Studios that have recorded Jay Z or Kid Rock, etc. I've paid all types of prices from $20/hr to $125/hr. Many studios that have great equipment yet the engineers know nothing! After getting frustrated with a previous studio who during my session would leave and take smoke/drink breaks and still charge me, I began looking elsewhere. I came across Metro37 on Craigslist and said to myself, "why bother." Yet I gave them a call anyways. After speaking to them I set a day to come record for a few hours to test it out and I haven't been anywhere else! The sound was amazing, studio from outside looked small but is very big and very well kept! Has many separate rooms including a live instrument room. The engineer took his time and provided me with an excellent mix. I even sent the mix to a studio in Tennessee where I have friends at who asked, "who mixed this? This is an awesome mix." I didn't feel like a customer here. I felt relaxed, not rushed and the engineer even gave input to my music and made small changes that made a huge difference! I've been to so many studios that just hit record and sit back and drain your wallet. But here they worked with me, answered any questions, helped make changes to music etc. Just an awesome experience with amazing, top notch quality and very good price!
