We were greeted immediately by staff, I wanted to try matcha as I haven't had it before and the lovely lady behind the counter made me a sample to try. I did grab a lavender lemonade to go and that was delish too. I love the homey feel to it (it is a house turned coffee shop). They also have art work and jewelry from local artists. I also found out during the week they have different events happening. Mondays are paint days I will definitely be coming back.

It was also great and we can't wait to go back to try one of the sweet ones.

Staff were kind and friendly, though a little harried. I ordered a special iced latte called the Jolene, which tasted just like a dark chocolate raspberry truffle! Since I was unable to finish the crepe part, it felt unsatisfying to just eat the filling. If I return, I'll just stick to the coffee!

My recent visit was not bad. Just not outstanding. I beat the lunch crowd to the counter service and ordered the roast pork platter ($14.72). The yellow rice was nothing special. But it wasn't dry. Plantains were, again, ok. And the black beans had nice seasoning. All served on a Dixie paper plate with plastic utensils.
