Came here to do a hair trial for my wedding hair. I was booked over the phone and I had told them my wedding date. I get to the salon and chat with the lady they booked me with, but turns out she is on Vacation on my wedding day, so they scramble to find someone that would be available to do a mini hair trial and it was a disaster. Paid $40 with nothing to show for it other than photos. She told me all the things that she would do on the day but didn't bother booking another follow-up appointment to do a proper trial. I did not trust this as there was nothing to show for it and was all taken out at the end before leaving the salon because of how messy it looked. read more

This hair salon is like no other I have been to! I highly recommend it if you are looking to change hair stylists, are in the Thornhill Woods area for a short time and need your hair done for whatever reason, or just need a pick me up. I am not from the area, but I am thinking of permanently switching hair salons. The interior of this hair lounge was absolutely picturesque! One side of their lounge was brick wall and the other was hardwood wall. The way the location was set up made me feel like I was walking into a very welcoming and fancy spot! The atmosphere was just as wonderful! I felt right at home with the greetings I received from each of their staff, whom also each had wonderful senses of humour. The staff also offered me an espresso, latte, tea, water...etc. while I waited for my appointment. I felt like royalty, and that was just the beginning! I went for a wash and blow dry, but the owner Mickey took the time to also give me a cut that better suited me. This meant more than words can express, since I struggle with severe mental health. I have never had anyone explain to me in detail before why the hair style I walked in with did not match with my face shape. He made me feel so validated and seen! I struggle immensely with my image, so the fact that this man went above and beyond for me brought me to tears of joy during my appointment. Out of the goodness of his heart, he only charged me for a wash & style. Not only did I receive a nice and relaxing wash by Mickey's daughter, but I was also given a therapeutic hair cut & styling by a wonderful man. To walk into a place I thought was just a nice hair salon that was convenient for me to attend, without checking out their website, it was one of the best surprises I had ever walked into. I am looking at myself in a different way with my new hair style and so appreciative I met a man such as Mickey who did more for me than he probably is aware of. Again, I strongly recommend giving this place a try! You will not regret it! read more

I'm glad I discovered this place when I moved to Vaughan. It's my second time coming here and Freya has met the styles I look for. I am the type of person who would want to sport light hair, then change to dark. I do try my best to choose color styles that can be transitioned easily and Freya has given great advices you can trust. I always feel great about myself after she gives a final touch of hairspray to my hair. Besides she sports really awesome hairstyle herself! Came in for a balyage, left with orangey tiger stripe hair. they did not use toner and used dye all over my head, which left me with orange roots as well. Really disappointed and cannot recommend. read more
