Came in as a walk in to check on my tire sensor being lit up. This place was busy for a saturday morning around 8am ish. This place was organized as far as getting customers in as walk in , with appointments etc. They had a hand held machine to control traffic and to help customers ease the wait time to be serviced. They will ask for your name and phone number and the text message will route you when they are ready to service you. They spoke to me that since i had warranty cards on my 4 tires that my payment will be about $14 if I needed a new tire (1) . After they took my car in - They resolved the issue as a valve issue and they replaced the tire valve and it was a free service. The frustrating part about this was the icon was still lit up. So they informed me to give it about 15-20 mins and the icon should be gone. Well I drove the car nearby and it still was there - the icon. So I went back to the location and told them I will need this cleared because I was not comfortable driving with tire issues after leaving them. I waited until a staff assisted me clearing the icon. So far the icon did not pop up. I also noticed that the staff says things that is not there - example - i requested my receipt to be EMAILED to me and the employee stated it was emailed. So I waited enough that the email was not popping up on my inbox. Come to find out - the system NEVER HAD MY EMAIL ADDRESS. So i asked the employee - how did u send the receipt without my email address in the system? He then asked another employee STEPS to email my receipt AFTER HE ASKED ME MY EMAIL ADDRESS. He looked like a new employee because he didnt know steps on such a thing as far as his tasks. Overall this place is not bad its the fact that I drove off still having the icon lit up after they fixed the issue and not being honest about having my email address. read more

I was contacted by Discount Tire's customer service regarding my recent experience. Shortly afterward, Joelle, the store manager, reached out to gather additional details. He was extremely courteous, professional, and genuinely helpful. My vehicle was brought in on Monday, and the service was handled promptly and professionally. I have a great deal of respect for a company--and a manager--who takes the time to personally follow up and work to resolve a situation. That level of accountability matters. read more

Wonderful staff work here who truly care about helping you with your tire needs! Everyone is super nice, professional, and goes above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. The service is quick and amazing, and the prices can't be beat. Highly recommend Discount Tire! Especially Donald he was so quick with my car. read more

Everything was great coming in. TILL, they took my money. They didn't rotate my tires and somehow my air pressure in my tires went down. I went back in to let them know my tires weren't rotated the way I asked them to do it. They laughed at me and refused to finish the job. I'll never step foot in this place ever again. very unprofessional to their customers. I'd steer clear of this place. If they don't do the job right, you're stuck with it. Very know-it all condescending attitudes. I gave 1 star because I couldn't give a ZERO. They don't care about you returning. read more

I visited Discount Tire on the morning of Friday 5, September 2025 with a Nail in my Right Front Tire and received incredible service from Joell and the Discount Tire team! This Discount Tire location is already my go-to stop for tire needs, but this visit reaffirmed just why that is! As I always say when it comes to getting work done on my car, I hope it is a LONG time until I have to go back, but at least I can rest easy in knowing where I will go when that day comes! read more

Great service! Very important to book an appt online or you will w a i t. That said, they are really nice young men, honest, and very hardworking. I've been coming to this location for nearly 5 years. No complaints. By the way, the warranty on new tires is worth its weight in gold. 10 stars read more

Ordered my tires online through tire rack and had them sent to Discount Tire. I called when I ordered the tires with the estimated time of arrival being a Friday. Unfortunately because of work I wouldn't get them changed out until Tuesday. Fast forward to Thursday and the tires arrived early. Thursday worked for me whereas the following day (Friday) didn't. I called them and said I saw the tires arrived to their shop and if there was any chance they could do them that day. While they said they had no openings I could come in and they'd get them done. I arrived at 2 like they asked me and told me ideally they could get it done by 315. My car sat in the lot until 315 but by 330 I was driving out of there on my new tires. They were busy but fit me in last minute rather than let me drive on my bald tires until Tuesday. Everyone in the shop that I dealt with was friendly and had great customer service. Biggest thanks to Wes for getting me in so last minute since my tires came in early. read more

Every time I visit this location, it takes 45 minutes to over an hour just to check in for an appointment because they take phone calls while they have people standing in front of them. The last time I visited, I was scolded by Cyle (with a C) and told that this was company policy when I asked why they kept taking phone calls while they were helping customers and had several customers in line. At this point it was past 10am and I was third in line to check in for a 930 appointment. read more

Amazing experience today at Discount Tire in Winter Haven, Fl! I was in Central Fl to visit a relative and one tire on my Airport rental car kept losing air. I contacted Discount Tire to make an appointment to evaluate the situation so that I could apprise the Car Rental company exactly what was needed. There were no appts available, but I was encouraged to show up as a "walk in" to be evaluated. The business (late afternoon) was packed with others doing the same; and with scheduled customers bringing in and picking up their serviced vehicles. Three lines with friendly, efficient service agents were working tirelessly to process everyone! "Wes" soon evaluated my rental car tire and pointed out that it was old, getting bald and had been "plugged" for a hole before; and that for safety reasons, he offered that Discount Tire pro's could remove the bum tire and place the spare on (for free!) tonight; and that I should let the rental company know the tire losing air was balding and would need replacement or a vehicular exchange. Discount Tire replaced my my spare after hours--they worked two hours beyond "closing" to accommodate all of us who came in panicked late day with tire woes. I was simply astounded. Their specialists are also dedicated, hardworking, efficient, professional and team players. It appears that they take great pride in their work. They all seem to understand that many clients are in crisis, and take it to heart. Thank you Wes, and your amazing team for making my day so much better via your knowlegeable and efficient service; for not charging me for your time and work; and for helping me navigate the situation with the rental car company. Around Midnight, Alamo sent a helpful agent from a tow company who promptly towed away the rental and delivered a replacement sedan (from Orlando Airport) to the Airbnb where I am staying near Winter Haven. I highly recommend Discount Tire to anyone who would appreciate professional, enthusiastic, respectful, and extremely competant affordable service! read more

Very disappointed. Came here with a screw in my tire. All they had to do was remove and repair it. I was told it wouldn't take about 45 minutes. And here I am two hours later still waiting. read more

Let me begin by saying that my family has shopped Discount Tire for most of my life. For my car, I knew the brand/model/size tire I wanted and shopped around to find the best deal. Discount Tire didn't have the best deal this time but I found that they price match. So after speaking with one of the store managers, and understanding that I needed to bring in the winning quote fir them to match, I booked an appointment for service. I had already ordered my tires in advance so I knew they were there in stock. We arrived at the store earlier than our appointment and waited for just a few min before a store associate was open to help us. He looked over the quote, took my keys, examined my old tires on the car and gave me a completion time of less than an hour. They were completed in the time period he gave me. This Discount Tire store did not let me down. Four Michelin Defender Tires ($192 each + tax-$60 discount for buying 4 tires). read more

This place has no respect for your time and their customer service is horrible. Stay away. They let me sit for 45 minutes and never told me my car was done. I had to look it up myself with there text link to find out it was done. read more

Very frustrated and disappointed in Discount Tire in Winter Haven today. I took our Church van there to buy four new tires and they would not accept our state issued Consumer's Certificate of Exemption from sales tax for the transaction, even though their website says to take the certificate to your local Discount Tire store. Employees not trained to handle this situation. Pastor K.C. read more

We have bought several sets of tires here. The staff have always been so incredibly helpful. They go above and beyond what we need. Our tires were not near as expensive as we expected and last for many years! read more

Travis A closed out my open appointment and treated me as a walk in and told me I'd have to wait 2 hours. I was there less than 5 mins after he closed out the appt. Lack of explanation to established time policies for open appts and terrible customer service. Argumentative, never again going to this place. read more

My experience with his discount tire was great. In the past of used the Pep Boys across the street, but this time I was in urgent need of tires, and Pep Boys did not have a competitively price selection on hand. Discount tire did, so I made an appointment online so I picked my tires. It was very busy, however since I had an appointment and my car was taken in right away. I had a blowout so I had a donut on one of my wheels. The technician had asked is the wheel in the trunk, and I said yes. They took out the flat tire and wheel and noticed that the rim was bent when trying to balance. Luckily, they sell rims so everything's fine and dandy and the service is well above average. Everyone was polite. This felt like the Publix of tire shops. They did forget to put the spare back but the manager, Michael, called me and remedied that. read more

This is the best tire store I've ever been to. They are exceedingly professional, courteous, and efficient. The store is clean. the equipment is modern and the staff running it are knowledgeable. Not even sure why the hell anyone bothers going to the other tire stores around lol. They've taken care of many of my high end vehicles with care. Highly recommend this discount tire read more

I have been a discount tire customer for over 4 years at this location. I have never had the best customer service and trust from this employee name "Wes". I would trust and purchase any product due to the honesty and service he owners. read more

Every time I come, they give me an estimated time of completion and never get it done, whether it's 1.5 hours or 2 hours. I bought tires on another visit, made an appointment and still had an over 2 hour wait. Today, I called at 1046 and asked what was the wait time for a flat repair. They said 1.5 hours because it would be a walk-in. I asked did they have appointments for today and they said NO. I arrived at 11 and waited in line 10 minutes to check in and was told it would be done in 1hr and 10 minutes (1222). It's 1230 and they still have not pulled my car in. When asked about the wait, they said they had "unexpected appointments" and we were given an incorrect wait time. How do they have "unexpected appointments" if there were NO appointments available at 1046?! I really despise being given a mouth of deception. I had to cancel appointments today because of these lies. It's 1246 and they have FINALLY pulled my car in. It's just a simple flat repair and rotation..... UGH read more

Discount Tire - EST time of completion 12:22.... It's 12:51 and they just started on it - Tires Near Me - Winter Haven, Florida

My son went to have tires rotated for trip home. Shop claimed they broke a wrench trying to get one lug nut off and refused to try further. Tires were last rotated by a different Discount Tire so if anything is over-torqued it was by them! What kind of tire shop doesn't try to get wheels off a car? How do you stay in business if you cannot service repeat customers? I have purchased 5 sets of tires for 5 different cars from Discount Tire over the last 5 years (including the set on my son's car he was trying to have rotated), all on record with them but no more. I will take my business to Costco. read more

I had a screw in one of my Michelin tires. I am in Lake Suzy so there is no discount tire close to me. Called the one in Winter Haven and they said to come on up. I arrived around 1:00 o'clock and they got me in within 10 minutes. My tire warranty is with Discount Tire. Kyle and Wesley were the two service writers I worked with. The tire was fixed within 45 minutes at no charge. These guys were polite and professional. I will continue to do business with Discount Tire. Just hope they build one around Port Charlotte. They had the tires I wanted but because I was laid off from Disney I realized what I want is different from what I could afford, so they made some recommendations and I was still able to put four much needed new tires on my car. I always have the best experience at Discount Tire in Winter Haven, FL. Asst Manager Cyle knows my name when I come in and always goes out of his way to help me. The staff there are truly the best. I wish I knew all their names as they all deserve a shout out! read more

The service was so amazing from the moment that I arrived in a tow truck with my van. They met me before I could even get out of the truck to help me. They then informed me that I had the wrong tires on my vehicle. They took great care of me. Brad was very genuine and showed that he care. He told me that he just wanted me to be safe out there driving. All I could do is cry because of his acts of kindness. He could have just let me walk out of there with the wrong tires, like other companies did; but he didn't. The other companies are just looking for a sale. This place really cares, everyone speaks, hold the door. The customer service is just unbelievable. To God be the glory I walked with 4 new tires that were for my vehicle. Trust me you will not go anywhere else once you experience this. Big shout out to Brad and the rest of the team over at Discount. God bless all of you! You are greatly appreciated! read more

Being a car guy and 62 years young I have to say the gang at Discount Tires Winter Haven, FL is THE BEST I'v come across. Something is wrong here. You can see the reviews are good, but I would be circumspect if I were you. This is my experience. Summer of 2021 went into this store to buy 4 new tires. They had several adults working there but they had kids from a high school shop class (or maybe a vocational school) install my tires while 4 men stood around and (partially) watched them. One child opened my power rear gate and it struck another child who was holding a tire. That was the highlight of their expertise and professionalism. They upsold me on the wipers and I thought by maximizing my purchase that would increase the customer service performance. Of course I was wrong. None of the prices felt like a discount and the quality of service was subpar to put it mildly. All of this was a shame because I visited one of their sister stores in Lakeland 18 months earlier and they provided good service and a quality product. My advice, caveat emptor. read more

I almost never review companies but I had to for this experience. I was visiting LEGOLAND from Fort Lauderdale and had a screw in my tire. It was Saturday at 3:30pm and needed it fixed before leaving Monday morning. After being turned away by a competitor I called and they told me to come in immediately. Not only did they fix it right before close on Saturday night of a long weekend they did it for FREE!! Cyle (the manager?) was so nice and efficient in his job. Too bad I don't live around here or I'd be a customer for life. I took care of the young kid who did the work so hopefully he's happy too. 6 stars! read more

Outstanding! I drove from Lakeland to visit this location based on its 5 star review. I made an appointment earlier in the day for a simple tire puncture repair and drove about an hour and a half round trip. Jacob (they call him Jake) checked me in and a short time later I received a text saying my car was ready. I spoke to Wes on the way out who cleared my tire warning light. My visit was extremely pleasant and I would drive here again for any type of service and I'll be buying new tires here soon. I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else and with their price price matching function on their website, there's no reason to shop anywhere else. read more
