The worst service I have ever experienced in my entire life! The men's clothing department refused to give me a refund even though the label on the pants I was returning was incorrect and therefore a totally different size. I asked for the manager and the guy helping me out refused to call the manager and said he would not refund me my money and was not willing to take the return for the same pants! Showed him my receipt on my cell phone and said he would not make an exchange either because the tags were off the pants. I will never shop there again even though I have been a customer for over 50 years! Terrible customer service! read more

Limited hours, which makes it hard for me to go in and buy clothes for work. Don't know how they expect business to come back that way. Bad service. I have gone in three times to try on clothes this week. Unfortunately, I make it as they are about to clothes. When I go to the fragrance counter, the associates are on their phone and ignore me. The associates on the floor ignore everybody. I'm grateful because I found clothes on Amazon. Even the some of brands Dillards carries. Guess what. It was cheaper. AC is out in July & Dillards corporate is refusing to fix it due to costs. Felt like I was going to pass out trying on clothes. They put fans around but it's a complete joke with a heat index of 111 outside. And august isn't even here yet. I put my clothes back on the rack and decided they don't deserve my business. Poor selection for early 30's aged female as compared to other Dillards I've frequented, and no good sales in July to incentivize the customer to make the purchase here when another store offers it at a better price. The young lady working the womens intimates department on Saturday evening 7/27/2019 at 7pm was just a warm body holding up her counter as she offered no help and made zero contact with me, despite my lengthy search for a new bra and browsing the department.. Normally I wouldn't write a review about this specific store as I have had nothing but problems in the past. That all changed today! My domestic partner and I was greeted by Savion, a Sales representative of Dillard's in the women's section. She approached us engaging according to Dillard's Standard Operating Procedures. This brought a smile to my face. Though working 8 years at Dillard's, Savoin made me feel like I went back through time to an Era where Dillard's showed why they were competitors to Bloomingdale. Her engaging personality, questions and knowledge of my partner's dress size and style made me want to spend my money here. I wish every sales associate understood Dillard's SOP and style of selling. I will definitely ask for Savoin whenever I shop Dillard's in College Station, Texas. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU SHOULD ALSO. Dillard's is split into 2 separate stores on separate sides of the mall. 1 side is women's and the other is men's & home. I only went to the men's store which was clean and easy to shop. The associates were friendly and helpful when I asked a question or for a price/size check. We picked up a bunch of stuff while here because there was a decent sale going on. On the up side, found what I was looking for. Somewhat limited selection. Store is dirty. Went to the restroom, ugh. Nasty.

They have all kinds of stuff for holidays, but mainly clothings. The prices are however, very high and does not look like holiday week market. There are so many customers in the store, but no one seems happy and buying. A brand item I got from another store this week is 40% more expensive here and I can imagine that all items are pretty pricey. read more

I am only giving this store 2 stars because it did have a good selection of brands BUT (and here's a big 'but' in my opinion) I went into this location to return something that was a little too small that was purchased on vacation in Oklahoma. Right when you walk in the door the whole store has this weird smell like rubber or wet fabric that hasn't properly dried and smallest like mildew or maybe both. The women who completed my return was very helpful! I am visiting from out of town and a cold front came in so I wanted to get a couple warmer items and instead walking over to Nordstrom since we were pressed for time, I figured I'd shop in this store. Where the women at the BCBG counter was nice she was not helpful with finding a dressing room or sizes in the clothes. I was trying on a jacket and a couple pairs of jeans since the weather had changed and it was a bit cool at the event today. I found a pair of jeans along with some PJs that I really liked and went to check out. As we were checking out we were having small talk with the women, explaining how we were from CA and that we had the opportunity to return my item while in TX since there was no Dillard's in CA. After we were done in Austin, we leave to head 'home' in Gidings (at my cousins house about 40+min away), as I'm laying out my clothes for tomorrow and pull out the jeans I just purchased, I come across the lovely ink filled security sensor still attached to the pant leg. So not only am I mad the she forgot to take off the sensor but tomorrow is Sunday which means the store is only open from noon - 6:00pm which is right at the prime time for being at the MAIN event which we flew into Austin for, with the venue being a good about 40min away from this Dillard's location. I understand that people are human but we were the only customers on the whole level so she had no reason to be distracted. So now I have to make a special trip there, be late to my event, all because a sales rep forgot to remove the ink filled security sensor at checkout. read more

Went prom dress shopping with my 2 daughter's. I was strapped for cash and never thought I would find great dresses for such a cheap price at Dillards. But I did. As is normal at the mall, this place has pretty bad customer service. I was shopping for some pants for work one day and as I was searching, a customer service rep asked if I was looking for a bargain. Literally that was all she asked, didn't say hello or anything else. Very rude. read more
