I feel botched and seeking help from another surgeon! I'm more self conscious and more disappointed in the way I look prior to surgery! I came to Dr Berhane because I felt as though he did a decent job with my prior surgeries but I truly believe he wasn't skilled enough in the area of legs and body lifts! I would have preferred him being completely honest with me in his ability to perform this type of surgery vs attempting to do this surgery and messing my body up! More skin was removed from my arms vs legs, no liposuction was done, I have a permanent scar on my buttocks for no apparent reason, very crooked and uneven scars and so much skin still hanging from my legs and buttocks! My butt has been spread apart and it looks horrible..It doesn't even look like any skin was removed at all and I actually look worst than before my surgery! I cry almost every day when I look at myself in the mirror naked! I'm so angry about my body and feel ripped off! Upon speaking with Dr Berhane after surgery and during my healing process I don't feel as though he listened or addressed any of my concerns or issues! But rather tried to pacify me..After months of recovery it looks worst because gravity is taking place and more skin laxity is settling in! He has suggested we could look at a revision but I just don't trust him doing this procedure again...I'm very saddened at this review because I truly had good experiences with the staff and him prior to this last surgery but I feel the need to make others aware of my bad experience..

My experience here was absolutely perfect, Angela is super knowledgeable and honest when it comes to her prices, products, and what she thinks would look best for you if you're not 100% sure on making a decision. The day before my appointment I was texted thorough instructions on how to reach her office, which was very helpful because navigating to it was quite challenging. There is a parking garage and also a few parking spots before the gated community area, but the spots are sparse. I recommend doing free street parking along the area, either the sidewalk in front of StudioPlex or the residential streets nearby and walking to the clinic, which will be through the walkway you see directly under the big StudioPlex sign. You have to walk quite a bit into the walkway, and eventually you'll see the clinic's sign out front. The interior of the clinic is clean and decorated nicely, with info pamphlets about the products being used and services offered. Through the entire process--consultation and procedure--Angela gave very helpful advice and I ended up adding on a botox treatment for my TMJ while also providing aesthetic results. I definitely would come again, you're shown immediate before and after pictures, and despite the differences the end result for me came out so natural and exactly what I was hoping for! Angela's also very generous about helping figure out pricing and pay, which I greatly appreciated!! I definitely will be coming back, battling in the race to book with her on the appointment schedule is 100% worth it for me!

I said yes because it seemed to wear off faster than usual. The price was almost double what I had previously paid, so I assumed the treatment would be longer-lasting. Two weeks later, I still had noticeable movement in my forehead. I texted to request a touch-up, and she scheduled me at her StudioPlex location, which I hadn't been to before. When I arrived, I couldn't find the suite. I called and texted multiple times but didn't receive a response.I understand she may have been with clients, but since I didn't show up at my appointment time, I would have expected her to check her phone to see where I was. I wandered around for 20-30 minutes in the cold and rain trying to locate her suite with no success. When I got home, I texted again asking if I could reschedule at her Midtown location. She apologized for missing my calls and messages but didn't address rescheduling. I followed up the next day and didn't receive a reply. Considering the $700+ cost, nearly double my usual, I'm left questioning whether I received the full amount of Botox I was charged for.

Kelly has been nothing but kind, compassionate, and patient with me and my concerns... and above all, she is exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled. I came to her for a consultation, and she suggested I do a course of fotofacials followed by a mild chemical peel. I was irrationally scared about this (think, TV characters with bright red skin for comedic effect), but I am so glad I trusted her expertise because I am thrilled with the results. For the first time I can remember in years, my skin is completely blemish-free. My skin tone is even. My acne scars and fine lines have softened. My skin is tighter and glowing. By the account of that one family member who tells it like it is, I've shaved 5 or 10 years off my appearance (ha, she's right though). It is wonderful to be able to go out without a pound of makeup on my face. The change from just a few months before is drastic, and it's is remarkable to me that we could achieve these results without injectables, invasive procedures, etc. Thank you, Kelly! You are a beautiful person, inside and out! P.S. The facility is very private for those of you looking for discretion. I've only crossed paths with another client, briefly in the waiting room, one time out of all my visits.

During my visit, I casually mentioned that my under eye area was starting to look hollow, but that I was nervous about filler in such a sensitive area. Heather recommended Ultherapy, explaining it would help my body naturally produce collagen and in turn plump up the skin. I trusted she knew what she was doing and agreed to go for it. It was the worst decision I have made in my 34 years. The procedure was extremely painful and right before finishing, Heather said she was going to use a higher setting and treat under my eyes one more time. In that moment, she essentially carved into my face and destroyed the fat under my eyes. After I finished peeling, my under eyes looked awful. I developed severe discoloration, and I began waking up with under eye bags, something I had never had before ever in my all my life. I reached out to Heather, and she acknowledged the darkness, telling me to wait another week and that I would likely peel again. That never happened, and my under eyes did not improve. Realizing Heather did not know what she was talking about, I saw a dermatologist for a second opinion. He was shocked Ultherapy was used on me given my age, lack of wrinkles, and low facial fat. He told me Ultherapy should not be performed on patients with low facial fat, especially around the eyes. I brought this information back to Heather, and she arranged for me to meet with one of the female surgeons, I think name is Kimberly. Both Heather and the Kimberly repeatedly insisted Ultherapy was safe and could not have caused the damage I was experiencing. Because of the discoloration, Kimberly kindly offered me free of charge MOXI laser treatments and told me I could return as many times as needed until the problem was corrected, and that Maria would perform the treatments. I completed three MOXI treatments with Maria. The first two visits were fine, but by the third, she became dismissive and had the audacity to question whether I expected the treatment to be free. I said yes, because that was what I had been told and I still clearly had discoloration under my eyes. She went on to say I was taking up time on her schedule, benefiting from use of the machine, and because of that I should pay something and would check with Kimberly on how much it should be. Kimberly honored her word (suck it, Maria) and confirmed the treatment would remain complimentary, which I appreciated. At that point I was turned off completely and I asked whether it would be safe to use a higher setting so I wouldn't have to keep returning. Maria said yes. That was another mistake I made. After the third treatment, my under eyes looked even more sunken, the darkness spread further, and I developed fine lines and wrinkles in the areas she lasered. I was absolutely horrified and became severely depressed. After seeing three different dermatologists, I finally found one who correctly diagnosed the issue: the discoloration was not hyperpigmentation, but hemosiderin staining. I was told that using high setting, heat based lasers in such thin skin caused fat atrophy which exposed more of my vascular system, and on top of that traumatized the blood vessels, leading to the staining/discoloration. I have spent close to $4,000 on filler appointments and specialist visits to diagnose and treat the damage caused by Heather and Maria. What started as a $300 cosmetic appointment has resulted in not only loss of significant money but also loss of self-esteem, and permanent damage that I will have to live with for the rest of my life. TL;DR: The medspa staff at Panacea are ill-informed and uneducated on the lasers/machines that they use and have caused irreversible damage that has deeply scarred me mentally and physically. Please stay clear of getting procedures done at this practice's medspa.

On the day of surgery, Dr. Stong arrived an hour late, and throughout was dismissive and displayed an egotistical demeanor, which made it difficult to feel heard or taken seriously as a patient. About a year ago, I reached out to Dr. Stong to express growing concerns as my nose was visibly collapsing, I was experiencing breathing difficulties, and I had cartilage protruding from the tip of my nose. I became extremely self conscious of my nose as it had collapsed and looked completely botched. Rather than addressing these concerns clinically, his response was dismissive. He stated, "You haven't mentioned once that you like your nose your nose looks fine," disregarding both the issues I was describing. When I requested my medical records related to this surgery, I was informed that they did not have my records available to release to me. Given the severity of the complications I was experiencing, this lack of access to my own medical records was extremely concerning and felt highly unprofessional. The outcome of this surgery resulted in a revision rhinoplasty this year. During the seven hour revision procedure, my new surgeon had to fully open and reconstruct my nose due to the extent of the internal damage present. A significant amount of cartilage had been removed, bone was protruding, and my septum was completely deviated. I was informed that this was one of the most severe cases and careless work my revision surgeon had encountered. As a result, I have now had to undergo a reconstructive operation, with substantial physical recovery, emotional distress, and financial burden, all of which could have been avoided with appropriate surgical care the first time. After going through this experience and reading other reviews, it is clear that I am not alone. There are numerous other patients who have reported similar issues, including being botched, dismissive and arrogant behavior, him arriving late to surgery, and difficulty obtaining their medical records. I am not one to ever write reviews, but the consequences of this surgery have been significant enough that I believe others deserve to be aware before proceeding!! BEWARE!

Before and After perialar lip lift -…read more This surgery has been nothing short of life changing for me. Five years ago I was botched by a different doctor with a seemingly harmless injection and it left my upper lip way too long and wide for symmetry of my face. I looked like a different (much older) person. I consulted over 5 doctors, 2 of which said I was not a candidate for a regular lip lift. Which made sense bc when I tried to simulate the result of a normal lip lift, which just lifts the middle third of one's lip, I didn't see much change. I'd been searching the internet for 5 years trying to find someone that offered a lip lift that lifted the entire lip including the corners. One day I found Dr. Stong and I knew this was perfect for me and my lip woes would finally be laid to rest. I'm back to getting attention and walking out into the world confidently. It changed my whole face back to what it was before- even had the effect of plumping my lower lip and changing my face shape back to more of an oval rather than a square. Dr. Stong conducts himself with the highest professionalism. As far as the scar, I used biocornium serum daily, got 3 co2 treatments specifically on the scar, and got a steroid injection. The recovery was kind of rough but I would have done anything for this result. I've heard something like 70% of people are not good candidates for a normal lip lift, and of the 30% that are, the results aren't very apparent in about half of them. That means that a normal lip lift only helps about 15% of the population who seek them. The solution for this gap in the market is Dr. Stong's cutting-edge Perialar lip lift. With Dr. Stong's technique, you WILL get a drastic and impressive result. These after photo is with no lipstick on. Would recommend over and over again. Idk why more dr's don't use this as their gold standard. Thank you Dr. Stong!!

After all the positive reviews and cool pictures I thought I would splurge $90 (the groupons are…read moredone & the receptionist said there are no deals) and take a much-needed spa day. I decided to try a flöt (pronounced float) for the first time. Unfortunately, this place is only aesthetically appealing, as to be a facade to the actual experience. It looks cool, it really does, but a jacuzzi or sauna is much more relaxing than a flöt and a heck of a lot cheaper. After I put on goggles and earbuds I got into the pod. The goggles made everything dark so the lights inside are just for looks. My belly and chest remained above the water the entire time getting very dry, but the uncomfortable part was my neck. The more I tried to relax and "let go" my neck stiffed up (which is unusual for my body). When I tried to ease back in the float, the salt water attacked the goggles and immediately burned my eyes. So I laid there in darkness, eyes shut tight and neck stiff. Buoying in the water and bumping into the sides of the pod. The earbuds got uncomfortable after about 20 minutes underwater so if you insist on learning for yourself I suggest you buy your own. Maybe some better goggles too? My meditation failed because I was so uncomfortable and I wanted the 60 minutes to be over quickly. Oh, I didn't even mention how the water was a little colder than room temperature even though I had the pod closed the whole time. I would take a hot bath over this any day. Overall this is just not a smart investment... relaxing-wise, body-wise, and definitely not money-wise. SAVE your money and go get a massage or a facial at a nice spa! Atlanta spas have great weekly deals and especially deals for first time guests BUT AVOID THIS PLACE.

I just visited this spa on Valentine's Day. It was my gift to my boyfriend and myself and let me…read morejust say, there was no disappointment. First let me start with the very beginning of the process. Booking an appointment was exceptionally easy. You just fill out a form on their website and then they give you a phone call to inform you if your date and time is available. BOOM! Your appointment for a peaceful oasis is finalized and now you have time to worry about how good the services will be and read others Yelp reviews in fear. Okay so first let me say that Natalie, the clerk I spoke with over the phone was so sweet and nice. Very soft-spoken which fits with the atmosphere. She was helpful and answered all of my questions without exhaustion. They informed me to call them when I got on the street of the spa so that they could open the private parking deck which was refreshing, as all of the fellow Atlanta residers know how bad finding parking can be. I signed my boyfriend and I up for a Flöting session + Massage therapy each. There was a V-Day special where I saved $60 in total. As soon as we walked in, we sat down at the quaint reception area and were offered hot tea or water immediately. we both had an automatic yes to the tea and it was very delicious. Natalie then handed us each forms to sign that covered the basics. Age, safety info, etc. Then we were lead to the waiting area which was the definition of tranquility. The lighting was a dim yellow and we were again offered water, tea, and CHAMPAGNE! Yes you heard me, alcohol. lol. Well there was also brownies, chocolates (the good kind), full bags of peanuts and cashews and more. Obviously I threw a few items in my bag due to the fact that I am a diagnosed snacker! As we waited, my boyfriend was escorted to the male changing room and then I was escorted to the female changing room. I was handed a warmed robe and slippers, given a locker with a key for my personal items, and welcomed to use all of the amazing Aveda products. After changing I made my way back to the lounging area and my boyfriend decided to get his massage first while I decided to flöt first. I was escorted into a beautiful white room with the pod in the center, a rain shower on my left, ear plugs, goggles, petroleum jelly (for cuts) and towels. I was informed on the signal for 2 min. left until my flöt was over, that I could leave the pod door open or closed, how to turn the blue light on the inside off, and if I wanted music during the beginning, end, or entire time. I opted for music the entire time and I am really glad I did. She left and I rinsed in the beautiful shower and made my way to the pod. I cannot lie, I was nervous. I had read one bad review and it had me nervous even though there were many amazing reviews. Let me break down the one bad review I saw and I am sure you may see and tell you my version of it. 1. The pod water is warm. The longer inside with door open, the colder it becomes but when you have the pod door closed, the water stays about the same temperature. 2. When the goggles are put on, they cancel out the blue light, yes but goggles are optional. When flöting correctly, your eyes should never be in contact with water. 3. The idea is to meditate and relax. Let your body carry itself. 4. The ear plugs did just what they should have. I find that many people are not sure how deep to insert plugs which causes the water to enter their ear but unless they upgraded their products, I had no issue. 5. Flöting is not for everyone but it was truly an amazing experience to say you have had, even if it is just once. After my flöting was complete, I rinsed off again, shampooed my hair, and went back to the lounge room where I waited with my boyfriend. He raved about the massage and how nice the therapist, Jeana, was. This automatically made me excited. Natalie then came and asked me what essential oil set scent I wanted. I tried Rose and was not disappointed. Jeana was amazing. So nice and welcoming to a newbie in the spa world. She made me feel comfortable and we talked my entire massage. And not that annoying talking, she spoke when I spoke so I felt I had complete control over whether it was silent or not. HER HANDS ARE GOD GIVEN. What she did to my back and neck can only be described as incredible. I will definitely become a regular of her, and ONLY HER. Overall, my experience was amazing, affordable, and comfortable. After the massage I was back in the changing room and I was able to blow dry my hair, use more Aveda products, and more. They had everything you could imagine needing. Dry shampoo, moisturizing face wash, hand lotion, foot lotion, body lotion, bobby pins, Q-tips, ear cleaner, blow dryer, towels etc. I WILL BE BACK!
