I've been here a handful of times and normally take my time to browse all of their unique awesome goodies. I notice that they carry things that other bigger retailers don't carry and I really enjoy that. The cashiers here are very nice and I like that they offer a good return or exchange policy in case you aren't happy with an item. I had bought a face cream from here named Acure and that very night I used the cream and had a really bad reaction to it. So the next day I brought it in for an return/exchange and they happily took it back and I bought other items with the refund. I will say that there are some items that are pricier than normal but again sometimes it's worth it because these items are rare and hard to find. But today I was going to grab something at their café and do some work. Now for context, I understand why a lot of stores have rules on bringing in backpacks. Especially in this area... Ive been coming here for over a year now, so when I walk in and immediately get told to leave my backpack either in my car or at the front it kinda aggressively it felt strange. I let the cashier know that I was going straight to the café to do some work and she told me that backpacks aren't allowed in there either. But everyone in there either has a huge tote bag or one of those laptop bags. What's even the difference?? So yeah I ended up just getting bread and leaving. Kinda disheartening when you get treated like rudely/awkwardly when you love a place so much. The two other people in line also got some extremely positive conversations with her, but when I got there she looked at me like I was a inconvenience

I needed dairy free and the cashier couldn't spit out that 3 of the things in the drink I wanted had dairy.. once she did (with the help of another girl who didn't acknowledge me until the next part of this rude experience) no biggie on the dairy, I then nicely asked what was dairy free and the rude one who inserted herself, says one word with a complete attitude "vegan" .. I'm sorry like no kidding.. so I said I know but which drinks are dairy free.. she then said the vegan ones.. doesn't point to a section on the menu which is chaotic and hard to read.. can't be bothered to list some of the options.. there is just no help, kindness or patience when heaven forbid you can't read the menu/aren't familiar with the menu. I chose to leave before I said something matching her tone and vibe, because she wouldn't have liked it very much had I spoken to her the way she spoke to me. It's just getting old with these teens acting like everyone is a burden. You're at work.. I needed a little help.. and instead got an attitude. They have lost me as a customer and based on their reviews and yelp rating it's not just me.
