Pretty much just guessing and without proper diagnosing. If I come to you as a paying customer I expect you to do your job and tell me what the EXACT issue is, not just assume its the most expensive components of the computer without doing proper troubleshooting. Typically with something like this you would start with changing out the RAM and seeing if anything changes. Both CPU and Motherboard were still under warranty so I replaced those parts and brought them to him to install. He then claimed one of my ram sticks were bad ( which I believe to be the issue all along). For whatever reason he wiped out both of my hard drives on my computer. Without even informing me. One of which had 2 tb of storage. Completely unacceptable. When I brought him the last part I stated to him that I needed windows installed. ( If he was actually legit he would have known that windows was already installed on the M2 drive). Esentially I paid $300.00 and supplied parts for something minor (bad ram). At no point was he clear or communicated the EXACT issue, cost, or anything. I explained to him even if his rate was 75hr he did not spend 4 hours to install 2 parts wipe out my drive and install windows, but he was adamant that this was $300.00 of work. I called him after getting home and hooking up the computer to ask why my hard drives were erased, he played dumb and claimed that he informed me that they would be (Also a lie) and to unplug and plug them back up. I do not find him to be honest or do good business, and I urge people to take their business elsewhere.

Further to this review she also replaced the battery on my boyfriends iPhone 11, his phone was shutting down and no longer holding a charge - she quickly looked to find he would need to get a new phone. He asked "Can't you fix it" She said certainly- Jen replaced with a new battery and updated with the latest update- his phone is in tip top shape- saved him that awful visit to upgrade his phone. I dropped my phone off at Konnections, who told me they could fix it. Hours passed and I hadn't heard back from them regarding the progress of my phone. I called multiple times, only for nobody to answer. Finally, close to their closing time, I called and someone picked up. They told me the repair guy ran into some problems and I'd have to pick it up the next day (Monday). I use my phone for work, so this was a big problem for me, but there was nothing I could do about it at that point. The next day, I waited until later in the afternoon to call, to assure that they'd have plenty of time to fix my phone. When I got a hold of someone, they told me they had tried to call me to tell me I could come pick it up. (I later found out they were calling and leaving messages on my cellphone, the one they had in their possession. Instead of calling the number I provided) Anyway, I go to pick up my phone, only to be told that my Home Button just happened to break during the repair (keep in mind, I had no problem with my home button prior to dropping my phone off here) They told me they could replace the home button for an additional $45, on top of the screen repair they charged me $95 for. So, I declined. I didn't want to do any more business with them. I called other repair shops, only to be told that nobody other than Apple can replace an iPhone 7 or newer home button. I was told this by other repair shops just like this one. So I have no idea what Konnections planned on doing for $45 if they couldn't actually replace what they broke. So I made an appointment with Apple. It took an Apple employee 2 seconds to look at my phone screen and notice that it was an inferior product. He noticed the colors were diluted and the calibration was all messed up on the replacement screen I was given. In the end, the damage they did to my phone was unrepairable and Apple ended up giving me an entirely new phone for $150. So I could have saved myself $95. Moral of the sorry, don't go here. They're scam artists.
