    End of the Christmas show!

Since starting beginning g of November 2023 twice a week-I can't say enough good things about Miss Jackie and her team. They are all so passionate about what they do. I don't know where they get the energy to do all the activities, cooking, cleaning, teaching, etc 5 days a week. My daughter is always excited and happy when she comes home and tells me about her day. She's never sad or upset that she has to go to her house for the day. She really enjoys her time there. There is a monthly calendar that weekly has something fun going on to keep things fun and exciting. I'm so glad she had an opening when I desperately needed to pull my daughter from another daycare center that had hired a new teacher that was terrible. The kids are having fun while they learn and are being challenged to grow in their writing and drawing skills. I believe some other kids are also working on basic math. I enjoy always receiving at least one picture during the day, knowing she is getting two meals and two snacks, able to enjoy a nap with shoes off, dimmed lights, and soft music (unlike her other school-rules of their place they said). These are the little things I love about having my daughter in a house, it feels so home like and comfortable. So many great kid projects are pictured on this Yelp page. They really do so many projects which teaches the kids so much. My husband and I are so happy having our daughter here and trust she is well cared for. The Christmas show was adorable with amazing choreography and costume changes. I would've loved seeing the kids sing several songs. But things like that show the love and passion Jackie and her team have in making the experiences for the kids memorable.

I have been associated with Discover the World Learning Group going on 9 years in July, and it is an amazing place of business. Mrs. Jackie and Mr. Mark go above and beyond with the activities, field trips, and provides a safe and fun environment for the children to learn and grow. My 4 year old son is now enrolled part-time and Mrs. Jackie is very patient and understands his learning needs.

He's since graduated to Kindergarten, but our journey continues with our twin 3-year-olds, who have been at TLE since they were just a few months old. As they've grown, so has our appreciation for the incredible staff who've supported them through every developmental milestone. A huge thank you to Zully, who lovingly guided our twins through their adventurous climbing phase--often requiring what felt like hostage negotiations to keep them off the furniture! Her patience and care made a world of difference during those energetic months. We're also deeply grateful to Zoila and Ericka, who have been instrumental in navigating the potty training phase and helping our twins learn to express their emotions constructively. Their dedication and nurturing approach helped transform tantrums into teachable moments, and we've seen such growth in our kids because of their efforts. TLE continues to be a place where our children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to learn and grow. The staff's commitment to each child's development is evident in everything they do, and we couldn't be more thankful for the role they've played in our family's journey.

There are 2 things really important for me, great teachers and a clean facility and this place meets both. But I will elaborate more on my experience. First of all my son was potty trained in 1 week!!! I couldn't believe it. 2nd and most of all, ms Elsie is amazing!! She is very Montessori knowledgeable and passionate about its philosophy, so you get the whole Montessori experience. I had looked at many preschools around the area and even chino hills but they were not truly Montessori. She is very kind and patient and that's how she teaches patience to the children, because she models it first. I saw with my own eyes how she resolved conflict among children and I was amazed. I had to take notes quickly! I would sometimes ask ms Elsie advise on how to handle situations and she would gladly advise me so I think I also learned alot... she was like our north star guiding us ... My son learned to write, read sight words, logical sequence, simple math, express his emotions and voice out what bothers him. He also learned to navigate group settings and follow rules. We waited 6 months to get in and only got 3 days half days, but we were happy with that because he was able to learn everything he needed for kinder, and was so ready for it he was not nervous nor cried on his first day. I see preschool mainly as a place to prepare children for big school, academically and socially and he achieved both here. My son was super attached to me and wouldn't even go out with daddy without me. But after a couple of months with ms Elsie he was saying he wanted to go to school 7 days a week. Now he tells me he misses everyone and everything about it, going there, learning, helping, the food... everything . Btw ms Veronica who is also there every day is also wonderful, she is also very kind and patient with the children. I would suggest checking availability early and getting on the waitlist, specially if you have specific schedule requirements... slots fill up quickly

They are nurturing, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do, which gives us so much peace of mind as parents. The front office staff, Ms. Tammie and Ms. Alma, also deserve special recognition. Every interaction with them has been professional, welcoming, and kind. They set the tone for the entire school and make you feel genuinely supported and valued. They were so helpful reviewing the admission process with us, helping to get all of my daughter's paperwork in order, and reviewed the value of all of the services provided concisely. Unlike other schools we toured, Everbrook was very up front about "all in" pricing including diapers for potty training and always a hot lunch! One of the most beautiful things about Everbrook is the overall calm and peaceful atmosphere. Even though the school is filled with happy, playful children, it never feels chaotic--there's a sense of balance, structure, and joy throughout the day. We deeply appreciate the constant updates provided during the day, including details about bathroom use and eating habits. That level of communication makes such a difference and reinforces how attentive and thoughtful the staff is with each child. The curriculum is another standout. There's a wonderful balance between STEM-based learning and allowing children to simply be kids--exploring, playing, and learning through discovery. It feels developmentally appropriate while still being enriching. We were especially amazed by how quickly we saw growth in our daughter. After just her first two days, we noticed a clear improvement in her vocabulary and her ability to form full sentences. The positive impact was almost immediate. Lastly, the Sprout app is an incredible tool. Being able to check in on her day at any time adds an extra layer of connection and reassurance that we truly value. Everbrook Academy has exceeded our expectations in every way. It's a place where children are cared for, challenged, and celebrated--and we are so grateful to be part of this community.

Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Over the course of several months, we raised concerns more than five times about a specific teacher's behavior--primarily the use of a loud, aggressive tone and yelling toward children as young as 3-4 years old. Our daughter began showing clear signs of distress. She would cry about going to school and repeatedly told us that the teacher was "mean." As parents, we brought this to the director's attention multiple times, hoping for a resolution. During a meeting on April 9, 2026, the director acknowledged that she had personally observed the classroom multiple times and was aware of the inappropriate, overly harsh tone. She also shared that this was part of the reason the teacher would be leaving--but not until the end of May, meaning the behavior would continue for over a month. We were told our daughter could not be moved to another classroom until June due to lack of space. At the same time, the classroom aide--who had been a source of comfort for our daughter--was also leaving. We made it very clear that we were not comfortable leaving our child in that environment without the aide and with a teacher whose behavior had already been acknowledged as inappropriate. At that point, we made the difficult decision to withdraw our daughter immediately. This was not by choice, but out of concern for her well-being. To make matters worse, when we communicated our decision, we were told we would still be required to pay half of the following week's tuition--even though our daughter would no longer be attending and the reason for withdrawal was directly related to unresolved concerns we had repeatedly raised. After submitting a formal complaint through the school's app, we were immediately removed from the platform. I also requested the owner's name and contact information and did not receive a response. Instead, access to the app was revoked, which unfortunately only reinforced our concerns about how this situation was handled. As parents, we expected accountability and a safe environment for our child. Instead, we felt unheard and unsupported. I hope this review encourages the school to take concerns like this more seriously moving forward, for the sake of the other children and families.
