They were both very happy to see us come back, of course, but seemed to be just fine. Both my dogs have spent much of their lives in daycare/boarding/dog parks/socialization of some type just to ensure they get their energy out. If you have a GSD- you know what I'm talking about! As I dropped off my two girls I took my senior (10 y.o.) in first and brought their food and supplies inside. She was taken immediately to the back while I got my younger girl (2 y.o. Puppy). The woman working the front desk comments on my younger dogs hyperactivity with a "I can tell this one will be difficult"- I remind her that she is a working breed puppy and is very excited to be somewhere new. It came across as rude to me, but I let it go. Online we booked the king deluxe suites stay for our girls. I read online they got a "minimum of 4 twenty minute stretch and potty breaks". If you want socialization for your dog you have to pay extra for that? My husband and I travel for work, and we have been all over the United States as a result. I have NEVER been to a pet facility that charges for socialization/play time, so we ordered some for each dog throughout their stay. You have no way of knowing if they got that play time. There is no live stream of the facility and I was never taken back to see where my girls were staying, another first. I also asked for photo updates or text updates of my girls while we were gone for 7 days/6 nights- I got one call and was told she would email photos of their Christmas party. I received an email but not picture was included. Additionally, their website mentions an "Eagle Caves Pet Resort Report Card" when I asked for the report card the front desk receptionist acted as though she had no clue as to what I was referring. When I showed her the website she said "Oh we've never done that". As far as pet care goes, this place does the job. Regarding customer service and professionalism, it could use some work. Attached you will find Greg's original response to my 4 star google review, then his updated response including name calling a former client. I highly suggest anyone considering this excuse for a dog care resort to finding anything else. Sincerely, Dr. & Dr. Todd

Blue Turtle Home Sitting helped make my dream come true!…read more I love my dog and cat and take great care of them. What to do when I wanted to travel far away and be gone for 3 months? A quick search in Craigslist and I found Crissy at Blue Turtle Home Sitting ( I've never asked the significance of "blue turtle"). I determined a departure and return date and she had about 2 months to find a home sitter for me. Blue Turtle Home Sitting found me a highly responsible person to live in my house, take care of my yard and take great care of my pets while I was having a wonderful time on the other side of the earth. Crissy managed every aspect of the housesitting and kept in contact with an occasional trip to my home to assure all was well. Her attention to detail and professional approach was perfect! After 3 months I returned home to a it just as I had left it and two affectionate and happy pets to swoon over me for a few days. If I am so fortunate to be able to have another trip and gone for so long, Blue Turtle Home Sitting is the only call I need to make to take care of my home and pets. Professional, reliable and great attention to detail!

A couple of small plumbing issues were dealt with quickly and communication with us was excellent via phone and email. Leaving our home empty with friends dropping by to check on it every week or so would not have caught the plumbing problems before damage occurred. It was also such a relief not to have to find, interview and vet potential home sitters on our own. We will certainly use their services again if the occasion arises.

What I got was a shampoo, they were not "able" to trim her nails, even though she is a very passive dog, has been going to groomer since she was 3 months old and she has short short hair so she didn't get a cut? If it was easy to trim nails I would do it myself, I can give her a bath, I don't need to pay $80 for a bath. So unless its easy to trim your dogs nails ( which again if that were the case you would do it yourself) then go to someone with skills to make them more comfortable and get the nails done as asked. This was the main reason I went there, and If they would have said, we may or may not trim the nails based on how the dog feels, I would have gone somewhere else to begin with. When I asked for a partial refund I was told, rudely, that the groomer was having a rough day, and didn't want to get upset and that the nails are added on if possible, so I paid almost $60 for my 22lb dog to get a bath. YAE!! I guess I'm on the hunt for a better groomer. To bad as it's next to an awesome dog day care and was convenient.
