Incredible. Magic…read morehas always been something that intrigued me, but seeing it live is a completely different experience. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't stop wondering how he was doing any of it. Mat Franco is probably best known for winning Season 9 of America's Got Talent and now performs his residency, Magic Reinvented Nightly, at The LINQ in Las Vegas. I don't want to say too much because part of the fun is experiencing it for yourself. What I loved most was how much he interacted with the audience. It didn't feel like he was just performing at the crowd. He involved people throughout the show and made the entire room feel part of the experience. Every time I thought I had something figured out, another trick would happen and completely change my mind. Seeing magic on TV is one thing, but seeing it happen right in front of you is mind-blowing. If you've ever been curious about magic or wanted to see a Vegas show that's different from the typical concerts and productions, I would definitely recommend this one. I left amazed and still thinking about some of the tricks afterward.

As soon as we sat down we became immediately chilled. The A/C was blowing full force from the vents in the wall behind us! Brrrr! It became so intolerable that my hubby mentioned our discomfort to one of the ushers. She kindly sat us closer to the stage on a nice cushioned bench. I couldn't believe that they made such nice accommodations for us! Mat Franco is very engaging and very family oriented. We enjoyed his magic show, which is family friendly. You could hear the kids let out oooohs and aaaahs throughout the show. We highly recommend this very entertaining show.

As MOH, I planned the party and spent a lottt of time going through reviews on Yelp and Reddit bc there was a lot of pressure to find the best option and decide for the group. Many reviews of the bigger shows said the performers had been doing it for so long that they looked like they were just going through the motions.. that the acts were unimpressive.. that the theater was so big you could only see the tricks on a screen, or that it was overpriced. After all my research, I'm SO glad I decided on Frederic -- the bride said this magic show was her favorite part of the trip!! (and we went to Tao dayclub the day before lol) :) I love that it was in a small, intimate theater, so that you were up close no matter where you sat. And there was SO much audience interaction -- our bride even caught a frisbee and got to go on stage -- which was fun and helped make it even more special for her. The mentalism was such a cool departure from traditional physical magic tricks -- we all loved it and had many *gasp* moments. We even got to meet Frederic after, and he performed more mentalism up close, which was cool. HIGHLY recommend this show!! (Also, it was $30/ticket, which is a price you cannot beat in Vegas)

This show was easily one of our highlights from our most recent trip to Vegas!…read more I've seen clips on his tricks on TV, but seeing his sleight of hand live is on a completely different level at the show at the Palazzo theater. Even sitting there knowing you should be able to catch something, you simply can't. Every trick left the audience looking at each other wondering how this was possible. What I appreciated most was that the show wasn't just about nonstop card tricks. There was a great mix of magic, humor, and audience participation, and storytelling that kept the pacing fresh from beginning to end. Whether you're a fan of magic of just looking for a unique Vegas show, I'd recommend Limitless without hesitation. I've seen several shows in Vegas over the years, and this one I'd happily see again because I'm convinced I'd have no idea how he does any of it.

The sleight of hand has a camera on the table or him so you can see it on the screen more easily, that means most seats are fine, no issues with visuals. They also have interactive parts with the audience, calculator math, card tricks, and bringing folks up onto the stage for interacting during the acts. The voiceover might bore some who are too young, though, it's not as flashy as some other magic shows. Wife combines cardistry with hoop acrobatics. Very cool story for those who follow, a pop in from the American Idol singer, and there's a meet & greet after for fans that pay for the VIP side. Located in the Venetian/Palazzo Theater.

These two are past their 70's and instead of retiring, they continue to entertain audiences with their comedy magic routine. They've been doing this show at the Rio for 25 years now and have been magicians for 50 years. It's quite a legacy. A majority of the acts require a long set up of Penn explaining things and doing a bit of comedy. Almost every single act involves some sort of audience participation which is pretty cool. What Penn says is that they are magicians who don't do illusions so their whole value proposition is generally old school, classic magic involving a deck of cards. Their act is absolutely superb and will leave you guessing how they even pull off their magic. The only thing I found really odd is that they had asked for specifically a child participant for one of their acts but as the show went on, a bunch of the language used was definitely not family friendly. Overall, if you love magic shows, I would say that this duo is a must see.

The drinks and waters at the bar are on the pricey side but that's Vegas for you. Bottled water was $6.50 but I've seen casinos nearby Rio that charge $10-11 for water.

The theater attendants were all friendly and they directed us to our seats. The show started a few minutes after 7pm and it was suspenseful and thrilling from the start. There were a few really cool illusions and magic tricks, and Chris is clearly a talented performer. However, I was expecting more "wow" moments, and much of the show didn't leave me as amazed as I thought it would. The theater staff was friendly and helpful, which made getting in and finding our seats easy. Drinks, however, were very overpriced. The venue itself also felt a bit dated and run-down, and the dark, demonic-themed set design wasn't really my style. Overall, I'm glad I finally got to see the show after wanting to for so long, but it wasn't the unforgettable experience I was hoping for.

This is definitely a general audience show without it being too toned down that it turns into a strictly children's show. I will say that at it's current location at the Strat, I'd suggest buying seats that are further away from the stage if you don't want the tricks spoiled for you. My husband and I were seated next to the stage (stage left) and unfortunately could see how many of the tricks were done because of how close our seats were to the performance. (Ex: one of the fabric backdrops has a secret opening that up close, is visibly more dirty than the rest of the backdrop.) On the flip side, if you want to see how the tricks are done, get the VIP seats next to the stage. I won't spoil it by explaining which tricks get spoiled, but you'll see at least 4-5. My husband and I still had a good time but I think I'd enjoy it more if the tricks were still a mystery.
