This store is BRAND NEW! I called to get the torque specs on my lugs! Joey was absolutely awesome... super friendly and didn't talk down to me cause I was a girl!! (This is a big deal for me - especially when it comes to my car). While on the phone I priced out some new front tires and again he was so accommodating and didn't make me feel rushed and again didn't make me feel like a girl! I know where I'm going for my tires needs!!! Thanks Joey!! read more

I buy all my tires from here and purchase the warranties to cover any unforeseen occurrences. Had a flat due to two nails and they took care off me for free. Service was incredibly slow but good. Employees were nice and thorough. Great slow service, great employees and thorough service. All things considered, I am happy doing business with these folks. read more

Texas is a big state. One thought about Texas is that everything is bigger in Texas. One thing about being in Metropolitan area of Houston is that you start noticing certain aspects of your area. One thing I observed is that unless you are in a high dollar community, you will not have sidewalks. Everyone is bigger in Texas because you have to drive everywhere! Discount Tires is a necessity because with all the constant construction, you are bound to mess up a tire. This nationwide chain makes it a lot easier to replace or repair your tires when the need eventually arise. Is this a fancy place? No! You may find a store or two with bottled water and/or coffee. You are going to a garage full of tires, and no one trust a clean mechanic. Come here for free air checks for your tires, as well as free tires rotations. They do price match, and generally have great pricing for a variety of tires. Make certain you try to haggle the pricing just to see if you can save yourself a few more dollars. You get tires from here to ensure peace of mind in the future. read more

I have used Discount Tire's chain for years and have never had a problem. But I encountered a big problem at the Livingston location a few days ago when I came in to get a leak in my tire fixed. I got there a bit after opening so there was a line and it was a bit of a wait before someone helped me but I understood that. My tires aren't very old so I was a little put off when the guy looking at my tire immediately tried to sell me a new set but I also understand the hussle. I was told they could fix the leak so I handed over my keys and waited. But after an hour I checked their app for an eta of my survice and saw it was estimated to take 3 hours. Now, I thought this must be a gross overestimation of time and would change once my car was rolled into their garage. Nope. I waited there for 3 hours just to get a leak fixed. Only to be told, by the person who pulled my car out, that the leak could not be fixed and I would have to pay for a new tire that they put on without asking me. And this was also not told to the staff inside handling payment since he looked as baffled about that as I felt. Now, I don't know a lot about cars. But I have had nails in my tires before, ones that stayed in the tires for much longer then the one I was there for and another location not only patched it, they did in within 1 hour. Waiting 3 hours for a patch job the turned out to be a full tire replacement that was not disclosed to me or the other staff handling my payment seems extremally unprofessional and, honestly? Scammy. The only plus I had that morning were the wiper replacements. I am not coming back to this location and would advise other against going since I saw quite a few people that were just as stuck as I was so it wasn't an isolated issue on me. Maybe they were having an off day but if I dropped the ball so badly at my place of work? I would be fired. read more

To start off I have been coming to this business for years and I have 3 vehicles I get tires for here. In past have always had no issues but today I got here early like I always do and there where people already waiting (at least 4-5 people steady waiting) issue was when store opened and employees walked out (didn't ask who had been waiting) but took new people that had just arrived and parked and got out of thier vehicles leaving all 4-5 people except one standing there. Team meetings should be taught that this should've been taken into consideration "why do you think all these people got there and waited" I tried to tell one of the employees they had left all the people that were there first standing at front door And simply told someone would be with me. read more

Well to start this review let's just say if you ever have any issues with your car tire wise then look no further and drive straight to discount tire in Livingston Texas! First of all the manager Chris is absolutely amazing, he is so helpful, understanding, and literally will help you make a bad situation into a good one! I do advise that if you do end up buying new tires to definitely get four new tires but without a doubt and GET the warranty! It may cost extra now but I promise you in the future you will thank me! For example the situation that happened to me.... I followed my heart and not my gut and let one of my friends borrow my car, Don dada dun.... Well let's just say they supposedly, uhh huhhhh, their story is hit something in the road, but I've had this car since 2011 and I can tell you they definitely were texting and driving, they just did not want to tell me! But whatever that is water under the bridge now, unfortunately I lost a friend over this but what made everything better was discount tire!! I had purchased four new tires about a year ago actually a little more than a year ago (end of 2020) from this same discount tire and let's just say they helped me by giving me an amazing deal on four brand new rims and ended up giving me two free tires due to them putting it underneath the warranty that I got in late 2020!! So all I ended up having to purchase was two new tires and that was for my choice because I didn't want to have two new and two old tires and four brand new rims which equaled out to be only $1000!!! Which yes is a lot of money but if I would not have had that warranty or the service that Polk County Discount Tire gives to our community it could've cost me thousands and thousands of dollars!! So basically long story short I got four brand new tires and four brand new rims which I will update the picture soon of once I get it back for about $1000 and honestly I don't think you can beat that! I cannot recommend this discount tire more than any other discount tire in America! So even if you're just passing through or if you are local without a doubt check out Discount Tire of Polk County! read more

I'm so glad this Discount Tire is here, that way I don't have to go out of my way to the Conroe or Humble location. Gabe was very friendly and professional, he took care of my flat tire and rotated my tires for free. Thank God for warranties because the piece of metal in my tire created a hole to big to patch. read more

Discount Tire - The culprit that was removed from my tire. - Tires Near Me - Livingston, Texas

I had a trailer tire gone on me that I changed myself on the highway. Discount was able to get me a new tire mounted right away so I still had a spare. The manager at the time was a super nice guy and very friendly. The people in the shop were great too. The outstanding customer service definitely puts this shop a step above the rest. I recently took my zero turn lawnmower in to them to air up the two front tubeless tires that had gone flat. These guys were able to get both tires aired back up and even plugged a small hole in one of them. All while the mower was still on the trailer. They were very pleasant and friendly throughout the entire transaction. And even though it was fairly close to their closing time when I went in, I never felt rushed. Best of all, they didn't charge me a dime. They've guaranteed my repeat business should the need arise. I highly recommend. read more

I just want to say that I wished I lived closer JUST to THIS location! They are all life savors from Chris on the phone, to Taylor assisting as a soon as I got in store, to Gabe! On my way driving from Houston to Chicago and my front tire caught a nail, then a flat seeing if it could be plugged. This location happened to be closest to me at the time and I promise you it was nothing but the good Lord! Needed a used tire, thought Discount Tire only does new tires. This location happened to have used tires, thankfully! Being that my tire wasn't safe to save, they gave me a used tires FOR FREE! Very genuine on road safety, especially knowing I'm just beginning my journey. They were able to quote me on tires for when I am ready, making it known that it needs to be down ASAP. Either way, this location lifted my spirits and if I could give 10 stars I would! Thanks y'all! read more

I always have a positive experience here. The staff are professional and fast. Great people. I have all my tire work done through here.

The employees were nice and professional. I had an awful morning because of a flat. They helped me fix my tire and they did not take long. I'm so glad Walmart didn't have my tire size because I saved so much money coming here. read more
