I actually like this free local queens newspaper as it's in most banks , supermarkets , post office…read moreand hand full of other shops in Astoria . I like it mostly for the police blotter type stories which I find interesting and amusing unless it's a serious crime like assault and other felonies which I don't find interesting or amusing but makes me angry as hell. Good local paper to see what's going on in queens and upcoming events that's not usually advertised in local papers or news media outlets. 4.5 stars for good reading material while having breakfast in Astoria on Sundays .

I rate it four stars as local community newspapers as Queens Gazette is hard to local in small communities as Hollis Hills, Richmond Hill, or Ozone Park but residents need to flock to larger populated communities within Queens as Flushing, Forest Hills to obtain a copy of the Gazette. The Queens Gazette often announces events as the Saint Patrick's Day parade in Flushing and in The Rockaways. Queens, home to the 1964 and 1965 New York World's Fair, two airports, and Aqueduct Racetrack!

Forest View Rehabilation and Nursing Center is the place to be if one should require these…read moreservices. The place is outstanding! It is immaculately clean and has excellent food. The care is exemplary from the Dr.'s, Nurses, Aids, to the Therapists who Rehabilatate the patients who reside there for however long a period of time is necessary. I must commend especially Hadee, Flo, and last but not least Russ, who are outstanding,in their work as Therapists. I reflect back to time spent there three years ago. Many of my friends have had a stay there as well and feel as I do. One of my friends is there now recovering from knee surgery and I went to visit finding the same wonderful atmosphere as I did in the past. I will end this review by stating that you cannot find a better facility of this kind anywhere! I personally will never forget! Barbara U
