From the time I placed my order til I got to the Resturant was only about 10 minutes but my food was ready and waiting! The girl who gave me my food wasn't overly friendly or helpful, but she did her job and really that's all I could have asked for. I can't speak much of the establishment itself since I didn't dine in but I did observe when I walked in and it appeared clean and not horribly busy at the time. There were a number of both booths and tables to sit at. My food was piping hot when I got back to my room. The sandwich was delicious. Crispy toast and the meat was super tender and flavorful. The fries were just fries in my opinion. Not a lot you can do with them. Overall my experience was a good one and if you're looking for food while staying at Comfort Inn, this is a great place to get some!

They just threw them on the doorstep and that's not it. The baker is Lori and she made the process so easy with her outgoing personality and knowledge. We were done in 4 mins and I feel like I found a new baker with class. We got the combo with Chef Q's Madison Smashburger, & pretzel bites with beer cheese. Our thought was to just split it...we ended up getting another burger because it was SO GOOD! I struggle eating beef, but I'm pretty sure I could eat these several times a week! The sauce, the meat and even the bun, combined to make the best burger I think I have ever eaten. Appetizer bruschetta was stale bread with the equivalent of italian "salsa" to build your own...."stuffed mushrooms" were button mushrooms not cleaned with corn bread dressing on top served as a casserole dish. Green beans were obviously reheated out of a can. Food was not seasoned. Would not recommend. Will not use again.

In addition to the fact that they were professional, friendly, and easy to work with, the sandwiches and potato salad were absolutely divine. (I grew up eating my mother's potato salad, and I always thought it was fantastic, but Rennie's was out-of-this-world good. Sorry, Mom.) Even though I live in Indianapolis, I will contact Just Rennie's for all future business lunches/dinners that I need to have catered in Evansville and southwestern Indiana. I've had their catered food on a couple of occasions and everything....I mean EVERYTHING I've tried from them has been fresh, flavorful, and fantastic! Their cookies are locally famous and to die for. You can even order them online to ship directly to you! They are not exactly cheap, but trust me - you will not care when you try them. Best cookies ever - and this coming from a non-sweet tooth kind of girl. They also now have a lunch counter downtown which is amazing, although kind of pricey. Totally worth it though. I used to stop here to pick up lunch when I felt like treating myself. Potato salad is great, as is everything else. Yum yum yum! Try Rennie's and I promise you won't regret it. Seriously. At least GET THE COOKIES!
