This place & the women who make it run are MAGIC! I brought in a threadbare hoodie with logo of the band my husband played in while at UK in early 80's. Asia was able to get the logo just right & Angie was so patient as she helped me pick out colors. The whole process took mere minutes! Plus 2 shop dogs and a sleeping cat?! Dirty Tease has some of the most hilariously created T shirts...and I love it! I love the raunchy humor that some have, and how a lot pertain to popular culture. I've walked by Dirty Tease so many times. And I finally got a reason to go in! I needed 11 T-shirts for a bachelorette weekend ... by the following day. When I looked online, the soonest I could get shirts was in five days, even on a little known site that rhymes with "Shmamazon." So I thought I'd give Dirty Tease a try. They directed me to come in and chat with them. I whipped up a design for the shirts, though if I had not they could have helped me with that too. And I emailed it to the shop. Not only did I get the shirts the following day, but they were cheaper than the shirts I found online. This was a good reminder to shop local whenever possible. The shirts and the screen print seem like good quality. Plus Dirty Tease has two adorable shop pups, including a bulldog, you get to see when you go in. Dirty Tease also carries a large line of readymade T-shirts if you're looking for a Louisville-themed T. I'm looking forward to needing more T-shirts soon and using Dirty Tease. read more

Dirty Tease was a blessing. My friends and I needed shirts for a bachelorette party but we did not want to spend a ton of money ordering one. I called Dirty Tease and they said they could make the shirts the same day. The bride and I went to get our shirts made and the workers are so friendly. They gave us suggestions on what our shirts can look like and answered any questions we had. We brought our own shirts but they have some for same also. It cost 20 dollars to get the print pressed on. Everything looked great. All of my friends were happy with their shirts. If I need a shirt made for an event, Dirty Tease will be the first place I go to. read more

Browsing Bardstown Rd on foot my husband and I found Dirty Tease, a t-shirt shop full of hilarious tees. We stood and read the wall for 15 minutes laughing at most of them. On the other side are Louisville themed tees, including some for specific neighborhoods (Tyler Park, Bonnycastle). Basic tees are $20 with the printed message or you could get a baseball tee for $27. I also spotted tanks which I assume also run for $20. My husband said he needed one is these tees in his life so we'll probably be back with our kids in tow. I need a t-shirt for a special event (Brad's UYE) and I wanted to be as 1% as possible so I needed a tuxedo shirt (I'm fancy, but I like to party) HOWEVER I am very busy being ridiculous, watching Netflix, and folding origami and let the week get away from me. I was in a bind, Brad's soiree was in hours and my fairy god mother wasn't turning this pumpkin into something fetch any time soon. So, I show up in Dirty Tease and look at their store (they essentially make the shirt for you after you pick from a design). They not only whipped up the two shirts I needed but they nay nay'ed! Okay, I'm making that up but they did what I want everyone to do: MAKE MY LACK OF PLANNING YOUR EMERGENCY. The design I wanted wasn't listed, the young lady found one and put it together for me while the other young lady helped me pick colors. The ladies literally stopped what they were doing to help me! I should take away a whole star for feeding into my white male privilege but I am over the moon. Also, the price wasn't bad at all! It was less than I was prepared to spend! I am still thrilled. Jessica and I were the belles of the ball; easily the fanciest people at the bar, Shakespeare in the Park, and the taco place we went. I will be back one million times! Fun facts: 1. They have a dog named Webster (and I really feel like if humans can let their children roam the world higgledy-piggledy why can't our dogs? Lease laws are for children, too!) 2. I don't live too far from this place and have always walked by the storefront getting a laugh or two from their shirts on display. So, it only seemed right to stop by when my ER shift work thwarted my attempts to get a green St. Paddy's Day t-shirt for our weekend getaway in Chicago. I kid you not when I say I walked up in there not even 48 hours before we planned on taking off expecting them to be 100% cleaned out of all their green shirts and quirky Louisville St. Pat's attire. Not to mention, this year's festivities will occur in 30 degree weather and no one had festive sweatshirts. I'm usually a great planner, but school has recently thrown me for a loop in regards to my social life. As luck would have it the owners (and their nice fluffy dog) walked me through the process of picking out a nice sweater and a screen print to go on it. They ordered the sweatshirt that night and got it in and done 24 hours later. They even gave me a call when it was done. They only required a 50% deposit and were even willing to order the green sweater for me not knowing if I'd pick a design out and come back the next day. I went ahead and picked one out, paid it off, and left a happy camper. Ironically the night before we saw this shop we had been looking for a tee shirt online that said "Pizza. Booze. Telly." We wanted it as a gift for a fellow Dr. Who fan. We couldn't find one anywhere and were perplexed at the lack of fan loving online. So when we were walking across the street and turned to see this place advertising original and custom made Tee-Shirts. We immediately ran across the street and were sure we would find it. We spent a long time checking out the pre-printed shirts and cracking up, but no Pizza. Booze. Telly.. so we of course asked how to make this happen. This shop is run by the sweetest couple who just were nice as can be. So for $25 I chose the font, size, and color and they made this unique fanshirt for my brother-in-law, because of course that night was a Pizza (Tony Boombozz), Booze (well, maybe a beer) and Telly (Dr. Who) night and we wanted him to represent. Top Shelf Graphic-T! I was looking for a shop to find an impromptu Band T-Shirt. Unfortunately, this is not a t-shirt shop with a plethora of available styles. Fortunately, this is an amazing T-Shirt shop that can create an original shirt. The store was very well kept and pretty basic. A couple of shirt choices in a corner, a few premade graphic tee designs, and then a counter of ladies ready to go all creative on your cotton! The prices are around average, $25 for your base model. The shop will even let you bring in a shirt to get beautified. The customer service was very helpful even though they couldn't really help us at that point. Love this place. The staff helped us make some wonderful custom T-shirts for an event we participated in last weekend. With little direction and some of our own art work, they were able to create T-shirts that were a huge hit and we'll be the pride of our wardrobe for some time to come. I have passed this shop so many times on my Bardstown Road journeys. Always with wanting to go in someday, but constantly forgetting to do so. Finally I went on a whim, with some creative juices flowing looking to get a custom T-Shirt design. I was greeted by the coolest and friendliest folks, and their 4 month old pup. The shop is ran by a couple who are always there to help you, and tirelessly working to make sure they're selling the wittiest and best designs around; with pre-made apparel and same day customs. I went in with an idea, and left with 2 amazingly designed tee shirts. The process is very simple, you pick a blank shirt, you sit down with a designer to sketch up your design, and in about 30 minutes or less you have a Dirty Tease original shirt! I'm very happy I finally went in, and am in love with their- "takeout customs" service :) I'll be sure to recommend this place to anyone in need of a story to tell, that can only be told via a graphic tee! read more

Super nice and helpful staff, nice selection and prices. They special ordered some sizes and colors for my grandsons and printed a full color logo, could not have been a better experience! Overnight service, probably would have been done on the spot if they had these odd sizes in stock. They even offered to print their logo on the inside of the shirts, in cause it might cause the boys to get comments when they wore them...usually the logo is on the outside back neck.
