We had a great time visiting the town of Hope and staying at the Discovery Cabins. Our cabin was perched on a drop-off overlooking a pretty significantly flowing creek, the grounds are beautiful and the common area was warm, clean and inviting. The cabin was very clean with a double bunk, small desk, ample electrical outlets, two lamps and a couple of flashlights. We took advantage of the laundry facility in the common area and left feeling well rested and ready for the next stop! Do not hesitate to make this stop a priority - Hope is a beautiful town! read more

Log cabins are wonderful, nestled above a stream, very clean, very relaxing atmosphere would highly recommend

5 log cabins overlooking Bear Creek. Main lodge, which houses 2 bathrooms, laundry, and full kitchen, is shared by all cabin guests. Perfect for an overnight or rent the whole property for your next retreat.

History

Established in 1997.

We bought the cabins Sept 2018. They were built as one of the stops for a small Alaskan tour company. We rent them now to people needing a quiet place to stay.

My husband daughter and I own the Discovery cabins. I own and operate Grounds for Hope espresso, my husband is a bartender at the Seaview and our daughter goes to Hope school.
