I am incredibly thankful for Dr. Dave and the entire team at Discover Life Chiropractic! A longtime friend had been telling me for years to come here and get adjusted, but I hesitated because of all the myths I had heard about chiropractic care. I actually sent my husband first! He has chronic back pain and injuries from serving in the Army and prefers more natural approaches before considering major medical interventions. After his initial assessment and first adjustment with Dr. Dave, he immediately said, "Wow, I feel so much better." Seeing his experience--and learning so much during his assessment--finally encouraged me to schedule my own. At that point, Dr. Dave was honestly my last resort before moving forward with spinal injections or minimally invasive procedures. I had chronic lower back pain, migraines/headaches, and a history of multiple car accidents. The pain had become unbearable and was limiting my everyday activities. As a mom of a three-year-old, I needed to be able to keep up with her. During my evaluation, I learned that it wasn't only my lower back that needed attention--my neck was also a major problem. I had dealt with chronic migraines and headaches for years but never connected them to my neck or spine. Sometimes my neck would even feel like needles when trying to hold my head up. The knowledge Dr. Dave provides about chiropractic care and how it relates specifically to YOUR individual assessment is unmatched. After my assessment, Dr. Dave adjusted my back and neck. When he adjusted my neck, I felt INSTANT relief from pain and tension I had experienced for years--so much relief that all I could do was cry. I also felt like I could breathe better, especially through my nose. I literally felt like I was floating on clouds! It was one of the best feelings ever. Dr. Dave gave me an individualized care plan and explained when I should expect to notice improvement. Since I had already seen the difference chiropractic care was making for my husband, I was 100% on board. We started addressing my problem areas aggressively, usually 2-3 times a week when my schedule allows. By my SIXTH adjustment, I noticed a complete difference in my activity and tolerance levels. I could do everyday activities with significantly fewer limitations. The biggest thing for me: I was already scheduled for spinal injections before starting chiropractic care. After only SIX adjustments, I CANCELLED my spinal injections because I no longer felt that I needed them! I am no longer in pain the way I used to be. If I notice myself tensing up, I use the stretches I've learned and get adjusted. My migraines and headaches have also become much less frequent. Scheduling adjustments is extremely easy, and Discover Life offers additional services, including massage--which is next on my list because I've heard Ms. Tammy is amazing, and my husband already gets massages there. Regardless of which provider you see, the team provides individualized care plans, recommendations, therapeutic treatments, and at-home exercises and stretches. They even have videos on their YouTube page, so if you forget an exercise, you can go back and review it. My personal favorites are the exercise ball and foam roller. Combining those exercises with my adjustments has made a HUGE difference for me. Chiropractic care has become something our whole family participates in, including our daughter. I truly wish I had gone to Dr. Dave years sooner. Starting care here has been one of the best decisions I've made for myself and my family. With their technology, expertise, individualized approach, and variety of treatments, I would absolutely recommend checking out Discover Life Chiropractic--from adults and veterans to pregnant women and families with children. And a HUGE shoutout to the entire Discover Life team! Scheduling is easy, communication is great, and we are always made to feel welcome. read more

they will book multiple people for the same exact timeslot, and then try to cram everyone in as fast as they can. If you get there at 9:30, you will be waiting with five other people that were booked for 930. The appointments are extremely quick. 2 to 3 minutes. Also, that clicking gun does nothing for adult sized people. This was my least favorite chiropractor. read more

Amazing job Dr.D does. Always a pleasure to walk in. Everyone greets you with a smile.

Tammy is the massage therapist there. I really enjoyed her massage and her positive energy.

Dr. Dave is the best around, his treats you as id you are the only patient and your health and well being are his only priority. I highly recommend Discover Chiropractic for your Chiro needs. Another bonus is the team welcomes you in like the old TV show Cheers! read more

FRAUD ALERT Do not go to Discover Life Chiropractic!!! I recently had to request all my statements from them because I haven't seen them in months and all of a sudden I got a bill, when I shouldn't have anything outstanding. So I request my statement and low and behold they charged me out of pocket for like 29 visits instead of billing my insurance and some additional "support" I never received. This is obviously where I went wrong, because I had everything on an automatic payment plan with my HSA and trusted they would abide by their legal obligations so I never really payed attention to it and here I am with HUNDREDS of dollars out of pocket. Just wow. read more

I started going to Discovery Life when I threw my back out. Since I've started going regularly David has improved my ability to stand for longer periods of time. He can't fix my scoliosis but he has made it manageable for me. I highly recommend Discover Life. The staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable. And if you ever need to be seen on an emergency basis they make sure you're taken care of asap. read more

Love Dr. Dave. Feels like he actually wants you to get better, gives good tips on maintaining no matter what the lifestyle is like. The massages there are good too and affordable read more

This place deserves a negative review This is one of the worst chiropractors I have seen and I have seen over 20 in multiple states. Since 2008. A lot of chiropractors will prep for the adjustments with muscle stimulation or ice pacs. This office uses ice. Well, sort of... The blond decided that what was appropriate, was to drop the pack on me. It didn't matter where the pacs landed, nor did it matter that it was part of what I was paying for. She obviously prefers to be paid to watch movies on her computer, rather than actually do the job I paid her to do. Then, these idiots put me into this massive machine from the 1960's. I know it is that old, because of the color green it was painted with. It's the same paint I used to see l, on everything, during my grade school year, on practically everything used in my elementary and middle school grades. The machine took up 1/3 of the small room I was in and sounds about as loud as a modern MRI. All it was doing was pulling my head away from my shoulders, repeatedly. The blond receptionist didn't care how I was placed into this ancient contraption, nor did she care if it was working. I obviously was in her way. Of course this thing didn't do anything it was supposed to. I've had much better care from chiropractors who do this type of manipulation by hand. Instead of a 60 year old machine. It's pathetic and highly suspect. This was one of the worst. Rude, uncaring receptionist. Improper use of medical devices to service my care. And the Chiropractor never fixed my misaligned cervical vertebra. I basically paid for them to waste my time, piss me off, insult me and then steal my money. The chiropractor attempted to make adjustments and failed to solve the massive amount of pain I had been living with continuously, due his lack of understanding. A problem that continued to happen with nearly every damn practice I saw for help. He, like nearly all of the chiropractors I saw in this state were crooks. read more

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Dave!!! He has been so caring and gentle on me and my family. His office staff and Tami!!!! All great people!

I started coming to Discover Life Chiropractic mainly because I was dealing with chronic migraines for many years, and nothing would seem to help get rid of them. On top of back pain that I was dealing with as well I decided to give the chiropractor a try! After talking with my doctor and my sister she recommended I go to her chiropractor as he specializes in care for migraines and she's been going there for years so I trust her opinion. I've been going since October and can confidently say Dave has helped change my life drastically!! Since starting I no longer get chronic migraines as often as I did and if I so it's rare, there's times I'll still get minor headaches due to stress and life factors or if I sleep on my neck wrong but nothing abnormal. I 100% feel like my quality of life has improved greatly because my migraines use to get in the way of being able to work, socializing and doing day to day activities. Dave is the best at guiding you on how to manage your pain and what helps prevent it. The whole entire office team is great and friendly, I always look forward to seeing everyone. Plus the massage therapist is absolutely wonderful! I definitely recommend you see her she makes you feel so comfortable and is very knowledgeable with what exercises/movements will help manage the pain. If you're dealing with chronic migraines and back pain Discover Life Chiropractic is the place to go. You won't regret it, seriously it's changed my life and I'm so grateful to be around a genuine team of people! And it's very affordable. read more

I've been seeing Dr Devin for a few years now. He and the rest of the staff are always friendly, and he keeps my back pain free.

I initially found this office through Groupon, I had found some reviews that recommended it so I thought I would give it a shot! I used to have a great chiropractor but he passed and I hadn't been able to find a good chiropractor since. That changed when I found Discover Life Chiropractic. I have pre existing neck and back issues and my neck incurred more damage in a car accident a few years ago. I used to get chronic headaches that felt as strong as migraines and would affect my sleep. Since starting treatment I have had about 80% reduction in headaches. Dr. Dave is straight forward with you and will help you to receive the care that you need to get back to feeling great as well as teach you how to work on your issues at home too. Can't recommend enough! read more

Discover life Chiropractic has saved my life. I was so limited as far as my range of motion is concerned. Dr. Dave came up with a treatment plan and has been adjusting me since March of 2019. I have had back surgery which was a complete failure and Dr. Dave's adjustments have me feeling back to my normal self. I can now enjoy sports, hiking, camping and all of the activities I have been missing out on for the past three years. Highly recommend! read more

This is the second timeI am warning ppl. They deleted my review and any review they don't approve of. Like all pages on Maps. I have seen eight different chiropractors in the area, trying to find a legitimate Dr! This was one of the worst! I could have had a stroke during my treatment. This is the chiropractor I once came to, hoping this office would be my solution to my serious head and neck injury; my TBI in 2012. $500,000 surgery, two month stay in the hospital, flight for life, two different cranial surgeries to both remove a large piece of my scull in order to release the pressure from it so that I wouldn't have massive brain damage and die. The other surgery was a week later, when they pulled my scull out of a freezer and placed it back into my scull like a Lego piece and reinforced the closure with brackets they call, "snow flakes". Ironic since this happened in a ski town. Both of these dr.s treated me. Both failed atrociously. I initially saw Hendrickson first. He couldn't set my atlas, ever. Which caused my such a migraine, I kept coming back and burnt through hundreds of dollars at this completely insufficient practice. You shouldn't have to go two to three times a week. I initially saw Dr. Hendrickson, who couldn't ever place my atlas in it's correct position. This caused me migraines, dizziness, nausea, loss of balance. My head was always leaning to the right, because he couldn't set it, he decided to start experimenting on me without my knowledge or concent! ****** WARNING !!!!!! ********* No chiropractor should never be making very abrupt, forceful, jerking motion of your neck aka Cervical spine. Fast rotation of your cervical is extremely dangerous. This can give you a stroke! Research before you start. This is exactly what Hendrickson decided to do to me, without the proper education, without my consent and without telling me he was going to try and snap my head off my shoulders! My reaction was an audible, "Oh,!" " What was that?!" Everyone heard me yell. That was the last time I used him. Dr. Dave on the other hand is an arrogant and completely mislead, Ass. He attempted to humiliate me in front of everyone in the office, by yelling at me, " What do you think you're doing! You can't mark your current pain lever at 10!" "That means your .... Something." It was either that, 10 means l, "I'm in the hospital" or I'm dead or other BS he was trying to pull out of his Jock ass to humiliate me. I have a an extremely high pain tollerence. TBI, facial reconstruction surgery, blown ACL w/cadaver replacement, bucket tear on each my meniscus. Rt LCL reattachment. Didn't know I broke a rib until it healed with a bulge. Spiral fractured my third metacarpal in my rt hand. I could go on... What a shear lack of professionalism and clear view of his immaturity and how much of a disgusting human, you have to be, to try and humiliate a client Infront of your other clients. Just to make you feel like a big man. I'm sure he bullied the hell out of a lot of "Nerds", during his grade school year and furnished in that Douchebag 80's Jock mentally. How little confidence in yourself is necessary in one's mind, to force a fool, to speak to anyone like that, much less a paying customer. I wonder how he treats his wife and kids? I have been forced to continue to remake this review, because they have the ability to only allow the reviews they like to be published on their google maps, business page. That lack in self confidence makes me question the confidence this arrogant fool has in his chiropractic skills. I know they are both bad, because I never got any healthier going to this practice. Watch out of extremely busy practices. read more

After years of "just dealing" with chronic pain, headaches and fatigue I finally sought out help. I found a Groupon for Discover Life Chiropractic. The Groupon included exam, consultation, adjustment and massage broken down into two visits (advice: remember to read the small print on everything you intend to purchase with Groupon). My intention was not to just use the Groupon but to continue on a path to wellness. From my first adjustment I felt no pain only relief. Being in constant pain to not feeling any pain at all was life changing. I have now been coming into the office three times a week and feel remarkable. I highly suggest going to the new patient clinic and utilizing the massage therapists onsite. Come early for your appointment if you can and keep a positive outlook on your path to wellness. read more

I cannot recommend Asia and her massage skills enough. She's very intuitive, but also knowledgeable and understanding of injury and how to release knots, touch fascia and 'hot spots.' She worked on my knee replacement that I wouldn't let anyone else touch and it feels so good--moves easier, less painful, less swelling. I'm grateful to her and her skills, because just being a masseuse means someone went to school, but she brings skill and talent. Just went in yesterday for an adjustment and I'm feeling better than I have in quite a while! The staff was fantastic and the initial consultation was more thorough than I have received elsewhere (even though they knew I was only in town for the week and wouldn't be a regular patient). The only downside is the office space which lacks privacy and isn't very aesthetically pleasing. The service though was definitely five stars and I will absolutely come back when I am in town again. Pros - great staff, easy appointment scheduling with text reminders Cons - office space could use an upgrade read more

The office staff is friendly and Dr. Dave is knowledgeable. They are expedient and I trust them with my care. The open setting is new to me. While the consult and x-ray rooms are private, there three adjustment table areas are in the main office and separated by half-walls. As a very private person, I thought this might bother me but before I ever mentioned it, Dr. Dave explained that he encourages 'open air learning'. In other words, your personal info is NOT being overheard by other office patrons but they might overhear recommended sleep positions, or see a demo of wall exercises and stretches and such . It encourages patient education and that's a philosophy I can get behind. So far so good. read more

Discovered this place on Groupon two weeks ago and it is by far the best. I got 2 adjustments from the Chiropractor in the first booth(forgot his name) and he really did a number on me. The staff is amazing, very friendly as well and their team work seemed effortless. I felt like I was in movie with how perfect everything was LOL. Dr. Hendrickson has taken such good care of me for 4yrs - sad to be moving away. I especially appreciate his wholistic perspective, and while I originally started chiropractic care for car accident neck/back injuries, I learned how much it has helped my food intolerances/digestive issues and stress/nervous system functioning too. I not only got top-notch medical care, but I felt supported as a person & treated like a partner in my health as we learned more & more together. Fantastic chiropractor & human being! Thanks, Dr. Dave! read more

We did not agree to additional services outside of Groupon. You indicated you could not fulfill agreed-upon services from Groupon and offered alternative treatments to the Groupon offer. My husband accepted your alternative services from the compression services that the Groupon had initially stated. You apparently decided you were not appropriately compensated and decided to collect additional monies from our private insurance. You are in fact a scam artist and we have in fact let our insurance company know of your attempts to collect additional monies outside of services from Groupon. You are apparently very informed to the laws pertaining to insurance information and know that if you can collect insurance information on the same date of service that you can collect said charges from the insurance company in addition to the Groupon offer. I realize you are trying to pay for your sons college this is a very shabby way of doing so, and very unprofessional I might add. I stand by our statement in letting other people know not to give you their personal insurance information while using a Groupon offer at your office. read more

Dr David is fantastic. He is patient and listens well to all your needs. I have been steadily going here for 7 months now and my migraines are almost completely gone. I have migraines more than 15 days each month and I'm down to only a couple days a month with less severity. 110% worth it. His payment plans are great and allowed me to get the car I need. Thanks so much! read more

I bought a groupon deal for an exam, a massage & an adjustment so I could try this place out. When I made the appointment, they told me it would have to be 2 separate appointments (which is fine) & to fill out/print out the form online to save time (awesome). The first appointment was just for the exam. I had to wait for a really long time & when they finally took me back, the girl asked me everything that was on the form I had already filled out. I asked her about it & her reply was that she didn't really read it. So, she apologized & stopped the additional form. She also apologized for the wait, so I assumed it wasn't the norm there. The girl that was doing the exam also told me that she hadn't read my form, so she couldn't give me detailed information about what she was doing. Seriously? So then I finally see the Dr. & he came off as a little bit pushy/condescending. He also seemed like he didn't have time to talk to me... like he was really rushing to get out of there. So, if I hadn't already paid for the massage & adjustment, I would've bailed at this point. I went in for my massage about a week later. I didn't have to wait very long for the massage. The massage therapist, Katie, was very nice, but the massage wasn't what I expected. I'm used to getting more of a sports/injury type massage at a chiropractic office & this was basic light to medium pressure Swedish massage. I asked for focus on my neck & shoulders, but she didn't spend very much time there or do any detailed work at all. I asked for deeper pressure once, but it only lasted for a few minutes before she went back to lighter work. After the massage, I waited about 35 mins for the chiropractor to adjust me. I was already frustrated about the wait, but then he had the same rude, rushed behavior & made it worse. He walked in, got on the computer (didn't look at me at all) & said "Questions?" I had to ask what he said just to make sure I wasn't losing my mind here... but I was right. He then proceeded to have me hop on the table & spent a couple minutes fiddling with it, pushed down on me a few times & told me I was aligned, but that it would only last 24 hours. Then said "Questions?" again. Seriously? I don't know if he's just rude to groupon people or what happened here. He seemed like the was very nice & friendly with the other clients. I heard him making conversation with the people he took back in the other room while I was waiting. The front desk ladies were very nice, no complaints there. I've been to other chiropractors before & even worked for one myself (I'm a massage therapist), but I've never had an experience like this. Needless to say, I won't be going back. read more

I waited several months before posting my review. Dr Hendrickson and the office staff are great. But friendliness aside Dr Hendrickson is a proficient and well-read Chiropractor, he stays abreast of the newest research and techniques, and he has all the right equipment to achieve the best alignment I could hope for. I came in hunched over and to the side due to the pain and compression I had achieved in my work. Today I stand tall, my pain is 95% gone, and and I FEEL so much better than I did; I am much more energetic than I was the first day I walked in the door. I recommend Discover Life Chiropractic highly. (I'd like to address some of the other low star reviews: I came in on a Groupon, realizing that I could get more services than the Groupon guaranteed. Dr Hendrickson explained my options thoroughly. He asked if I wanted a quick fix, a bandaid if you will, or a permanent solution, which in my case warranted more visits than once a month. I am experienced with chiropractic treatments so the state of my compressed spine, pain, and misalignment didn't surprise me. I appreciated his candor. As for billing my insurance, what's the problem with that? I wish I had insurance that covered chiropractic! That is the problem with Yelp reviews. Some people need a long time to hear and process information they are told, but they act before they fully understand and then complain that they didn't have their expectations met. It's the same with restaurant reviews too. They treat Yelp like a way to resolve petty concerns not about the quality of the food and the service, or in this case the quality of the treatment and the service. If you're slow witted or having a bad day, do us all a favor and wait a few days before posting your one or two star review.) read more

Both, my husband and I came across Discover Life through Groupon. My husband was very skeptical to say the least, to whether or not chiropractic would work for him. He suffered with a bad back pain that was almost forcing him to use a cane. Today, he enjoys an almost normal life with little or no pain at all!! I also had a bad shoulder that would prevent me to do regular work, and today I am happy to say I not only have no pain, but also saw a great improvement in my sleep. Dr David is very knowledgeable and his approach to Chiropractic is to help his patients to achieve a higher quality of life, through the process of learning and understanding how important it is to take care of their bodies. While getting rid of pain is a great motivator, there is so much more to the wellness chiropractic patients enjoy! The atmosphere of the office was just awkward. There's not much privacy at all while you are getting your back adjusted, there's a short wall separating you between the waiting room and adjustment table. And during the consultation you sit in an extremely small room and talk to the doctor, that seemed a little weird. I bought the groupon, and my massage was good and the girl who did it was really nice and listened to what I asked. The doctor asked what my budget was because I did want to keep returning for chiropractic work. When I told him he basically just told me it wasn't worth it for me to come in once a month since I wasn't able to afford what he charges for a visit. I've had chiropractic work before, and the doctor worked with me really well regarding what I was able to afford and what not. This office was just different with that and I didn't feel too welcomed. Maybe it's because I had a groupon. The receptionist was nice though. read more

Dr. Hendrickson is the most caring, professional, WONDERFUL Chiropractor! He has literally cured my back pain that I'd had since I was a child (due to scoliosis), over 10 years ago, and it's never hurt again. I actually went in because my feet hurt too, and this was associated with my back. Also, when my thyroid was out of balance, my doctor wanted me to go on Synthroid, and instead I went to Dr. Dave and he adjusted me to put it back in balance. For the past 4 years, each year I have that thyroid test at the doctor, she is astonished that it's still in balance, with no medication! I highly recommend Dr. Dave. read more

Discover Life Chiropractic is great! Dr. Hendrickson is helping me recover from acute sciatica pain and soreness in my neck and shoulder. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical of whether chiropractic was going to work for me when I first went in, but I'm amazed at the results and so grateful I gave it a try. Not only are the adjustments effective in relieving my pain but I like that he teaches me exercises to do at home to help keep myself in better alignment. One of the first things I noticed since I began seeing him regularly is that I sleep much better now. His staff are friendly and they're good at handling his office, which at times can be very busy with many patients at once. They always remember my name, where I work, etc. They're also great at accommodating me last minute and always have a slot available on short notice. The only thing I would change are their hours are different a few days out of the week and it's hard for me to keep straight, but I think that's pretty typical with chiropractors from what I've seen. read more

After buying a Groupon to Discover for the massage and adjustment I explained how I was suffering for years with what was diagnosis with "migraine induced vertigo". While vertigo is mainly a come and go issue I was suffering everyday-all day issues with this life ruining issue for 5.5 years. For the first year they didn't know what was wrong with me; MRI and CAT scans showed nothing but the medication made it so I wasn't going into the ER for dehydration. The original amount of 250 mg to the 15 mg I was taking everyday seemed good enough when I came into Discover but because of the adjustments to put my neck back in place and out of unnatural position it was in I am off of everything. After 6 sessions of adjustments I am finally off my medication that I had to take daily! I cant thank this man enough, I wish my Doctors hadn't written off the chiropractor option because I think I would have been off my medication a lot sooner. I hope someone who is suffering from this issue sees this so they can get the help I am thankful finally got. read more

Where do I begin.....I first began chiropratic care when I was 16 for an car accident. So, I have a lot of experience with chiropractors ( 20+ years). We ( my husband & I ) have been In Dr. David's care since October 1999. He has truly changed our lives! We now have 3 daughters who have been in Dr Davids care since coming home from the hospital after their birth. I cannot give this man enough praise. We get adjustments weekly. He care is ESSENTIAL in keeping our family healthy. Our oldest daughter has Down syndrome. She is extremely healthy and very high functioning. I attribute much of this to Dr. David's care. Whenever anyone in our family feels under the weather or just out of sorts, we look to Dr. David for aid in healing. We get weekly adjusments ( all of us ) and will always continue to do so. He is a very important part of our healthy lifestyle. I, truly, do not know what I would do without his care for my family. His rates are extremely reasonable. My sister ( who lives in Florida) is still trying to find a chiropractor who will offer similar rates ( very difficult to find ). Do not hesitate to give him a try. He believes in what he does which makes him GREAT at what he does. He is extremely knowledgeable and continually learning the latest techniques. I truly believe he can help heal what ails you.
