The results were good, he doesn't have arthritis but still the reason for limping is not known. I got back again to have his nails clipped it's €8,50 But if they need second technician to hold him down the price will double. Of course you can offer yourself to make it cheaper. The nail clipping did not go well. They were cutting it too short he was bleeding. I had to hold him down. I said stop when the third claw was clipped and blood was dripping. The previous time I came here to get the same exact things for my dog (plus a trim), the groomer took care of it and I was told to pick him up in 15 minutes. The cost was €34.75. When I went the most recent time, they took me and my dog to a exam room and I thought it was strange. The vet came in and starting cutting my dog's nails and made him bleed! She did that to THREE of his nails! She then used some hot iron thing (which I've never seen before, since it's usually the kwik stop styptic powder) to stop the bleeding. When I went to pay, they charged me €43.50, the price for an exam. I questioned the receptionist and she said I had to pay the full amount me we saw the vet. WTH. I was so confused. Then I explained that my dog has the same things done to him last time, if not more, and it was with the groomer. They refused to budge and insisted that I had to pay the full amount. Then one of the receptionists said, "Oh yeah, you called yesterday. Oh my bad, I thought you wanted to see the Vet. Next time clarify that you want to see a groomer." WTH. Why would I need to see a vet for something a groomer can do? My dog was perfectly healthy and fine. And if you had told me that I was going to see a vet I would've clarified. I paid anyway and left with my dog. In less than 5 minutes, I had to go back to the clinic because my dogs nails started to bleed again! This time the receptionist used the styptic powder to stop and bleeding and it worked right away. UGH, will never step foot in here ever again.

They had just put our puppy in the bath. Why could they not call us to inform us of the delay? And what did they do with our puppy for 2.5 hours? It was my 5 month old puppy's first time at a groomer so I wanted to check he was okay. Both he and the other dog in the store looked traumatised, so I said I will take him when he's dry. I didn't trust them to cut him. We waited outside, a few doors down from the shop. 10 mins later my puppy comes running from the store with his leash on and the lady chasing him. He ran out on the cycle lane(luckily a bike had just passed) and nearly ran out in front of a car. Thankfully a passerby acted fast and caught him. I witnessed the whole thing and ran to my puppy. He was very scared and crying. The lady from the store didn't even apologise. Don't trust these people with your dog. Had it not been for the stranger who acted fast, my puppy could have been killed.

To begin with, it took over 2.5 hours for my pup to be groomed (whereas, it took about 1 hour for an extremely thorough grooming at his previous groomer). Further, the grooming ended up being roughly 20 Euros more than stated on their website, for no apparent reason. I believe that I found fleas on my pup upon returning to our home from the trimsalon (I cannot confirm this 100% because we went on vacation a few days later, which complicated monitoring him). But, my biggest issue was that they trimmed his whiskers AND they trimmed them really short, which is a basic grooming no-no. As a result, my pup keeps having to come up really close to things and touch them with his snout (he never did this before) because his depth-perception is all off (due to the whisker trimming) :(

Sadly not all let shops carry this brand. The guy running this shop is friendly, and knows his stuff. They are primarily focussed on food, but that's actually good, lots of choice!

Then check out this place!…read more I often go in just to look around and I kind of like the way pet shops smell.... just, I just confessed this on Yelp. No, seriously... they have bunnies, guinea pigs, rats, mice, hamsters etc. so they have lots of hay and dried grass in their enclosures. They also sell the stuff so it smells awesome! And who doesn't like the smell of fresh dried grass?!?! Come on! That's also another reason I often walk in, to check out the cute animals (but you can't pet them because of the glass enclosures. They also have a bunch of fish and other aquarium creatures but they're boring 'cause you can't hug them. This pet shop, like most (but not all, believe it or not), carries the veterinarian approved cat and dog food brands such as Royal Canin and Hill's Science. Okay, here's the thing! If you buy cheap supermarket pet food, you're a horrible human being!! Stop buying that crap for your innocent pet! The cheapest pet food is PURE starch and ash and NO animal proteins, whatsoever. A level above the cheapest crap MAY contain corn proteins! CORN?! F*cking CORN?!?! Last time I checked, cats and dogs are carnivorous! Meaning: They NEED meat! Their bodies NEED meat! So this is what happens when you give them crap: Malnutrition! They get weaker, unhappier, lazy, lack of energy, their feces smells worse than it should, they shed more etc. etc. etc. And they get FAT! Why? Because they don't feel saturated so they keep eating and eating. BUT, get them quality food and they will be happier and healthier and they will eat less of it because they'll feel saturated! In fact, it will even cost you LESS to buy premium food because of the vet bills that won't stack up because you're now actually keeping them healthy. Not to mention that if you buy 10, 15 or 20 KG packs at a time, you are actually paying WAY less per KG and also less or about the same as the supermarket crap you would otherwise buy weekly. Get your act together and provide the best of what is available for your beloved pet! Alright, that had to be said :) Anyway, they also have lots of toys, beds, posts, leashes, medicine, shampoo etc. Just check it out.
