As tasty as it was unhealthy though I'd imagine from the thick rich taste, but nonetheless, amazing. The decor is great and I enjoyed sitting in for a few a people watching inside the restaurant and through the window. I really like the concept here, but reading other reviews indicates that maybe they don't use it to the full potential. I absolutely love American Diners as they take me back to my glory days in the states, so I do hope that when I come back to try the food they've made a few improvement as I would love this to become my new spot when I need my Yank-fix. Come on Infamous Diner, step up to the plate.

I popped back last week to try them out at lunch time and to see if it was as much fun as the launch night. I ordered a red pepper houmous, avocado and montaray jack cheese toasted sandwich, or 'grilled cheese' sandwich as the americans would call it. It wasn't as cheesy as I had expected, maybe my mind has been warped by that of Northern Soul Grilled Cheese, just around the corner. My friends ordered a hot dog and a burger, both of which were good. I like this place, and will be back to try their American breakfasts, but compared to so many other eateries in Manchester and in the NQ it just wasn't as great as the hype. But, still worth going!

I'd been eating a lot of unhealthy foods so it was really nice to get a smoothie and a vegetarian full English (but I did get the black pudding on the side). Ironically the coffee machine was broken but my spirit wasn't! Plus I don't really like coffee anyway so it didn't matter. The staff were all super nice (not a requirement obvi but it's nice) and the food was really tasty! The interior was nice too very maximalist vibes and it reminded me of something I'd see in LA. Overall a great place to get breakfast

Very friendly ostess took my order and I had my food in less than 15 minutes (this was after the breakfast/brunch rush so they weren't super busy). I got the taco truck fries which while very spicy & garlicky were amazing. I also got the Eggs in Purgatory whoch were out of this world amazing. The hot honey toast was a perfect vehicle for mopping up the sauce. Hoping I get to come back again!!

McDonald's is a restaurant which needs no introduction, they're everywhere, in the UK, USA and…read moreeverywhere in between, rumor has it they even colonized the moon, now back to all seriousness, this is a drive-thru store on Bury New Road. It can be quite difficult to get in, being on a small retail estate with a few independent shops, right near a Tesco. I came here in the evening, at about 7:30 - 8pm so I can't really comment on service, as it was simply a few staff working, the night staff The store was quite busy for the time, with a few cars in the drive through. The menu was not displayed very clear, especially for the drinks. The staff didn't seem too helpful and only named one coffee, in the end I settled for a Vanilla latte,it was presented quite nice with cream and chocolate sprinkles, and for a Mcdonald's it wasn't bad either, but it wasn't Starbucks quality, but for the price and branding of Mcdonald's, I didn't expect that, as they certainly aren't a coffee shop in general and they certainly don't roast the beans here, as I'm aware! I also ordered some chips, they were a little bland, however they were still okay, the portion size for "medium" was quite large and they were quite hot. The staff remained unhelpful, and didn't tell me which coffee was which, even though I casually said it at a raised voice to my friend, while looking at the woman, hoping she'd listen to me and help me out, they were not really busy, they was no cars behind me, it might have been a night shift, but still it doesn't mean the staff have to be like walking zombies, and as helpful as sun tan lotion in the North Pole. This isn't a bad Mcdonald's branch for quality served and could definitely warrant 3 stars in the future, but as of now due to issues with getting in and out of the store and the staff being highly unhelpful, and the food still just being good and nothing better, I sadly can't go over 2 stars yet, but hopefully I can upgrade this store up to three in the future.

I personally find myself eating there when choice is limited but as it has always been there throughout my life I do have a little bit of a soft spot for it. My most recent visit was on a morning after the night before (when I was slightly hung over), I was hungry and McDonald's was one of the only local places that was open. I decided I would try the new bbq smokehouse burgers as they had been on all the adverts and, on the adverts at least, the looked pretty good. The service was fine, I think the staff at this particular McDonald's work pretty hard and are polite and pleasant, but the burgers themselves were nothing like the ones that are shown on the adverts. This seems to be an issue with a lot of fast food outlets and unfortunately leaves me feeling disappointed. The burgers did not look great and tasted quite bland. In spite of that I am sure I will be back at McDonald's at some point in the future as they are almost completely unavoidable but with the choice that is out three I really do think they need to up their game.
