Her food is fresh, flavorful, healthy, interesting, seasonal, and beautifully presented. It requires a minimal amount of prep beyond heating, a few veggie and/or herb chops, and voila! The portions are surprisingly hearty, and I always have leftovers, whether I am ordering for 1 or 2. Customer service is always on point, responsive, professional. I'm so grateful we have a local answer to some of the bigger box meal delivery services. While I enjoyed those in the past, I feel better knowing my food is coming from the local community, instead of mass shipped across the US. Very grateful for Kate's Plate every Monday when the food is delivered to my front door. I can't say enough great things, other than thank you!

While that seemed a little pricey, it also sounded super good and filling, so I ordered it. To be honest, I was disappointed with my first bite-- it was just lacking salt and some seasoning. However, I looked back at the counter and realized there were several shaker bottles of different seasoning salt blends so that you could season your food to your liking. That changed the game. After a sprinkle of the seafood blend, the potatoes were delicious! They had both spicy and regular dill sauce. I got both-- both were great, but I preferred the spicy. The burger was very good. It was cooked as ordered and came on a lightly toasted bun. The burger was separate from the bun and you had to assemble it yourself. It also came with some potato chips. The onion rings were passable but a bit oily. The chili is a full-bodied chili. It is thick and dense. The order came with no condiments for the burger but there was a tangy sauce in a cup for the onion rings. I enjoyed the burger and the chili, but the onion rings were average at best. The second time I ordered was the Philly Cheesesteak with no lettuce and no tomatoes. I also ordered a side of fries. The Philly Cheesesteak was really good and came on a nice bun. The french fries seemed overcooked, was oily, and average at best. The sandwiches at this restaurant are very good. The buns seem top-notch and the sandwiches are flavorful. The fried sides, though, are just average. I would give the sandwiches a 4, the french fries and onion rings a 2. That's why I give Zinks 3 stars. I also would've liked some condiments for the sandwiches and fries. I wish the chili would've had crackers too. I feel the Philly cheesesteak should've included some kind of side. The burger did but the cheesesteak did not. I recommend but I would pass on the fries and onion rings.

I think this one comes out of the Bravos at the Dayton Mall. Their hamburgers looked good so I ordered one. Unfortunately, it was ok. I felt that the bun was dry and overall the hamburger was somewhat tasteless. Their menu said that they had a special sauce, but there was no flavor that came through. I am not convinced that these type of restaurants will be able to manage quality control. With so many good hamburger places, I do not think I will give this one a second shot.
