He explained that I would be contacted in 48 to 72 hours to explain the process. I received text message from Hayden to go to your preferred body shop to get a quote for the repair. He explained they would bill Waves directly. A day after I dropped my vehicle off for repair I received an email the day after explaining Waves would not cover the repair to fix my new vehicle. Employees of Waves are making inaccurate statements so they don't have to cover the damage their equipment caused.

I looked around for someone to assist but could not find anyone. I waited about 5-10 mins and suddenly a girl with bright red hair and a tag that said Ash appeared. Right behind her was a man with dreads who also was in back with this girl & he appeared flushed & was cracking up. She was on her phone giggling & laughing. I asked how do I pay cash? I was told they don't usually accept cash but she took my money ($30) and told me to go ahead. There was another girl with dark hair & a ponytail that the girl Ash waved to & held up the cash to let me go through. She proceeded to scrub my car with the brush. & I continued through the car wash. I'm quite sure these new scratches on my car are from that brush, tbh. After completing my wash, I continued on my way. I got to thinking... where did my cash go? Why is this girl waving my money in the air? I really don't feel this was an honest transaction. I do not have a receipt to show my purchase either. Honestly the entire incident was shady & I will not return to this car wash. I will return to butler where they don't scratch my car & laugh at everything. Not to mention, I'm not sure what was going on in that back office but they were certainly not doing the job they were hired to do. No one was out there to make sure things were running properly. When I looked back I could see the girl with red hair pulling on the man with dreads clothing like she was trying to remove his shirt. Is this the correct behavior for a workplace? I'm not sure but maybe corporate should look into the actions of their staff before something serious happens. I won't be back but I wanted to at least make management aware of my experience....

Due to my location here in Mauldin, I ended up at the Butler car wash. Being a person of habit, I stayed with them for nearly 2 years. I could not regret it more! Waves is less $$ for SO MUCH MORE!!! The monthly packages are the way to go for sure. For the ultimate package, I pay more than $6 a month, less than at the Butler car wash and it includes double the advantages. The actual wash system is FAR superior! My vehicle comes through the wash much cleaner, much easier to wipe down due to less residual water, and the tire shine is no joke!! + They offer a tire shine done by hand after your wash to ensure you get that sexy lookin shine. On top of that, the tire shine from other wash places locally fades out to nothing in an hour or two. The tire shine I get at Wash ls still looks great 2 days later! Frankly, the 3-mile drive is quiet and peaceful, so I have come to really enjoy heading into Waves at the end of my shift. Dial my vehicle in with free vacuum, a high-pressure air hose to knock the water out of those sticky places, then a quick calming drive home for the night. I can not recommend this location more! Alex, Jason, and Lovina went out of their way to make my first few visits especially welcoming. I was pretty overwhelmed by the example of outstanding customer service. Especially in this time when our customer service expectations are becoming lower and lower. It is a wonderful change of pace to get this kind of customer service after being on the phone with an AI bot to get a simple task handled.

When explaining to the manager why I was cancelling, The "yeah whatever" turn around and wave as he walked away saying "sorry about that" was the the end for me. We live in a time when our expectations of customer service have become so low, we almost expect to get treated poorly and I am just over it. The wash is ok. The staff is ok. The entire process is ...ok. Having said all that I should thank them because as a result I found Waves Express carwash on Neely Ferry Rd, Just a 3 mile drive through quiet peaceful country roads to get a better monthly package, for $6 less a month! Super clean towels that are dry rather than 1/2 soaked every time. Same free vacuums and a high pressure air hose to clear our those unreachable places that always drip or leak. I am telling you the wash system is FAR superior. The tire shine at Butler Express lasts a couple hours. Waves---2 days. At the end of the day, If you want exceedingly better customer support, a much superior wash in every way possible. So many of the "do it yourself" washes are filthy with piles of dirt and trash around. Not here! The only thing that was confusing is that when you use a credit card, it puts a hold for $10 on your card no matter how many minutes you go. But the minimum charge is $3.50 for five minutes + of washing. I actually talked to the very friendly owner today and he advised me that that $10 charge that's pending is just a hold and I'll only be charged the $3.50. It's a lot more convenient to use a credit card then come in with tons of quarters. The quarter wash is $2.50; but only for 4 minutes. The $3.50 wash is almost 6 minutes, and you can renew before the timer expires. Highly recommend. His mother was right-- it is the best car wash in Greenville!
