One thing I love is that an take a sample piece of something painted that you bring in and get pretty close on matching by using thier computer or by the naked eye. That is a great service they offer. Also, I have taken cans of old paint and had them dispose of them, not sure if they still offer that. You will be happy going there for all of your paint, stain, primer, and painting supplies.

I brought along a couple of old Benjamin Moore paint cans that were about seven years old assuming I'd need to replace them. Instead of trying to sell me two new gallons at $50 each, the staff inspected the paint, found it was still in good condition, and offered to strain, thin, and repackage it into new cans. The total cost to me was about $10. I also had a few basic questions about how to properly retouch the walls, and the staff took the time to explain everything to me in detail. It's rare to walk into a business for the first time and encounter such a customer-focused approach. I highly recommend supporting this store. It also felt great to give my business to a local paint shop rather than a big-box chain.

Additionally, you can go to www.letschipit.com, upload any photograph, and the program will pick out the colors in your photograph and match them to specific Sherwin Wiliams paint colours. That is what I did the other day. Then once I had my 6 colours ready, I called up the White Lake store and they happily made me my paint samples in advance so I could pick them up the next day at my convenience. The staff was very friendly and helpful and gave me a discount for signing up for their rewards program, and also sent me a $10 gift card in my email for my next purchase! Just an overall great experience, and I cannot recommend Sherwin-Williams any higher. Seriously: letschipit.com!
