With only a few hours in Berlin I had to chose one yarn shop to visit. I made the right choice. If…read moreonly budget and luggage restrictions had allowed, I would have carted off a lot of their wonderful yarn selections. I was pleased to see that there were quite a few customers in the shop. I didn't mind waiting for service. The clerks were kind, attentive and knowledgeable. I only wish I had had more time to spend. I highly recommend this shop for fiber, and fabric crafters.

I even bought a sweater there once because it was so similar to the one I was buying yarn to knit myself! The only thing I don't absolutely love is that they only carry wooden needles, which I hate. I'm way too hard on equipment for wooden needles. Breaky breaky. They have a great range of prices and yarn weights. No ultra-cheep plasticky garbage yarn, no tasteless gnarly novelty yarn (only cool, intriguing novelty yarn in appropriately curated quantities). Also, the people who work there are extremely helpful and friendly.

The woman working there was in the process of knitting up a swatch scarf of a new yarn and I was obsessed with it and had to by that too! Then I saw the cashmere and you know what comes after feeling it....yep out came the credit card . The staff were friendly and very helpful. Definitely spent more than I planned to but extremely happy with my haul! They all spoke fluent English.
