I was well on my way, too far to turn back, when brake warning lights started to come on. I stopped at the next safe spot and discovered brake fluid leaking at the left rear wheel. GPS told me an O'Rileys was the closest parts store. Arrived and told the young man (who I later learned was Braiden Patrick) at the counter what my predicament was. He stated by pricing brake hoses for me but said we needed to know which hose it was and offered to come out and take a look for me. To shorten the story a little, he helped determine the it was the piston that was leaking and proceeded to almost completely do the replacement job for me (in the parking lot with some sleet and light snow falling, and with tools from the store). All this without asking for a dime. Needless to say I can not recommend this store highly enough. Talk about going far beyond superior! But ford said they were done with the door back in July.. so why didn't I get the car sometime in July ..? I call Toyota they told me to call ford ... ford said it needed a regulator in the door and that Toyota was the one that actually took the old regulator off the old door and put it on the NEW ONE ?! I got an offer online to sell my car at Classic Nissan for about $4,500. Because I live about an…read morehour away, I explicitly asked Kimberly when she called if $4,500 was a reasonable estimate of the final offer and was told yes. Their final offer was $2,500. The reason? Not the tires, the condition of the interior or exterior, or any mechanical issues with the car, which they told me were all in surprisingly good shape for a car of its age -- it was the model year and the accident history, both of which I honestly reported on the online form and they could have viewed on the CarFax or AutoCheck reports. I recognize that dealerships can't give a final offer until they've appraised the vehicle. I do not understand why they can't give me an accurate, good-faith initial offer when I honestly disclosed the only factors bringing down the value at the very beginning. The one positive of my experience was Henry, who sat and chatted with me for the half hour I spent at the dealership. Otherwise, this was one of exceedingly few one-star experiences in my life.

I called them because of the great review(I think some are from when Sue was across the street). Phone convo was great and I took my truck there. They installed my Trans(let's say Lance put it in and that was that). Picked up my truck drove home. I opened the hood to find my Trans lines cut, dangling around and leaking Trans fluid all over the place. Installation was mediocre at best. My trans cooler was held on by the smallest loose Zip ties. About two extra feet of hose on both sides hanging and clamps on Trans line... NO FLARE. Trans leaking at the yoke..... fast forward to two weeks ago. Brought my truck in 9-08-2026 for the leak that was there when they installed it. They said it was dry and no leak. I begged them to look inside the Tail Shaft housing to see if there was a messed up Yoke Seal.... That's when they threw the "we're the experts" line and we got into an argument. They charged me $375 for warranty work and they NEVER checked the Yoke seal like I asked 9-11-2026. I was P-d off so Monday, 9-14-2026, I called the Trans company and told them my situation.... And what do you know... The Trans Manufacturer told me that MY Transmission is missing...the YOKE SEAL that the S&L Tech knew nothing about, and didn't check like I asked. Trans company sent out the part that I needed and Trans fluid, got it Wednesday 9-16-2026. Trans Company also said take it to a BETTER, CERTIFIED Trans shop. In MY experience it was Shade Tree with a shop. You would get better results going to your local High School shop class. I know there will be a rebuttal.... but I have Receipts...Yes Receipts, Pictures, Videos, Emails some recorded phone convos and a messed up oil stained Driveway that yall can come look at in real time.... today is 9-20-2026...... Avoid this place.
