They don't usually do installation but in this case they did for me. They provided the cheapest quote out of three others I saw ($1100 less! ). There is no sales pitch or attitude that you often get from well known flooring companies like carpet court. Michael the owner is straight up. There was a bit of a hick up with the installer, but he made sure it got done and even helped out himself. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I'm really happy with their service and would recommend them to anyone.

And once I'd made my decision, although he has other carpet fitters he came and fitted my carpets himself. He removed the old carpets and took them away, he cleared all the old tacks and staples from the floors, and put down all fresh underlay. And he was quick, neat and efficient - again all one could wish for in a tradesman. As to whether my carpets are good value for money, only time will tell of course. But I'm very happy with them, they look great!

One of there main points of advertisement is their 24 Hour service this is not the case since one night i got locked out of my bloody car after i had a few glasses of "Apple Juice" at 4 am, Yes that's right these lazy bastards couldn't get them asses out of bed and drive to the pub to unlock my car. So i had to get a bloody cab back to my house and hired a tow truck to tow my car back. $2,500 dollars all because my car was locked. I am shocked and appalled by the service of this business and i hope they are ashamed of themselves. Jk I am joking the tow truck was only 2k but the rest was true.

Not that I've had a lot of experience with carpet cleaners to really compare the businesses, but I…read morereally liked the experience we had with O'Shea's when we were moving out of our rented apartment last year. With a name like O'Shea's, what do you know, we had an Irish carpet cleaner come to our apartment right on the time he said he'd be there, which is always a good start. Now, the only other experience I've had with a carpet cleaner was this: he came to my house, cleaned the carpet, gave me the bill and left. What I really liked about the guy from O'Shea's is that he told us exactly what he was doing and why it had to be done. Thanks, dude! It's always good to know your money isn't going to waste.

I have coveted genuine floorboards for many years after making the mistake of installing laminate…read morefloating floors a few years back, what a total waste of my hard earned$$$$$ that was. A couple of years ago I started researching replacing them. I went to the chain carpet places, and all the floor places on Magill Road. Most of these places recommended Engineered timber boards, but having been disappointed by laminate I wasn't so certain. True these stores had a range of solid timber, but wow was it pricey, over $200 sq m laid in some quotes. Then one day the lovely "Mr Bracegirdle" from the chocolate cafe, told me all about the floors in his shop and the contact # of his installer. This tradie highly recommended European floors. The showroom is wonderful, the range of timbers extensive and the staff both knowledgeable and helpful. I picked a timber unavailable at the other stores which was extremely competitively priced, they stored it for free for 4 months, arranged reasonably priced delivery. Now this process isn't for people with OCD, I've have 60sq being laid and it will take over a week, but it's looking fantastic and will last for a very long time

So I'm in the process of figuring out whether to purchase new carpet for the floors or not. I figured I'd go to a few places and see what was out there. I like to hear the opinions of those who I consider to be "in the know" The staff were a bit hesitant to offer suggestions which I found a bit surprising, but they provided a few suggestions that sounded pretty good. I still haven't made a decision on what to do yet, but I'll be keeping this place in mind.
