I'm so excited this gem of a shop has joined the incredible locally owned businesses in this South…read morePortage strip mall. (See what I did there ... gem?) It is so beautifully laid out I could have spent an hour just being dazzled by the displays. Alas, the thing I wanted to take home the most was part of a display I'm not for sale. You'd be surprised at how often that happens to me. If there's a gemstone lover on your shopping list, make a beeline for this beaut of a boutique. They've got everything from uper affordable small polished gemstones for under $10 on up to gigantic gemstones spheres for $500 or more. There's also a great selection of sage and other smudging implements as well as Is a wide array of incense. The owner was super friendly. Parking can be a pickle in this strip mall since there's so many popular spots here (Chocolatea, Pantry on Tap, Jac's and more), which could cause accessibility issues for folks with limited mobility.

I stopped in here while visiting Kalamazoo with friends and they were all skiing so I was killing…read moretime. I was looking for some new sage to burn at home and this place popped right up when I searched for sage. The show is super cute! It is small, so perfect place to stop if you do not have a lot of time. I was able to get a sage bundle that was local to Michigan, a new apophyllite stone, and some fun stickers all under $20 dollars I think. So, everything is super affordable! There were two individuals working in there while I was looking around and they both were really helpful. I joked around about one of their stickers that I had to buy. They have several queer stickers so it was nice to feel welcomed there! CHEERS

What an absolute gem of a local shop! I discovered Elements from word of mouth...and I continue to…read morespread the word! I was a bit worried what the shop might have to offer, and the lack of parking in the area (side street only and limited to only a few cars) was not a good sign. As soon as I walked through the original double doors to Elements....any negative thought I had vanished. I was immediately greeted by Kate (who also has amazing artwork available for purchase at art hop events) and welcomed into the store. The space is indeed small, but there is so much to offer! Whatever metaphysical or spiritual item you might be in search of, they have it or will consider ordering! I found lots of little Christmas gifts, some birthday gifts and many goodies for myself. I rsally love how there is a printed card for each crystal that you are able to take with you! There are plethora reading materials and quite the assortment of tarot/oracle card decks. The prices are very reasonable, and the space and staff very welcoming...I felt like family on all of my visits. They also offer special classes (times listed on their FB page) and are starting a new event for the first Saturday of each month to showcase local artistry/talents (art, music, crafts). This is my new favorite place to shop for my metaphysical needs!

This place is absolutely huge and it's a pretty fun treat to walk-through. There are easily…read morethousands of crystals and minerals like all around and on display. But that's the key, on display. Probably 80% of all of the crystals that are for sale are behind lock and key - very unusual for a rock shop. The place feels a lot more like a museum that it does a rock shop. With everything under lock and key not only do I not feel unwelcome and as if the owner can't trust anybody, but I can't look at any pieces from different angles, see how much they weigh, or even compare them to nearby pieces. It feels like a Walgreens where I have to call an associate over every single time I want to get some soap or something. It puts a huge damper on the experience. They try to make the place immersive with some mining decorations and this little dinosaur pit, but I find them absolutely annoying. One section of the shop constantly has this high-pitched sound of someone using a pickaxe against the stone wall on speaker. It's cool, a little immersive at first, but I found myself getting a headache after about five minutes. There's another section of the store that I've never really visited, because I have to cover my ears when I walk through there. They have the loudest, and I mean, the absolutely loudest, most shrill sounding bird sounds playing from their prehistoric dinosaur section you could possibly imagine. You can hear it from across the store. My noise canceling headphones don't cut it. They are crazy loud, and they've been that same exact volume the previous three times I had visited. The only crystals that are not under lock and key are ones that are incredibly common or artificial; think, Jasper, tumbled glass, and obsidian. A good majority of the pieces under lock and key are actually quartzes, agates, and other silicates. There honestly isn't a lot of diversity here. I think they can do a lot better since they are boasting they are Michigan's largest rock shop. TL; DR: it's a nice place, but I don't think the owner can decide if they want this place to be a museum or a rock shop.
