A few weeks later they contacted me and said they had an opening and could come do the job. The crew showed up and worked like a well tuned machine. Within a couple of hours three or four of the trees were gone. After a few more hours they had eight of them down and David rolled the crane into the cramped back yard and carefully brought down the final tree. I chose to go with Don because I felt like he gave a fair estimate, was knowledgeable and he would be coming to do the work himself instead of sending just a crew. I hired Good Guy after a recommendation from neighbor. I did not know this company prior to this…read morejob. They trimmed two limbs off of an oak in backyard. They did an okay job with that. They were also hired to replace two portions of a 6 foot wooden privacy fence, one side to have a gate. They took weeks to finish the two portions of the fence and the final result was substandard and unsatisfactory. The gate was a sloppy job with the pickets not matching in width and color. The picket where the hinges were installed was split 3/4 from top to near bottom. It appears when they screwed in the hinges they split the wood. They was a large, uneven gap (about 1 1/2 inch on top) between gate and fence where it opened. Just all around a poor job. When I asked them to fix these things, they refused saying job was done and if I called again complaining, they would claim harassment. Non-professional all around. Based on my negative experience,I would not recommend hiring this business.
