This person talks a good talk. Paperwork incomplete and doesn't do things right. When provided with judges notes he stated he would correct the documents. Next court date paperwork had not been completed. Took the judges notes to him again and basically told me he would correct. 2 weeks later he had done nothing and proceeds to tell me that it wasn't his job to correct the deficiencies that it should be on the attorney for the other side. All in all I had to redo all the paperwork and correct all the deficiencies in order to be compliant. He doesn't return calls, doesn't return texts. Cost $1900 got crap service and refusal to correct errors. I wouldn't waste your money on a company that refuses to do their job. Get this he tells me I have to pay him more money because of his mistakes. Put the ad in the wrong paper and telling me I need to pay for it. Told me to call him this morning and guess what no answer like before. read more

Nick was very helpful and knowledgeable. Got straight to what needed to be done. Location was convenient and service was excellent.

I was very fortunate to find Nick. He quickly understood my situation and came up with the best solution for me. My case was unique, and not many people were prepared to handle it or even knew how -- but Nick did. He was confident, experienced, and reassuring from the very beginning. He handled everything with professionalism, care, and efficiency, and within just a few weeks, my case was resolved. I'm truly glad I trusted him and would highly recommend his services to my family and friends. read more

He cost me 1k in unnecessary fees on top if his fee and he did basically nothing. I ended up paying another person to do it right. Total waste of my time and money. read more

This man is the most incompetent person there is. Same paper work wrong 3 times . Said the courts don't know what they're talking about and refused to correct errors ! Never call him! He's a idito and I'll be reversing charges read more

This guy does not respond to voicemails or text. I waited I went to him to complete my QDRO documents. I gave him chance after chance for over a year of waiting phone and texts still nothing but excuses and failed "I'll get it done give me a couple of weeks I just hired another assistant". As a small business owner he is if you can't get it done BE UP FRONT so you don't waste anyone else's time like you did mine. Yes got a refund after a year and a half of waiting. Don't WASTE YOUR TIME! HE WILL NOT COME through !!! read more

My daughter hired you back in September of 2024 to handle the paperwork and filing for "petition for conservatorship" for my special needs granddaughter. I took the day off to accompany them both to court in October. The judge said the filings were done incorrectly and recommended a continuance for us to get things corrected. My daughter has called and texted and heard NOTHING back. She is a hard working single mom who paid you $1000.00 You were referred directly by Alta Regional during my granddaughters yearly review. I am so disappointed and my daughter just doesn't have the time or energy to deal with it, she is just disillusioned by the process. We will both be in court again tomorrow morning at 9am asking for another continuance until after the Holidays as were still looking for assistance to get this done correctly... read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Paid my fee to have a simple will done. Nick Ditaranto took my money and never showed for our scheduled appointment nor did he return Any of my Text or Phone calls. Do Not Use this guy. I will be contacting the California Paralegal Department to file a complaint and moving forward with other legal matters with this company. read more

I wish I had done this review sooner. It seems there are some unhappy people on here and some fake bad reviews but please read mine. I was slightly embarrassed to post a review to call myself out on needing legal help but I rather help someone make the right choice. I have been referring many people Nicks way over the last 8 years. He has done two divorces with me. One dealing with children and the other dealing with shared assets. I paid reasonable money that basically took all my anxiety and worries away and I didn't have to lift a finger. He did an amazing job so much that I don't even remember the whole process of my divorces. He answered when I followed up and my papers were served. I can't remember too well but I think there were two options for serving papers, one was for hand delivery and the other certified mail. I would definitely recommend going to Nick with your legal document needs. Im not sure why someone didn't just go to the office if they couldn't get ahold of him. Thank you Nick for helping me both times! I will continue to refer my friends. :). read more

Accurate and affordable legal document preparation Nick saved us 3K in attorney fees Why use LegalZoom and risk forfeiture of your case by court rejecting inaccurate paperwork? I would use this service again. read more

I'm sorry for those folks that had a bad experience. But I have been doing business with Nick for years and I have never I mean never ever experienced any issues with timeliness. He speaks fast and you need to listen. If you are a poor listener then take a pen and note pad. He is a busy guy but knows his stuff! Go to a lawyer with a fancy degree and he will give you less information charge you more and you want to talk about not getting a phone call back...well they definitely don't give a dam and will charge you by the minute anytime you call. Nick works hard and has given me information without charging me a cent. I have delt with him on many legal issues and he's amazing and I wouldn't go to anyone else even if I had the money for a high flying attorney he's the only one I trust! read more

Ditaranto Document Services - Process Servers Near Me - Citrus Heights, California

I cannot speak highly enough about Ditaranto Legal Services. Specifically "Nick". Professional, efficient, timely and communicated with us during the entire legal services which he provided. I would recommend using his legal services to anyone who needs assistance! read more

Nick did a great job to settle my foreign property issue by his legal experience.

Nick and his team have helped me a few times now complete legal documents for my son. I've used others in the past but none have been as responsive, I will always use them when I have a legal document I need help with. I've also recommended my friends, clients, and family to Nick Ditaranto and they have all come back and told me how happy they are with his service. It's literally saved me thousands of dollars over just the past couple years versus using an attorney. read more

This guy over charged me. He took five minutes to file divorce papers and charged me over $800. You can go to the courthouse and do everything he did for pennies. I wouldn't trust him to do anything after that!!! read more

I had this company send out paperwork for child support modification. A couple of weeks passed before I received the packet from the court.....but, I also received another packet in my ex wife's name. It's impossible to get ahold of this guy. His voicemail is always full and he never picks up his phone. When I finally got ahold of him he said he would look into it but never gave me an update. Another week passes and I get a letter saying my ex was served by mail...but she never received the packet. I tried again to get ahold of him a couple days before the court date but he never responded. Well, I actually received a text that said sorry missed your call, what can I do for you? I responded that I needed to cancel the court date but he never called me back! I work in construction and leave to work early. I was in a panic about canceling the court date. I left a message at 6:30 am. When he responded he was totally rude and told me don't ever call him that early. Don't use this flake. It was a waste of 425.00!and now have to file again read more

I am editing this review to make it clear and concise. This place was an extreme let down and he did not get many things right that somebody doing his job should know. My papers were rejected due to him/Ditaranto Services putting the wrong last name. As a result, the documents were improperly served due to his error. In addition to other mistakes that needed to be re-done, Nick didnt want to fix his mistakes. There is another document that needs to be re-done too, but his failure to do so resulted in the judge postponing to another court date because of this. I have to spend extra money now to pay someone else to redo ALL Ditaranto Services failed to do properly. He has threatened me to sue me if i post a "lie". All this is true, and he knows it. Yet, he still is threatening me publicly. I am unhappy with Ditaranto services and practices and therefore I would not recommend it to friends or family. Zero stars. read more

I had been trying for two years to get divorced on my own but with the other party not responding and me having a day job it was going nowhere. I acquired this document service through a friend of mine who had a great experience using the company. I explained my situation to them how I had three separate cases for something that could have been done through one filing and he was able to consolidate everything into one county and complete my divorce for 400$ altogether. That included completion of divorce and a change of venue for my custody case. It was great. I wish I had known of this option sooner. I highly recommend this company! read more

THE WORST!!!! I should have read these reviews first!!! He has no idea what to do with legal documents and shouldn't be allowed to do what he is doing. I simply called from out of state to have him personally file papers in a probate case in Sacramento County. I was in a hurry and I mailed the paperwork overnight and sent extra funds hoping he would be compelled to rush everything. He lied and said he did not get the paperwork when the post office promised it would be there but the post office had proof of delivery. Then he used a court runner instead of going himself and I had asked for a call from the courthouse if there was any problem filing and instead he told me the runner said I had made lots of mistakes and the clerk wouldn't file them. The runner didn't get the papers back to him for a few days and then he mailed them back to me and the only thing wrong was a missing date that he could have written in and I needed to file a request for waiver of fees which I could have overnighted to him instead of waiting for mail back and forth. It was ridiculous!! There is more but please do not use this schmuck!! I CONSIDER HIM A CON ARTIST!!!! read more

The worst experience! If I could give 0 stars I would have. Nick is very unprofessional. Went to his location for assistance with divorce paperwork. Horrible communication, prices are ridiculous. Paper was filled out incorrectly. Provided false expectations. Encouraged additional paper work to be completed although it was not in my best interest. Communicated with my ex spouse more then myself, provided him paperwork that he shouldn't have being I was his client. I will continue to spread the word about the horrible service received. By all means stay away from this place! Very rude, hung up the phone on my during a conversation. Wish this man didn't get a dime of my money. Over 1200 dollars to have basic paper work filled out INCORRECTLY. Disgusting! read more

Before you spend your money here, think again. I used this guy and his service is TERRIBLE!!!!! He did not complet the paperwork, for my case, correctly or timely. He said he was going to refund my money and I had to literally harrass him for 3 weeks to do that. He is not a very good paraleagl and I am going to also file a complaint aganist him with the State as well as contacting CBS channel 13, Call Kurtis. I suggest you go somewhere else. read more

This guy is horrible, unprofessional and I was told by a attorney he should be under the supervision of an attorney. He took my money real fast but over a month later I'm still waiting on my services. He said he would complete the job however it was going to cost me an additional $100 which was never disclosed when I 1st went into the office. He shouldn't be able to do business at all, arrogant, chalky man! read more

This guy Nick is quick to return my initial call for consult and promised he would have my custody paperwork done in 1-2 days. After taking my info he took my $325 and sent me out the door. It is now March 13, 2015 and Placer County Court Family Law clerks said they have not received any mail or paperwork and my info is not in the system! Don't trust this man, he wouldn't return my calls or text messages and it's been 5 days. He is dealing with time sensitive matters and can care less. read more

I have been going to Nick for the past year to file papers for my custody case. He has helped me with filing the papers professionally without the legal fees for an attorney. He is reasonably priced. Professional and honest. He has helped me a few times and papers have always been filed in a timely manner. I would recommend Nick to anybody that needs help but can't afford an attorney read more

I have to agree he was very quick to return my call and get my money but after giving him the paperwork he was hard to get a hold of and when I finally did reach him and pick up my paperwork he barley explained to me how to fill out or anything he was very rude and very unprofessional I do not recommend him at all and also would just pay that extra to have someone else file for you. I'm honestly surprised he has not been reported I'm almost tempted to ask for my $150.00 back. read more

My ex and I hired him to complete our divorce. We had filed all the original documents, but needed assistance in what form to complete to finalize it. We paid quite a bit of money, provided Nick the documents of what we filed. He reviewed it and drew up documents, we went to get them notarized and the notary advised they were incorrect. We were able to fix it and turned back to him. About two weeks later, the court called me and said we were missing a form. I had to complete the form, have my ex sign it and resend to him to refile with the court. He advised us the final documents would come mid-October. After nothing came, I contacted him to see if he can confirm it was done since we both had not received anything. He simply advised me to call the court. I spoke to a rep at court who stated the forms were submitted without any prepaid envelopes to send me or my ex a copy of final paperwork. To get a copy I have to drive 4 hours to Sac and pay to photocopy them. I thought it may have been a small error-I contacted Nick back to advise-he simply stated he had mailed the prepaid envelopes and made no offer to assist either of us in getting our paperwork. read more

Nick is the most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with. His services are lousy and sloppy. He is never on time in answering my phone calls or emails regarding any request, sometimes never answering at all. I have had to hustle with him to charge me less than the unreasonable amount he asked of me to fix a simple mistake on my paperwork WHICH HE STILL HASN'T fixed regardless of my efforts to contact him and see if anything is in progress. He has stopped answering my emails & phone calls. In my opinion, he has NO BUSINESS being a paralegal aid let alone being in business. He is RUDE, UNORGANIZED, AND NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. I am going to file a complaint against him with the STATE. If you need to get things done, I suggest you go someplace else. read more

Nick took care of my child custody/support paperwork. He made it so easy and his customer service is very professional. Everything was done in a very timely manner. He even filed the paperwork for me to change my court date when I had previous arrangements schedule for the original scheduled court date. I have and will be referring my family and friends to Nick and his business. Absolutely the place to go for paralegal service!! read more
