All the teachers there are fantastic but our favorite has to be Mrs Carrick in third grade. She went out of her way to see to every individual child's needs and at times when my kids were struggling she really helped them get through it and they not only loved going to school again but became grade A students. I've never seen such kindness & generosity in a teacher. She is definitely an asset to the school.

My son started Kindergarten at Merryhill Elementary this school year. We can't say enough good…read morethings about this school. In terms of academics, we are overjoyed with how much hands on learning he is doing in his own classroom and the specialty classes. Most days he comes home with marker, paint, and glue on his uniform -- a sure sign of a great day. The curriculum challenges and interests him and he's encouraged to use his imagination. The ratio of teachers to students is wonderful. When he needs help a teacher is available to guide him. But what really makes this school special is the people. From the moment you walk in you are met with smiling faces, a friendly greeting, the feeling you and your kid belongs. You can see that the teachers and the administrators are happy to be there and that feeling extends to the kids. To see my son skipping in and out of school is magical. The school becomes part of your child's and your community. There are lots of special days and activities to get the kids excited to be a part of something. If you are seeking a great education, a place your child will feel safe, and most importantly a place your child will be happy give this school a look.

You can tell word of life cares, pay attention, and respect each and every one of us who enter. If you are looking for a solid, well established, truly anointed church this is the one. We stretch hands and all connect as one in christ Jesus. No other Church has made me feel the Holy spirit until Word of Life. Not to speak ill of other congregations but Word of Life does not feel "cookie cutter" or any need to be perfect before stepping into this Holy Building. The Band is phenomenal and has SOUL. They do their very own renditions of gospel songs and they are a treat, fresh and new each visit. Pastor Andy has brought me to tears of joy on one occasion, I felt so reborn in like a brand new baby. Amen

I truly appreciate the communication from his teacher, the IEP team, and everyone involved. They have always made me feel like we were working together to help my son thrive. These events make learning exciting, and my son genuinely loves going to school. I feel incredibly grateful that my son was selected through the lottery to attend Somerset Academy Lone Mountain. Thank you to all of the teachers and staff for making his kindergarten year such a positive and memorable experience. We are excited for first grade!

My baby attends this school and she will not be returning next year. Today they went on a field trip where they walked to the Santa Fe to watch a movie. All the kids parents and teachers where there walking with the kids. After the teacher which I won't say her name but posted almost 20 pictures of all the kids sitting down eating their popcorn and having a good time. My baby wasn't in not one of those pictures to the point I had to call the school and ask was she even there. That upset me so bad and really there is nothing they can say to make me understand this. I would never send my kid back to this school I thought I was sending her to a good school but this school is not it. I'm very disappointed.
