Since that…read moretime, they've lost one referral from the facility which had to be resent, scheduled two visits by a nurse to come out for the admission and intake process. Two times, we've been contacted by contracted physical therapists to begin her therapy, but then informed that they cannot begin until a nurse from Home Care Providers of Texas completes the intake assessment. Very disorganized and unprofessional.

The called and left a message saying "do you want me to come?" Ah, yea! I packed it the best I could but he was bleeding to much and I was not comfortable with my skill sets. Took him back to the surgeon on day 2 and he repacked it and showed me what to do and no I was not doing it correctly as I did not have the correct tools to do it and did not understand the size of the wound (tunneling). HCPOT came out the next day. All seemed to be moving forward until he had a 1 week follow up today with the Surgeon who said HCPOT was not packing it all the way down correctly thereby the healing process was not where it should be. These are supposed to be the "professionals" and they can't even get it right!! Surgeon was going to call them and tell them to get their act together. On a scale of 1 - 10 their communication is a 5 and their clinical skill sets are a 2.

She had no personality and a lack of bedside manner. When we sorted out the audio, she turned off her video, so now I couldn't see her at all. Her accent made it very hard to understand and with only part of her face showing at first (and later nothing visible), I couldn't use her mouth as a visual cue to figure out what she was asking. She repeated several of her questions (as if she had forgotten that she had asked them of me) and asked for clarification on some of my answers....responses which were relatively simple and straightforward, but she couldn't understand. Overall, I found the whole session very frustrating. While it may help some members, I truly believe my blood pressure increased during the call. It was a waste of my time.
