That's where you find SEA Divers scuba diving Now add two of the nicest and most genuine people you will have the pleasure of meeting. That is Erica and Ashton, the owners of SEA Divers Scuba. I finished my initial certification with Ashton here. I heard so many good things about him as an instructor diver that I drove 10 hrs from NC to do it with him. Totally worth it! I could not ask for a more patient, knowledgeable individual. He is epic at making students feel comfortable and makes sure they are fully trained and understand the basics to start their lifelong dive journey. There is no way to leave here with a certification and not be ready to hit the water with just enough confidence to know this is a sport that takes lots more diving to master, but feel good about getting it. The dive shop is well stocked and they only sell name brand quality equipment but I challenge you to find any shop that does it at a better price. They will ship so ask here before spending somewhere else If you are a diver, a wanna be diver, or just wondering about diving and you are in within an hour of this shop you will do yourself a disservice by not stopping in. Hubby (already certified) & I went in just to inquire about classes, I was extremely concerned about the swimming test because I'm not a very good/confident swimmer. After talking with Todd, we decided I should try a swim lesson in their on site pool with Kada. Within an hour I was confident enough to sign up for my e-learning & set a class date. I won't lie when say I was extremely nervous about the whole thing. Day 1 was in the pool (our class size was 6) & what an amazing pair of instructors we had! Josh & Kada truly made the whole process confidence building while assuring skills are achieved & well practiced. Day 2 was out at Morrison Springs working on newly acquired skills. Day 3 was supposed to be a boat dive however weather conditions were not good so we went back to Morrison Springs to finish up our open water certification. Honestly, I don't think I've ever had better instructors when learning a new skill before, Josh & Kada absolutely made the whole experience wonderful.

I took their Beginner Open Water Class and left feeling well trained and confident that I can safely dive. Anchors Away is also awesome because they encourage customers to return for fun diving events like underwater pumpkin carving and boat diving trips. It's not just a school or a dive shop, but a place to learn and network with fellow divers and make new friends. Also, the staff are actively engaged with community service and volunteering, not to mention it is a veteran run business. I highly recommend Anchors Away Scuba.

I was comfortable, or I wouldn't have booked the dive. My suggestion...if you're new to the sport, this may not be your dive shop to book through. If you're an experienced diver, don't waste your money. The dives are boring, because you're so confined to any one item. First dive, we could look at an old metal structure that was a bridge. Wow...whoop-to-do. The second dive was better, but I guess I'm spoiled by the coral reefs in the Mexico region.

The ladders are actually long enough that you can easily get a foot on the bottom rung. The crew was great and very helpful. Met some nice folks on the boat as well. As a bonus, we were blessed with some really nice weather and great visibility. These guys will be on my list of dive boats for sure.
