We arrived here around 3:30pm that there was a presentation about 17th century medicine at the back of the village. We got the map and ran over to the hospital location. We waited a bit for more people. The presentation was quite interesting and understandable. We couldn't believe how bad the medical knowledge was in old days. It took about 15 minutes. Then we went back to the entrance for the movie. It was like the introduction about the old days of wonda and the history. Then the garage door was opened, we could start our journey. We could follow the numbers on the map or we could pick and choose to visit, somehow we were running of the time. So we picked some spots to check on. The cemetery and the church, garden, iron shop... some of the places do have one or two staff could tell you more information. We must say you need more time to spend in the village, 1 or 2 hours are not enough. This place is worth to come again.

There are a ton of outdoor and physical activities to be done at Blue Mountain but if you need a…read morerelaxing break, Crock A Doodle is the perfect place to drop in. You don't need an appointment to come in and paint. The only times you might not be able to walk-in is if the entire studio is full or if it's too close to closing as you won't have enough time to paint your piece! We were asked how long we would be staying to determine whether we'd be able to pick up our masterpieces in person or whether they needed to be shipped out. All the prices are listed on the bottoms of the pieces so you can browse and determine what fits your budgets. We got a quick lesson on how the paint will come out compared to what it looks like in the bottle and how to use the fine tipped bottles for writing. The entire experience is very calming. It was quiet in there and the painting process was almost therapeutic. They have take home kits too so if you're hooked, you can bring one home with you and have your piece glazed and fired at another Crock A Doodle location.

We ended up buying some homemade pies, a quiche, and few frozen steaks. We liked strawberry-rhubarb and raspberry pies, the quiche was ok, but we were really disappointed with steaks. We got NY strip loin beef steaks, a Ribeye bison steak and a lamb steak. The lamb steak was ok, but the bison and beef steaks were not cut properly and were quite chewy. Considering that the prices for everything in store are 50% more than in regular supermarket (see prices for steaks at the picture), we were clearly disappointed with our visit.
