Our friends recommended Glacial Ridge Vet for boarding our two 2 yr old Huskies. When I called to make reservations they were very accommodating and had space available. The next morning we dropped off the joys and Tracy was very pleasant and friendly. She helped us get checked in and even called our vet to get some vaccine certificates faxed over. Since I didn't have a copy she gave me one. When we came back the next day to pick the boys up Tracy again helped us with a smile and friendly attitude. I certainly wish I had done that as I never would have left her there at all.

I was scared that due to the COVID19 outbreak I wasn't going to be able to be there with her at the end of her life but Dr. Mark and the team worked with us and were kind enough to put her to sleep in the back of my vehicle in their parking lot while she laid on her favorite bed in a comfortable and familiar surrounding. They were so accommodating and caring and Jersey passed very peacefully. They even got an ink imprint of her paw for is as a keepsake - what a beautiful touch on such a hard day. Then in the following days they sent a sympathy card signed by the doctor and all of the people who work at the clinic. What a first class operation. Thank you so much to the AVC for your excellent care in the years before Jersey's passing and on the day of. I'll never forget your kindness and how much you made us feel cared for.

I was looking to help a homeless animal as a Valentine's Day present to myself. It seemed that the cats in Minneapolis and St. Paul were either maladjusted, or too tired from being bothered all day to show any personality or affection (kind of like the guys I've dated). My mother told me about PetFinder.com. She adopted her mobility assistance dog from the site. I did a search and decided to go look at a Siamese mix at this location. Unfortunately, the cat ended up having a serious health problem that had just been confirmed the day I drove out to get him. While waiting I had the chance to go into the shelter and meet the other kitties. All of them were very entertaining and had vivid personalities. You could tell they had been cared for well, but hadn't been over stimulated. I found them all to be much nicer than any of the cats in the Twin Cities' shelters. They didn't try and push me to take the sick cat, nor did they try and dump a second cat on me. I had ample time to visit with them all and made a decision on a seemingly mellow striped male. He is definitely not mellow, but he's one of the best cats I've ever had. He has a great personality and we cuddle every night. This relationship has lasted 1 year, 7 months, 19 days and counting. I have a good feeling it is going to break the record.

The receptionist was not helpful. I had a poisoned cat and the vet was at lunch so she said I'd need to wait an hour or make an appt! There was no care or concern for my kitten. She was very rude. It was very disappointing. I took my cat to a vet that cares about its customers not getting COVID and follows the protocols set by our state. Masks are inconvenient but they are necessary.

I live 1 town away, the round trip ends up being about 30 miles. So they happily mailed me my special standard poodle meds. He sadly has a terminal illness,that the great Dr. quickly diagnosed.'MMM' is an autoimmune disease, affecting the dog's jaw muscle.I am presently giving him some meds, Prednisone.This has really made a huge difference.I am on borrowed time I know.
