It has soccer fields, a baseball diamond, tennis courts and a park. They also have a full 18 hole Frisbee golf course. The best part is the Meeting and event spaces. Its the perfect place for really any kind of event. I have it booked already for my wedding and reception. It has a very open and airy feel with the white walls in the barn room. There is also the really fun Silo room which we are using for pictures. Almost everything you need to know about the meeting rooms is on the website. A quick call to the administrative office can answer any other questions. The staff there is really friendly and extremely helpful. They also have many great ideas to make your event great. I strongly recommend this to anyone that needs a meeting and event space. You can rent out one of the picnic areas in addition to the indoor meeting space. That is what we are doing for the ceremony. Extra Tip: Walk around the property, there is a ton of great picture moments, look at the fairway on hole 1 and 17 of the frisbe golf course. There is a great picture perfect moment.

We rented the…read morecabin (there's only one on site) and wanted to make a review since it's hard to find info on it. The cabin is tucked away and was difficult to find due to the staff not giving us a map or directions but we found it just after driving the whole park and deciding to go back for directions. The cabin is primitive and you have to bring your own bed clothes, pillows, etc. no running water, electric, or heating/cooling but there is an electrical outlet a little ways from the cabin. You'd need an extension cord to reach the cabin though. Picnic table and fire ring on site. They didn't give us any hassle with bringing our dog which we declared when making the reservation. The cabin is very shaded and I was not worried about my dog over heating. There's also a store on site with basic supplies and you can also buy firewood on site. There were vault toilets right by the cabin but they were intolerable...strong odor, wet floors, you get it...so we would head up to the bath house for the rest rooms. Little bit of a walk so we'd drive up. Those were clean and the showers were free. France Park had a lot of fun things to do including various fishing areas (one being just down the hill from the cabin), a swimming/beach area with an obstacle course on the water, and the coolest disc golf course I've ever seen (we brought our own discs. I didn't check to see if you could rent or buy on site). The course goes through the woods and was very challenging for a beginner like myself but loved the experience. The location is also fairly close to a tubing place called Riverside Rentals and we really enjoyed that river float. Also not too bad of a drive to town if needing supplies. I wish we would have taken more photos but was too consumed in being present and enjoying disconnecting. Overall, the only negative was the vault toilets but we'll definitely be back to enjoy this location. What a gem!

The indoor facilities and the outdoor grounds are all very well maintained. The large playground was rebuilt last year and is one of the nicest ones in the North shore area. The small playground (which is part of the preschool) is fully fenced and has a splash pad that operates during the summer months. There is an outdoor walking path that loops around the entire Rec center and an indoor running path at the fitness center. There is also a state of the art gymnastics facility for toddlers to big kids. Overall, this is an excellent recreation center that is very well maintained and has just about everything. The only negative aspect of this center is that the playgrounds can get too crowded when all the kiddos from the preschool, summer camps, and enrichment programs all come out to play. Otherwise, very highly recommended.

Here they run a variety of activities for children as well as adults and seniors. Almost any activity you can think of including sports, fitness, dance, theater, gymnastic and art are offered here. They are always adding new things that are popular. My son just started a video game design class which is really up his alley. During holidays and throughout the year they put on special events for families to enjoy. They run a very good preschool which is one of the most affordable in the area, but make sure you book it early because it fills up fast. The quarterly book that they send to the residents is huge and nicely laid out with programs. You can register for classes with ease online or there. Not only that, but the staff are all very helpful. If there was ever a time when we were not completely satisfied or were suddenly unable to attend, we were refunded our money and never given a hard time. Anyone can sign up for the activities here, however it is just less expensive if you are a resident. What I love the most is the convenience of everything being in one location, so I'm not running all over the place. I also like how many options there are. We are always trying something new and fun. They put on the cutest theater productions and tickets are not expensive. The rec center has alot to offer so check it out for yourself!

The only time available was 8:30pm which was surprising how fast the slots booked up. I got a call about a week before the reservation from Maxine explaining to me that the youth soccer league schedule came out and they would have the field from 8:30pm til 9:30 pm at the latest. She apologized profusely and gave me some options. She asked if I wanted to start at 9:30pm, or come in at 8:30 and play dodgeball/kick ball/field hockey until the other field opened, or reschedule. We opted on coming in at 8:30 and playing dodgeball until our field opened up. To make up for the last minute change, Maxine said she'd buy us a round of drinks. On the day of, we had Christian as our host. Maxine had informed him of everything we discussed so there were no problems. We ended up getting beer for everyone in our party as an apology which was awesome. We even got a party room to put all our stuff down in since I booked this for my birthday. There were plates, cups and napkins set out for us. Bubble soccer was so much fun! It's super exhausting and hot inside the bubbles. Christian was there to be our referee but we told him we weren't really playing that seriously. Everything went so smoothly and was handled very professionally! I would recommend booking a birthday party or any other event here!

Secretly I was fuming that I didn't get to play too. Anyways, each sport goes for about a half hour and the kids, they all have a flippin blast. Especially dodgeball.
