A bright, clean, and organized grocery store to shop at. They sell beautiful, fresh flowers and fresh produce. Their salad bar is always fresh and has everything from potato salad, pasta salad, fruits, veggies, and different types of leafy greens. One of the best salad bars I've came across. Although it is a bit pricey. I came her tonight for sushi (I was craving it since I had sushi dinner plans that fell through). They have a great selection of sushi at the sushi bar prepared fresh by the sushi chefs. I chose the tuna, salmon, and crab chef sampler. The presentation was beautiful. The tuna was fresh. The ginger was crunchy. Wasabi had the just right amount of spiciness. I don't know what sauce they drizzled atop the sushi, but it was slightly sweet, pulling all of the flavored together. I just wish they had put in an extra soy sauce packet. I love my soy sauce! read more

I Had a run in with one of the Dilions Click List shoppers today at Central and Rock Marketplace. She parked her big cart against the dairy doors and i had to bang the door on her cart. to get to the cream. .i got a nasty look and i said usually the Click List shoppers park away frothe doors. She looked at me and said I dont .Wow makesme want to not shop that Dillions. Common courtesy she had none. You could tell she hatedher job as well as people.I think there should be rules with those big carts . read more

This is a great Dillons/Kroger market location. It's a super store, so it has all of your grocery needs, pharmacy, Little Clinic and clothing. It's literally one-stop shopping, and the store is extremely clean. read more

Ordered a cake for an employees retirement party. I asked if they could make it look like an eye chart and was assured they could. I even showed the lady a picture of an eye chart to ensure she knew what I was wanting. Asked to pick it up by noon on Feb 24. Got to the store at 11:30 on the 24th only to find out they had filed my order in the Saturday stack.i was shocked and horrified since the party was in 3 hours. The gal got snippy at me saying in a very rude tone she would drop everything to get the cake done. I left and called the manager, who didn't really seem to be very upset about it, but did say he'd address it with her. I went back about an hour and a half later and was mortified by what I saw. It looked nothing like an eye chart. It looked like an 8 year old decorated it. I told the ladies I couldn't take a cake looking like that to a retirement party for an employee who worked for us for 30 years. One of the gals assured me she could redo it and make it look like an eye chart, she even took a picture of the example I showed the first lady. About 20 minutes later she finished. While it was an improvement, it was still bad. I was in a hurry and just took it as is. I got to the venue and discovered she had spelled retirement wrong. This was so embarrassing and not what I wanted for a 30 year employee. At no point in any of my less than stellar experiences regarding all the miscues with the cake was I offered an apology, an admission of their errors or asked how they could make it right. I had to go to the self-checkout today with at least 100 items because the alternative was waiting in line for an hour at the ONE register they had open (with at least six people with full carts in line). This is all because they don't want to have to pay another staff member. Oh, and this occurred around 9:30 a.m. so there was no valid reason to not have at least two registers open. Something like this can turn away a lot of potential business (much more than whatever the hourly rate is for an employee), and since I've noticed a pattern of this is happening more and more, the next time it does I won't be returning. Wish more people would speak up and complain! read more

This is the grocery store I prefer, I think they even have better things that the Target up half a block (FOOD WISE, their clothes and stuff are lame but to me Dillon's is a grocery store and Target is a nice home item store so... Imagine Wichita 15 years ago when I use to live here) And the olive bar is the main attraction. Dolmas are really hard to find in Wichita. The sushi is also edible, I just wish so many didn't have brown rice. And the parmesan pesto ham from the deli sliced super thin.... The cheap chips, store brand, potato chips, the Pimento Harissa flavor... 5 stars. Damn you, Dillons, you're the reason I'm such a grocery store snob. You grow up with grocery stores like Dillons and all others pale in comparison. This was my first visit to this location and it certainly didn't disappoint. Super clean store, with your usual groceries plus a salad bar, deli, Chinese kitchen, aisles of international foods, college sportswear, housewares and even furniture. I didn't see the kitchen sink, but I'm sure it had to be there somewhere! read more

They have the worst pharmacy. They can't even get a simple refill done and then when you need ONE pill to get you by till they finally do their job and get your refill. They tell you no. Obviously their pharmacist didnt pay attention in school or he would know how important it is to take an anti-depressant on time. read more

This store is HUGE!! But I actually think that their location on Amidon and 21st has a better variety of 'Ethnic' ingredients -- i.e. Chinese, Mexican. But this store has an AWESOME salad bar and their Chinese food is quite good! They also have a Starbucks. And we LOVE accumulating those 'Fuel Points' read more

salad bar good most days however they need to learn to wash the beans off as nothing as gross as slimy bean juice on your salad (kidney and garbanzo both ) .. have actually had them spoiled on more than one occasion...other than that usually excellent most of the time ....sushi good as well as Chinese kitchen items...some days will just eat items from Olive Bar as there are some good items there as well read more

The meat department at this Dillions store is tops. As I was waiting for a special cut, every person that was behind the meat counter was very polite and asked If I had been helped yet. The manager Lee at this store was very helpful compared to the meat department at Central and Maize. He actually cared and went above and beyond to help me out. Ordered fried chicken for my family from the deli. I order prepared good from various places when I have no time to cook before I go to work in the evening. She boxed it up for me and we both agreed that i would pick it up when i returned in 10 minutes when my mashed potatos were ready. When i returned, another lady told me that the mashed potatos were going to take a little longer. (20 more minutes) No worries, Since I had to rush off to work I told her that I would just take my chicken and go. She said "no you cannot have your chicken because girl that boxed it up for you returned it to the display case and we sold it. It will be 20 minutes if you would like fried chicken". What??? I dont have 20 minutes as i have to go to work. I told her 'no I don't think you understand. She has already boxed up for me and I was just returning to pick it up." The other lady told me one more time 'No I don't think you understand. She returned it to this display case, you will have to wait 20 more minutes to get fried chicken". When I proceeded to ask her more details about the whole transaction she ignored me and went along with her business. No apology, no nothing. She was basically done with the situation. I was livid!! Today, when I was in the checkout, the checker Braden was extremely rude to me. I asked about taking back fresh blueberries that tasted bad. Braden told me to take them to customer service and tell them that the blueberries "sucked". Thus made me uncomfortable, so I said that I probably wouldn't do that. Braden repeated his rude instructions and said that a monkey could do it. I guess Braden thinks I am more stupid than a monkey. Please feel free to share this review of Braden ' s terrible customer service. If you are in his line, please feel free to ask for a checker that treats people with dignity and respect, instead of with rudeness. read more
