I cooked the risotto exactly as package directions said, the inside was still frozen. So I reheated in microwave but the rest of the meal was now cold. So reheated that in the microwave. Now the cod was overdone. These were very expensive meals and not any better than grocery store variety frozen food.

The chicken was fairly tasty, but the meal came in 4 different boiling bags, each with its own timeline, so it wasn't exactly easy to prepare. The boiled french fries had a consistency about what you would expect. For this price I could have had a pretty nice meal at a lot of restaurants. My husband and I gravitated towards redefine meals over other meal prep stores because of their clean, simple ingredients and use of avocado oils. I also love how they offer frozen meals as well for a discount. I bought a few of them and there was no lack of taste or flavor when warmed/thawed. I am also extremity grateful for the first responder discount offered. It is helpful for those who don't have the best schedules to at least have a healthy, fueling meal so I really appreciate that offering. Instead, I was told I had to pay the higher price. It left me questioning the store's pricing practices. This isn't the first disappointing experience. On another occasion, the same assistant refused to let me return a meal I had just purchased--despite the fact that I hadn't even left the store and only wanted to exchange it because my daughter changed her mind. Additionally, I've noticed that the portion sizes of the meals have been shrinking noticeably over the past year. Overall, I'm becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the service and value at this location.
