There is absolutely no accountability within this company. Sherry has the worst customer service and is obviously in the wrong field of work. We placed an order for 3 round tables, 40 chairs, 2 heaters, and tablecloths all for pickup and when we arrived we were told the heaters weren't even at that warehouse. We then agreed to come back in an hour which would of been noon to pick the heaters up. 5 mins before the agreed upon time to pick the heaters up we received a call from sherry saying she was "in Dallas to pick the heaters up and she had no clue what time she would be back with them" it was clearly stated to her we needed them by 1 pm since we had already tried to pick them up with the tables and again at noon. She didn't show up with the heaters until 2pm. That's 4 hours after the pick up time. Then we go to put the heaters together and we weren't even given the correct pieces. We made it work because we had no other choice. Monday we return the rentals and after she rants to my husband about how she doesn't care if they lose business, tries to put blame on us for placing an order for pick up with the heaters when that's a delivery only item ( how would we know that when sherry is the one who took our order over the phone), I say to her by the way the piece to heaters weren't right they didn't fit. She proceeds to yell at me, saying we didn't pay for anything, WE DID. We were reimbursed for the heaters but not for the tables, chairs, table clothes, or time she wasted of ours by showing up FOUR HOURS late with an item that we had already driven back to the warehouse for a decoy date time. But the kicker of her yelling at me was her telling my husband to handle me as if he owned me. Beyond disrespectful, distasteful, and down right gross. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and do business with anyone but Discount Event Rentals, especially if sherry is still employed there. read more
