Maybe it was just an illusion, but it just felt like the square footage in the store just felt smaller. We all know that their stock is dependent on what they received. Most times, it's not that great. Here, I think that contributed to the lack of items on the store floor. I looked for what I thought my Dad was talking about, only to not find it. I came here because I did not pack enough clothes for my trip. Well, I did, just not the appropriate kind. I came in and automatically went to the clearance section. It was just going to be while I was driving throughout the heat. At first, I couldn't find the clearance section. When I finally did, it was kind of picked over section. I saw a pair of shorts and just grabbed them to hold them tight in case I didn't see anything else in the store. I went on browsing and didn't see anything else that I wanted and made my way to the register line. There was a decent line and a steady pace. What held it up was a customer doing a return and a customer with a pretty hefty order. With the pace the two staff were going, it wasn't too bad. The staff person I got to deal with was pretty funny. I'm assuming the person in line in front of me she was joshing with was somebody she knew and joked with. Since they let me go before them.

In better days , I enjoyed going every Sunday after church and found it to have tons of native perrenials, and other interesting ground coverings, mosses, succulents, etc that I could not find anywhere else. When I went, if I intended to only purchase one plant, I ended up buying a cart full instead. It was not uncommon to see various butterflies and hummingbirds out and about in their garden areas.. The Joe-Pie native flowers I bought from them are still going strong- as are all the ornamental chive perrenials.. which the bees are enjoying as I type this. Consistent delays and lies in the office of promised dayes and calls. No calls since the order was purchased. Finally I gave up forst of Dec, yes, December. Tried calling, now closed during the week even though I was told in Oct that they would be open thru out the winter. Omission of details is still lying. I called my credit card to start the chargeback process, found another company to deliver. Ordered on a Monday, delivered on Thursday. But guess what, now suddenly Floods deivered their order. No calls, no communications. Again, something has changed. Please be aware and get everything in writing and be prepared for legal path if contract is not fullfilled. Horrible experience and will no longer do any business with this unprofessional company.

Large store with an excellent selection that tends to stock the odder sizes that other stores and regular Shoe Department's don't. Almost every time I shop here, they have the 1/2 size wide I need. Selection in-store includes work boots, dress shoes, and everyday sneakers, with a separate clearance section off to the side. Overall excellent store worth a stop, and unless you need something very specific, the best of Wilkes-Barre.

We email the owner and he gets back to us 4 hours later saying that all of his employees are out sick. He will email us back when they are back in. He never emailed us back. Only having a few days there in the Poconos we call back the next day and the young lady says that they do buy back guns depending on the guns but she is only there for a half an hour more and that no one was there to relieve her so we can't bring it in that day and we would have to wait until the next day to see Rich. This is the same woman that made the appointment for 1-1:30 the next day. This is a poorly run establishment that makes appointments with you and doesn't keep them, make sure to call the morning of and the 5 minutes before leaving to make sure they are there. The work ethic on these people is outrageous and I'm shocked that they are still in business, there are other great places around that actually keep there appointments.

I was told this again when I called to check over the phone--he said to bring the guns and our ID. Then when we came today there were two completely different people working there and they gave us entirely different information. The whole thing was embarrassing because we were just doing what the other employee told us to do. He was not there, so we just looked dumb. So we didn't have to go there.... I guess? Now I am not entirely sure what to believe. And if I'm getting conflicting information from employees how can I trust what other information I get from them?
