This is located down the steps from the Rathausplatz. We were a group of six who stopped for Sunday lunch after being at the Christmas market. The atmosphere is very nice but also family friendly. Our server was very nice and explained things well. The food was absolutely fantastic! We started with an amuse bouche. The kids had the pumpkin soup and the Rehessenz soup. They also offered to make a child-size Wiener Schnitzel for the kids. The Selerie (celery) appetizer was excellent. We had the sea bass, truffle pasta, local wild meat, and the duck breast. Fine dining ? Oh, yes, it is ! In a very elegant atmosphere balancing gently between tradition of a haute cuisine house with starched table linen, silverware and candle sticks and colorful modern paintings, the courteous, discreet and attentive staff will serve finely executed, full of savor and lively dishes. Lively, because there is a twist somewhere like the star anise broth with the fish or the rosebud jam with the desert.
