I can't say enough great things about Jon O. at Discount Tire in Boerne! He was incredibly kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to assist me with a warranty issue involving my BFGoodrich tires. He personally took the time to speak with BFGoodrich and advocate on my behalf, and I truly appreciate his dedication and customer service. This is exactly why Discount Tire is the only place I'll go for tires. The entire team is top-notch, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about their customers. Thank you, Jon, for going the extra mile! read more

He checked out my tire and made some helpful recommendations. The best part is that I was in and out and under an hour. I will definitely be a return customer. read more

These guys are always very fast and professional. My tires came in a day before my appointment and they called me and got me in a day early. I showed up and my truck was immediately taken in to be worked on. Had locking lug nuts with no key, and they handled that issue without any trouble. Matthew was great. read more

I had an appointment for first available on Monday and they called me Saturday to say they were slow and asked if I wanted to come in now they could take care of me immediately. So I did and they did. They met me at my vehicle as I pulled up and from there the service was on point. The vehicle went almost straight into the bay after quick paperwork was done and service from three technicians began just as quickly. The price for four excellent tires was a good and fair price so I could not ask for anything better. From the start to the very quick finish, I was treated like a valued customer by employees who actually care and I received quick attention and fast service. This is the only place I will ever take my vehicle to in the future for tires. read more

We had a worn out patch on our rear tire! So we drove to the nearest discount tire since I know they do the patches for free, if available. Zeke took care of us, forgive me if the name is incorrect, though I know it started with a Z. He was one of the managers there. Zeke was amazing and so attentive! He had the best customer service! He replaced my tire as quickly as he could to get us on our way. I really appreciate people who can give a great customer connection. You hardly see hard working managers too. Anyways I'm grateful! Thank you Zeke! read more

We were visiting Texas on a vacation recently. We noticed that we had a screw and a nail in two different tires on our rental car. The store was busy but we received prompt, professional and quality service. Staff was courteous and friendly. The facility was clean as were the employees. The tire was repaired at no charge as is the store policy. All businesses should strive to deliver the service that this Discount Tire provides. I highly recommend this business. Mike read more

I have been taking my cars there for years. It has always been a great place to fix flats or put on new tires.

Was in town to visit Grandkids- my tires on truck were awful. So I made an appointment online for 4 new tires. This is the friendliest, most courteous and hard working group I've seen in a long time. They were fast and met all my needs 100%. I couldn't be happier with the service, prices and quality that I received. I highly recommend the Discount Tire in Boerne! read more

First the bad. My daughter got there at 9:30 today and didn't leave until 1:00. The gentleman working at the counter told her when she paid for it. It would be done by 12:00. Her husband got there at 12:00 and asked why it was not even looked at yet. Still parked outside! They took it back at that moment and was done by 12:45! I am truly upset about this because she had my grandkids with her and they told her it would be done by 12:00. Good part is it was done. The tire is good. I know I won't be going there. Over all why it took so long and for my son-n-law had to say something. Don't say it will be done at this time if it won't be done. read more

The best place to get tires! They're honest and straightforward on what they recommend as the best tires for your car and tell you why. Quality kind service is genuine from everyone that works there. Actually all of the above is what I've experienced at every location I've ever been to across Texas with the different vehicles I've owned. I won't go anywhere else and always recommend Discount Tire as the go to place for wheels and tires! read more

Wow!!! So after an initial issue (no fault of the staff at this store, a mixup from another store/representative) I was pretty unhappy. I drove 60 miles to this store instead of 20 miles to the closest store due to the experience with both stores (the closest store having provided a poor experience). I was leaving when the manager approached and asked to speak with me. After a brief conversation, I decided to go ahead with the service. Not only did this manager go out of his way to make things right, it was seriously done in a time frame that was incredible. I received the tires I wanted at a deal that couldn't have been better. This man not only kept true to his word, he over delivered on every aspect. Truly the best experience I have had! The managers name is Michael Castillo. This man is a shining example of customer service and integrity! I will 100% take the extra time and distance to drive to this store EVERY time for my tire needs from today forward!!! read more

I had an emergency today. My aunt fell and was severely injured and I had to rush to the hospital but of course I was very emotional while driving and accidentally hit a barbed wire fence and got some stuck in the tire. I freaked out. I wasn't going to make it to the hospital to say goodbye. I rushed over to discount tire. One of the gentleman immediately helped me. I asked if he could just look to see if I would make it to the hospital or not. Unfortunately, the tire needed to be replaced. The employees here were amazing. They immediately took my keys and got my truck into the bay. They fixed my tire in less than 20 minutes and had me back on the road. I made it to the hospital just in time to say goodbye and I wouldn't have been able to do that without them. My heart is so sad but I am SO grateful for every person there that helped. I seriously cannot thank you all enough. From the bottom of my heart, thank you thank you thank you so much. read more

Boerne location: When I called to schedule an appointment, spoke with JT to schedule appointment for the following Saturday. He refused to schedule the appointment over the phone and told me to go online to schedule. I let him know I was driving and would not be near a computer for many hours and would like to schedule the appointment. He told me it was too much work for him to go into the computer to schedule the appointment and that I had to go online to schedule it. I told him this was poor customer service and he started arguing with me that it was not poor customer service. We ended the call and I immediately called the De Zavala location. They happily scheduled me for service while on the phone. read more

My tires needed replacement. I took my car into Discount Tire in Boerne without an appointment and they worked it into the schedule. They installed my new tires that day. I discovered that I had a nail in my tire at 5 PM. I called to see if they had time before they closed at 6 to get me in. They said come on down. I arrived at 5:20. I expected that they were slow because they said to bring it in. They were not. Lobby full of customers, lot was full of cars. First, they were some of the nicest service advisors I have ever met. They were busy but treated every customer with respect and courtesy. I was out by 6:20 and on my way home. No charge! Additionally they were putting on a clinic on management (actually I think it was just there daily wrap up). I watched as a Sr. service advisor worked with an early career staffer. He complemented him on his work for the day. Cited several specific things he had done well. He then made a couple suggestions on things to improve, and how he might handle some specific situations differently. All very politely and with the intent of improving that staffer's performance. There is a real feel of the employees being invested in the success of the company. Refreshing to see and missing in so many businesses today. I highly recommend this as the place to visit if you have a tire or wheel issue, or just want new wheels on your ride. read more

I went there last week and asked the bald headed dude if I can get a single lug nut, he said that I needed a new stud and that id have to get a whole new set.I knew this was BS, so I went back there today and the tall dude with the stache provided me with a single lug nut, completely free. Woke up Saturday to find my right rear tire pressure was super low (thanks TPMS!). So I drove down and walked into the very clean and socially distanced lobby/front desk area. They had alcohol gel hand cleaner readily available and glass partitions between the checkin registers. The customer seating area was very well spread out. I felt reassured that they so many COVID19 safety measures in place. I was promptly checked in by Salesperson Michael Aguilera, who was very courteous and professional. He answered all my questions thoroughly. Another extremely courteous staff member came back ~30 minutes later and gave me my keys... Tire had been repaired... no charge for the flat repair! This is now my go-to place for any and all tire/wheel concerns. They were clean, fast, professional and so friendly; reminding me of mom & pop shops and local garages from my younger days over 30+ years ago. This is NOT what I've come to expect from chain stores and retail shops nowadays. What a refreshing difference! Thanks Discount Tire and all the great team members that work there. You made me my day. read more

Great experience. Drove over a screw last night and got a flat. Scheduled my appointment after hours online for 8:30 this morning. Jason checked me in and gave awesome service. Discount Tire - Ole girl getting some new shoes - Wheel & Rim Repair Near Me - Boerne, Texas

Whew! These guys are life savers! I was driving down some hot Texas highway, and got something that just shredded my tire. I came limping into the Boerne Discount Tire on a donut just before closing time. They saw that I was in rough shape, and had me pull in and get things fixed right up. The clerk came out and inspected my other bald tires, and recommended a new set. I could see that he wasn't kidding, I really didn't have much tread to begin with. So I got a whole new set. The installation, disposal of old tires, and warranty cost nearly as much as the tires themselves, but their warranty is awesome. It's pulled me out of a pinch multiple times. I sat under a canopy of oak trees while I waited for the tires to be replaced, which really didn't take long at all. I was disappointed that the mechanics couldn't figure out how to replace the spare donut under the car, but I got that taken care of when I got home. In all, they got me in and out of there quickly, and I know that their warranty might just save my butt one day. Since they're located all over this part of the country, the odds of one being somewhat nearby if I ever have a tire malfunction are pretty good! The service was friendly, and I appreciated that they make good recommendations on the tire types and services offered. read more

Got me worked in fast when I had horses on the trailer with a nail in a tire. Nice crew.

Second time here and still very impressed by their customer service. Had tires replaced on two cars all within hours of each other. Excellent system, excellent service, excellent hiring. Don't lose touch with the work that you do and the people that appreciate you for doing it! In a world where we could all change our own tires if we wanted to, there's a reason not everyone does. Thanks so much for continuing to offer your service and for making it painless! read more

This location has really gone downhill. I've been a long time customer (over 7 years) since moving to Boerne, and taken all my vehicles here for various issues over the years. Today I had an appointment for a balance and rotation and had the worst experience. It started yesterday. I had an appointment which was made two weeks prior for Saturday, 7/22. I received both an email and text confirmation. On Friday I received a random text saying my appointment had been canceled by the store. No call, no heads up, just canceled. I immediately called the store and spoke to a nice gentleman who had no record of the appointment but stated he would reschedule it at the original time and to come in as planned. I arrived this morning at around 8:20 and they were busy. However there were several employees standing around and I had to wait 20 minutes to be helped. When I finally got to talk to someone, he had no record of my appointment and blamed it on a "glitch." When we went to look at my vehicle, he told me I needed new wiper blades - I don't. I just replaced them at Christmas barely 6 months ago. Then he proceeded to use scare tactics to tell me I needed new tires. I know I will need them soon, but not now. I took my business down the road and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I asked about my tire tread, and as I expected, the guy told me it was time to start thinking about new tires in the next 6-12 months. After the poor service experience, scare tactics they're using now, and up selling for no reason, I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future. It's sad, because as my prior review shows, I've previously recommended this business. No more. read more

Called ahead to see if I needed an appointment to get my tires rotated & balance, they strongly encouraged it. Took care of my vehicle last week & my husband's truck this week. Dropped new horse trailer tires off to mounted on the rims; my request was for balance and pressure at 125 PSI (per manufacture). When the work was completed, I picked them and asked (to confirm) that they were all balanced and inflated to 125 PSI - I was told, "yes." I mounted the wheels on the trailer in prep for a 3-hour haul with horses but the tires looked a little low, so I checked the pressure - three were at 70 PSI and one was at 56 PSI...very unsafe pressures that could have left me with multiple blowouts with horses onboard. Trust factor now equals zero... read more
