The entire staff there is truly a team. They communicated with me steadily , competed the work and then some in the time frame as promised. I can't say enough about Dave and his employees. It's difficult to say the least to find any form of honest and dependable businesses such as North Bay Marine, but I have and I suggest that if you need marine service go to them. Fair warning for anybody looking for canvas work…read more Learn from my experience. Douglas Marine Canvas is an absolute hack. Took him 3 panels to have the isinglass replaced and they destroyed them. Ripped our canvas after saying it was in great shape, new glass is gouged, scratched, swirled, and even has needle holes through it from the sewing machine. Offered to "fix it", and confirmed we would bring them in, showed up and he when we said we would and he wasn't there, doors locked. Refuses to refund us and blocked me on Facebook. Run! If you want more proof, look at his Facebook and zoom in on his work. Random flaps, snaps are all uneven, spacing is way off, panels of "new jobs" just toss on his plywood table, thinks not aligned. It's brutal. Wish I would have looked before hiring him. EDIT: in regard to company response. With proof and screenshots. ALL 3 PANELS are damaged and at another shop being repaired. Not sure where he got "just one" Nobody became belligerent, or said anything regarding being a family man. Yes I did ask for them to be upgraded to poly seeing as the guy does his work on plywood and destroys glass. This entire response is laughable. There was no other contact or harassment or slander, this review is the exact post i added to social media which is far from "slander", it's to show the shady work this guy knows so nobody else goes through this. And yes, in the text we did verify when we were bringing them, when my wife came i called and you said you were in port Huron. A "Christian business" doesn't destroy somebody's property and refuse to refund them, and then lie and try to cover it up with family and friends leaving 5 star reviews, and lock down commenting on Facebook. Edit 2: due to yelp privacy policy, removed the phone number from attached screenshots.

Our experience with Anderson Boat Sales was remarkable. From the initial contact with sales to the…read morefinal delivery to our Marina, the entire process was met with professionalism. Our sales person, Kayla, was incredible. She was enthusiastic, personable, always helpful, and highly knowledgeable. I was provided with video and photo updates and was even included in a facetime call while one of my accessories was being installed. We had in-water training with their amazing crew led by Blake prior to delivery. It was obvious that the entire team genuinely loves what they do and finds fulfillment in bringing joy to their customers. Thank you, Kayla, Danielle, and Dennis, for going above and beyond to make our boat buying journey so very special.

My boat was finally returned the following week. But it gets worse. GM Chris Anderson called me…read more He apologized profusely for his infamously obnoxious uncle, who is "not permitted to talk to customers". But while Chris was out of the office, Uncle Dave was reportedly causing offenses at a record pace. Still, Chris assured me that this would never happen again, that he'd be my only point of contact, that he'd provide his mobile number, and a substantial accommodation to keep me as a customer. All of this so I'd remove my first review, posted last month. I did. Then, naturally, everything Chris promised, never happened. Now a month later, and I haven't even been able to get Chris back on the phone. It gets worse. All of the service items that were supposedly the reason for my repeatedly canceled and delayed delivery appointments -- those likewise never happened. Not a single one of them. They charged me (in fact, they overcharged me by $150), but did absolutely NONE of the work that they promised me was completed before my boat was finally returned. When I was sold this 2024 Tahoe new last year, it was somehow missing a battery. I had to travel to Grand Rapids to pick up a replacement battery. Over the winter, they said that battery was installed; it was not. They said the stereo amp was fixed; it was not. They said the ladder was fixed; it was not. They said the boat was gassed up; it was not. They said it was detailed; it was not. They said the oil was changed; at this point, how could anyone reasonably believe that was done either? It gets worse. Not only was the boat not serviced but, incredibly, it was returned damaged. Whether in storage or on delivery, they bent the front door and front door latch and returned the bimini in pieces. You think they're finally taking care of things like professionals? Naah, I still can't get Chris Anderson or his service department on the phone. I purchased this boat to enjoy a leisurely family experience. With thanks to Anderson, it's been anything but.

I was very stressed about it, and he was so kind and helpful. Originally, I bought my boat from the Colony Marine in Pontiac about 21 years ago. I remember being happy with my salesman at the time. Thus, I called there first asking for help. I was told abruptly and somewhat rudely to talk to the finance gal at the Colony Marine in Saint Clair Shores, and if that didn't work, he didn't know what I could do.
