Our driver did not seem concerned about client service, and did not show any resourcefulness when navigating busy roads. And when I called to provide feeback that we were not happy with our experience, did I get anything resembling an apology? NO. The person I spoke to was argumentative and did not care that we had a bad experience. Also, she, like the driver, apparently does not realize that there is more than one way to get from Point A to Point B.

We had 11 persons in our family and all with a lot of luggage. Anthony was so great that he even picked up my daughter, who came in an hour later and on a different airline. Their professionalism was excellent and their vehicles were outstanding and very clean. This was our first family trip to New Orleans and they made us feel like family. We can't wait to go back and use their service again. I am so glad that Barnard Transportation blew me off and would not call or confirm my reservation with them. It made me worried, so I decided to call another company, this is how I found Xcel transportation and I am glad I did. In fact, we thought it had to be a joke. This company should be ashamed of themselves for what they sent us. The bus was spray painted black. Poorly spray painted at that. Entirely unprofessional. We could immediately tell we needed to prepare for what was inside. The inside had and astroturf floor and particle board nailed haphazardly to the bottom of the seats. The particle board was rough and caused the fabric of the girls dresses to snag. The air conditioning on the bus barely worked, and we melted on the bus until the sun went down. The sound system had difficultly staying connected without manual intervention. The bus doors kept getting stuck making it difficult to exit the bus which was an incredible safety hazard. On top of it all, the bus broke down at one of the stops and caused a 10-15 min delay while the issue was being addressed. During that time, we sat on the bus with no air conditioning. I am shocked this company would send such a hazard out for consumers, and that they would charge the amount we paid for this wreck of a bus. This vehicle was in terrible condition and should be condemned!!! I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Beware!!!! Do not give this business a penny of your money.

First "bus" to arrive was a 20 passenger hotel airport shuttle-style van. Not what we ordered. Spoke with Shaquille who admitted it was his mistake; he would have the driver switch it out and the warehouse was only 5 minutes away. Thirty minutes later, a black "prison bus" pulls into the parking lot. Literally spray-painted black. No A/C, no TVs, no sound system, no leather seating. Jankiest thing on wheels. The entrance door didn't even work properly. Spoke with Shaquille again. He offered a paltry (and insulting) $300 off or he would just cancel. I (generously) offered to pay half the original price, and he refused. Honestly, in good conscience, we could not put 23 high school students on this rattle-trap with particle-board seats -- literally particle board -- and no A/C. Avoid this business at all costs. Just one family's opinion, YMMV.
