Can we give this company a MINUS 100+???? This company has an ongoing history of NOT paying their cleaners. The owner is shady as the day is long. She allows her cleaners to drive company vehicles without valid drivers licenses', she charges the cleaners astronomical amounts for the use of said vehicles. My daughter worked EXTREMELY hard for this company for over one month, and has yet to receive any type of payment, several cleaners I've spoken with have stated they have to BEG for their pay, to add insult to injury, once the owner finally coughs up a check, the owners own bank won't cash them, due to INSUFFICIENT FUNDS. So, please know consumers, that there is a pathetic owner getting rich off the backs of mainly, single mothers trying to work hard. To say nothing of the fact that if the owner is this shady, you can imagine the caliber of some of the people she is sending into your homes. People like her give America a REALLY bad name. I had an appointment with another cleaning coming in St Paul and they didn't show up on the day they were supposed to which really sucked because it was the week I was moving and really needed the carpets cleaned. Other places couldn't fit me in by my move date, but then I got ahold of Distinctive Cleaning from Bloomington. I was concerned at first because of other reviews and how much cheaper they were then other people, but I am really glad I went with them. They were on time, friendly, and did and excellent job cleaning our carpets! We had one pet stain on our upstairs but they noticed, gave it extra attention, and got rid of it. I called Distinctive Cleaning about 6 months ago to receive cleaning services. They were out to my house the nest day, and have been every two weeks since then. They always do a great job! My cleaner is wonderful, and the office staff are great too! I have read other peoples posts, and I have to say, I don't see how they can say these things. There has to be more to the story than they are saying! Distinctive Cleaning as I know it always takes care of their customers! I hired Distinctive Cleaning for my wife after we had our first child this November. My wife was very excited. We were very happy with the service we received and the manager who stopped out just to assure our satisfaction. The staff we spoke with in the office is pleasant and accommodating and we are happy with the cleaner we have been sent each time as well. We have had them out three times now and each time we have been pleased wit the level of work and the overall service. We are on a biweekly schedule with them. We have used Distinctive Cleaning for the last year on a monthly basis. They have been on time for every visit. We have used other cleaning services in the past and have had to switch because of their inability to come at the time they tell us. We have not had that problem with Distinctive Cleaning. We have 2 dogs that shed a ton and the house looks fantastic after they have been there. All the employees that have come to the house have been extremely friendly and accommodating, even asking us if we had specific areas or concerns that we would like them to focus on. My grandma passed last month. We saw it coming, hoever, no one wanted to be the one to go through her belongings and clean her house after, see, grandma was a keeper of things! She had a problem not throwing things away. So we called around and found Distinctive Cleaning and took the chanceon asking if they by chance would be willing to do that kind of cleaning. I called multiple services for quotes and they were the only one that would give me an estimate over the phone. They had a great holiday special, and got me in for a next day appointment. Distinctive Cleaning cleaned the carpets at our in office in Maple Wood today and did really good work. Our entrance is very high traffic and had taken a big hit this winter with salt but they got it really clean. Because the carpet is so short other companies have had trouble trying to get their scrubber to work well but these guys seemed to have no problem. They even cleaned our entry rugs for free which saved us a couple times of having to have them get picked up by the rug company like we usually do. read more

So I gave called up Distinctive and they sent over a wonderful cleaner named Stacey. She was so pleasant and so respectful of my home.
