It would take days for a support technician to come out and fix whatever issue my router, etc. and the wifi and buffering never got better. That's what I decided to stop using Spectrum even though my brother has worked there for over 4 years. They allow their employees to have free wifi and other services. Which leads me to my 0 star. My brother is a disabled veteran, and for the past 6 months has struggled with mental illnering this time frame he had to use up all his vacation/personal time, which led to retaliation from his employers. NOTE: This facility has no Human Resource department. Two months ago, he was unable to go into the office due to health issues and got a note from the Veteran's office here in the metro. They then finally supplied him with the equipment to work from home. About two weeks later he was called into a netting and was suspended without pay. With inflation, poverty rising day by day, rent costs sky rocketing, and Charter/Spectrum Communications of Kansas City decided to suspend a disable veteran because he got Veteran Affairs involved because they were retaliating against his use of FMLA and PTO, which is illegal coming from a BSBA with a minor in Business Law. Do NOT work here. This company looks at their employees as numbers, other than human beings.

When moving out of state customer service was so poor that I had to pay over $120 months later to keep my credit score in tact which was like 804. Almost a year later I still have an email address with them because they didn't do their job when I turned all equipment in and deactivate ALL of my account, now it's my fault because I didn't say cancel instead of close account when I contacted them August of last year. These people are about the poorest excuse for a business that I have ever had to deal with in my entire adult life. You should be ashamed of your actions and the way your business has no respect or regard for your customer!!

If you can avoid using Consolidated Communications, you absolutely should. Use any other company you can. Avoid this company at all costs. Use any other company you can. As soon as any other service is available in this area, we look forward to cancelling our account with this terrible company. We have been calling Consolidated for two years now with constant internet service problems. They submit tickets, and send out technicians, and sometimes the service is fixed temporarily, and then we are back to terrible service - static on the phone lines, and constant interruptions. The technicians now don't even return calls or do site visits. The tickets are being submitted, but there is obviously no oversight or accountability or follow up on the tickets by this company. And it is IMPOSSIBLE to get customer service on the phone. It is infuriating, especially because the monthly cost is SO HIGH. Super slow to non-existent internet service - from POINT 5 megabytes download speed to completely down, with constant interruptions. Constant internet service interruptions. The lawyers and tech professionals on our street cannot even work from home because the internet service is constantly going down, which means all manner of inconvenience for us - from the inability to use Wi-Fi for professional work on phones to the actual loss of wages - and all due to lack of internet service and constant interruptions of internet service. This company should be embarrassed to call themselves a communications company. And they should be sued via class action suit due to the number of professionals who cannot work from home due to their horribly substandard internet service. Reason of review: Bad quality. Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered. I didn't like: Terrible service customer service is getting worse, Terrible internet service, No response to trouble tickets, Can never get customer service on the phone, Tech professionals in this area have no reliable internet.
