orchard area was magical and felt secluded. The cabanas were spacious that fit about 5 people. My friends and I stayed in the Paris suite that had our very own private patio and entrance from the inner hotel. The suite was so beautiful that the girls seriously could not stop taking pictures the whole weekend that we were there. There was a little miscommunication prior to checking in, but the managers were very communicative and we worked it all out. We had plans for dinner and bike riding in downtown Palm Springs, but we never left the hotel because we had all that we needed there. Thank you to the wonderful staff that made our stay so worth it!

Me & my husband had THE BEST time here! We searched around for weeks trying to decide on a hotel for this last weekend.. our 5th Anniversary! Super happy that we chose The Dive! I was sooo impressed with our room, the staff, the complimentary breakfast, and the grounds! and a spa by the pool!! Pretty rare to find a good spa in Palm Springs! We will 100% be back!

I loved this place. If you are looking for quiet, relaxing and bohemian place - this small hotel is for you. I found it very nice and chill. They serve nice breakfast and have drinks. Day time cool music at the pool and everyone is loyal and respectful to each other's privacy

Relaxing and quiet pool environment with a great playlist.

On 1/1, while using the hot tub on site, the chlorine stripped the dye right out of the fabric of my swimsuit within about 10 minutes. By the next morning, my partner's swim shorts were also bleached and permanently damaged. The photos speak for themselves - this was severe chemical damage, not normal wear. While we were at the pool that day, a staff member told us the hot tub had been chlorinated that morning. Two of our personal items were ruined after a single use following same-day maintenance. The total replacement cost for my swimsuit alone is $240. Fabriv damage occurring within minutes is commonly associated with significantly elevated chlorine levels, not normal use. Given how quickly the dye was stripped from our swimwear, this raised serious concerns about whether the facilities were safe for guests to be using at that time. What's far more upsetting than the damage itself is the hotel's lack of response. We reported this while still on property and followed up multiple times afterward. Management was dismissive, denied responsibility, and told us to take it up with Booking.com. Since then, Booking.com has attempted multiple times to contact the hotel on our behalf and the property has not responded at all. Accidents happen. Equipment issues happen. But refusing to acknowledge a clear problem, deflecting responsibility, and then completely ignoring repeated attempts to resolve it is unacceptable. The lack of accountability and communication is what truly ruined this experience.

It's fine, it's clean, it's nice. First the staff, everyone is great. Very friendly, helpful, informative. So no problems there. So I think it's the management and the operator of the hotel. Inside the rooms, even after a recent renovation, it's just fine. There's nothing noticeable and there's nothing I'll think about or mention as a great part of the room. Everything is fine. During conferences or events, they may close certain parts of the hotel to other guests. That happened to me but didn't affect my impression of the hotel. I did speak with front desk to get some fees waived due to facilities being closed to non-conference guests. The other thing is with this resort fees, there's nothing worth any value included. So they advertise fitness facility and internet. That is basic and should be included in the rate, not resort fee. If you want to use the sauna in the spa, that's another $50 day pass fee on top of the resort fee. I understand other hotels do this but I am not into normalizing this. This is more a practice in the US, when you travel to Asia and Europe, saunas are at least included. Fees on top of rates on top of fees is a continuing practice at US hotels that I will be calling out and reflecting in reviews and to hotel staff. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The decor is that of a mid century modern and is a really cozy quadrangle set up. The interior feels homey and the property is set up like an air bnb with shared amenities. They play 1950s music all day on speakers throughout the complex, it creates that vintage feel but can get repetitive after a few days. Lounge with tables, board games, travel brochures, couches, fire place, coffee and tea, and industrial kitchen for use during your stay. (Old reviews mention happy hour, breakfast, snacks, etc. these are no longer offered but why not just bring your own?) Each room has microwave and mini fridge. Outdoor gas fire pit for use. The pool is small but has a deep end 8ft which is nice. There are pool noodles and some tubes to use. The hot tub is spacious and powerful jets. We stayed in the Hawaiian surf room, loved the theme it was so cute and felt like a tropical getaway. The shower is small but functional. Good AC unit with a remote control and ceiling fan. Surfboard coffee table and wicker love seat add to the tropical feel. Overall this was a nice private getaway. You can be left alone to relax! If you need anything you can text the hotel and someone replies super quick in my experience. The hotel feels very secure with codes needed to enter the complex and security cameras at the entrance and surrounding the complex. (Probably for management to check and make sure everything is running smoothly). I would stay here again in a heartbeat and I have stayed at a few different boutique hotels in the area. This would be a top choice! Please realize this is an older complex and it does show some wear and tear but come on the building is probably 100 years old or somewhere close to that. If you are expecting a sterile, high end, resort feel for your stay this is not your place... but otherwise this is a great choice! I couldn't help but feel bad for the owners with all of the really bad reviews on here because that was truly not my experience. I left off one star because there are definitely areas of improvement that could be made but not enough to ruin my experience.

There are 10 rooms available and each one is a different theme in the 1950s. I stayed for two nights in the Crooners room and I enjoyed my stay a lot. When I arrived, Tim, the inn keeper assisted me with my room keys and showing me around the property. My room was decorated with the Rat Pack and I loved it. All rooms are a maximum of two people with a hot tub, refrigerator with water, microwave, and coffee maker, air conditioning, and DVD player. If you'd like, bring a DVD and popcorn to enjoy during your stay. The bed was pretty comfortable. There were more than enough pillows which I'm guilty of using more than one pillow while I sleep. I love how the comforter was linen on the outside, but cozy and warm on the inside. The Crooners room has two sinks, but I only used one. There is happy hour everyday at 5pm by the pool or communal area with snacks and beer or wine. During my stay there were chips and salsa and the following day was veggies with dip, with of course a drink of choice. Really nice touch added to my stay. It's been a while since I have stayed in a bed and breakfast and I love the homeyness here. Breakfast is served in the communal dining area with hand sanitizer provided. The three-course breakfast starts with a fruit smoothie, a fruit parfait and a hot breakfast. For breakfast they served blueberry pancakes with sausage and the following day it was quiche with artichoke hearts and potatoes. I loved the service here so much. You sit at a table and they serve the food to you. The pool is open 24 hours will pool floaties available to use as well. Another thing I like about this place is that because there aren't many people (max 40 people at a time) it is highly likely you will get the pool to yourself. When I checked out and left the property I told my husband I would enjoy staying here again. I really enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend you stay here too.
